Fox News’ Harris Faulkner torched former State Department spokesperson Marie Harf after she repeated Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams’ claims of voter suppression in the Peach State.

During the Faulkner report on Tuesday, she asked a panel of guests why Abrams, who is running against incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, continued to claim there was voter suppression in the state. Harf replied, “cause it’s true.”

When pressed why early voting in Georgia hit a midterm record in the state this cycle, Harf said it was because “a lot of people are turning out” on Tuesday to vote, claiming “both things can be true.”

“No actually, I don’t think that both things can be true,” Faulkner replied. “I don’t think that you can wear a sandal on the same foot that you have a stiletto.”

Harf replied, “A lot of people are turning out Harris, even though it’s more difficult.”

Faulkner didn’t accept her statement and said, “that didn’t have anything to do with” Abrams’ claims of “voter suppression.”

“And I really don’t understand how that becomes a closing argument in a state where yes..their inflation in Georgia is higher than the national rate it’s 9 percent,” the Fox News host explained.  “You need to be talking about the economy. So, I hear you Marie, I am just wondering why is she focused on voter suppression and Brian Kemp isn’t there with her. That’s why this is looking the way it does.”

Harf admitted Abrams is making the accusation to “implore her voters to come out…”

“Yeah, I don’t know, telling more people that they are victims rather than incentivizing them with great ideas and giving them a reason to come to the polls just seems lazy to me,” Faulkner replied. “Like you do have an option. And people are doing this across the country.”
