After Daily Wire Editor-in Chief Ben Shapiro suggested on Fox News’ The Kelly File that Donald Trump dusts his face with Cheetos before his TV appearances, Glenn Beck and his cohorts on The Blaze decided to perform a hilarious send-up of the idea, literally dipping their faces in Cheetos to test the validity of Shapiro’s assertion.
The four men circled a table that featured four different dishes filled with various kinds of Cheetos. The dialogue began like this:
Beck: We thought, after seeing Donald Trump on television, we thought if you wore the goggles, the swim goggles, and you stuck your face in Cheetos, crushed Cheetos, that you would look like Donald Trump in the end.
The fellow just to Beck’s right, who will eventually take the highly dangerous path of covering his face with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, and look the most like Trump, chimes in: I believe that it was Ben Shapiro who made this observation. You know, it does look like Donald Trump dips his face in Cheeto dust—
Pat Gray: Or he could take pick it up or slather it on; that’s what I intend to do —
Beck: No, no, no. I think it’s a —
Gray: What flavor do you have?
Beck: I think it’s regular.
Flamin’ Hot guy: Do you have the puffs or the original flavor?
Beck: I have the original flavor, and they’ve been crushed. (He dips his face)
F.H. guy: You’re not gonna get very good coverage that way.
Beck, rising with the Cheetos on his face: Do I look like Donald Trump?
The consensus: Beck needs more forehead.
Gray: That’s why I think you gotta do it, kinda like this. (He takes his hands, dips them in the Cheetos, and washes his face with them.)
Jeff Fisher also makes an attempt, but only when the last attempt is made by Flamin’ Hot Guy does the screen show a split-screen of F.H. guy and a picture of Trump, showing an amazing similarity.
