<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Snow White” actress Gal Gadot recently shared details about a life-threatening blood clot she had in her brain while pregnant with her fourth child.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 39-year-old discussed the incident during an episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show” that aired on Tuesday. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I was eight months pregnant and it was my fourth baby. This time around I had massive headaches that completely put me down,” Gadot told Barrymore, per </span><a href="https://people.com/gal-gadot-scared-to-death-when-doctors-discovered-blood-clot-in-her-brain-11698943"><span style="font-weight: 400;">People</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. “I was in bed and I couldn’t hear or see anything. I had a hot bottle on my head and was just like this [lays back] all day, 24 hours.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“And it just got worse and worse and worse and I saw different doctors and neurologists and they said, ‘It’s probably a nasty migraine,’” she said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The actress said her mom convinced her to get an MRI to check out the situation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Gadot added, “None of the doctors sent me to get an MRI, even if we asked for it before. Always advocate for your health. Always. Listen to yourself, advocate for your heart. If anything, you just over-checked yourself, right? That’s okay. And in this case, went to get an MRI and we were rushed to the hospital. I had a major brain clot.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“If I had gone through a spontaneous delivery, I would not have been here,” she added. “It was all of this [touches head], 15 centimeters and 5 centimeters, three different ones. And it was the first time that I felt what it meant to be scared to death. And again, had I known better, they could have just put me on blood thinners and done.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The “Wonder Woman” star said she ended up undergoing emergency surgery and giving birth to her daughter within two hours of her diagnosis. She told Barrymore that while blood clots are rare, she’s hoping to spread awareness to women about the possibility.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Three out of 100,000 pregnant women will have a brain clot. But if you feel any symptoms just check yourself,” the actress said. “MRI is very easy and there’s no radiation or anything.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Gadot has been at the center of the “Snow White” controversy as Disney scaled back the movie’s premiere amid bad press. Most of this has to do with the film’s star, Rachel Zegler, who made disparaging remarks about the source material and Trump supporters. Zegler is also pro-Palestinian, while Gadot is Israeli and served in the Israel Defense Forces. She also publicly advocated for the release of the October 7 hostages.</span></p>
