Actress Selma Blair was arrested following an altercation with flight attendants on Sunday, TMZ reported.

The “Cruel Intentions” star is accused of punching one flight attendant and biting another after trying to open the plane’s door in the middle of the flight. The altercation occurred aboard a Delta Air Lines flight destined for JFK International Airport in New York, according to TMZ.

Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ reveals that the crew requested medical backup for minor injuries including a bloody nose and bite marks. Blair was reportedly uncooperative while being transported to the hospital and was also accused of assaulting a Port Authority police officer and a nurse.

Audio of the Delta crew requesting medical assistance was obtained by Fox News. The dispatch features a crew member saying they need “medical personnel” at the gate for flight attendants and a passenger.

When asked how many ambulances were needed, the pilot confirmed that no ambulances were needed, but said two flight attendants were in need of medical personnel. The Port Authority police told the outlet that it was an “ongoing investigation” but confirmed that their unit responded to a “physically abusive” passenger aboard Delta Airlines flight 938 which was parked at the gate after arrival from LAX.

“Suspect was identified as Selma Blair, a 54-year-old woman. She was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation. Two flight attendants also reported injuries, and one was transported to the hospital.”

The “Cruel Intentions” actress has been openly sharing her struggles with living with the degenerative disease multiple sclerosis for years after being diagnosed with the disease in 2018.

Blair has been vocal about her past struggles with alcohol dependency before she received the MS diagnosis. “We have a long time to be dead and I spent so long trying to kill myself, or numb myself, or check out — or figure out how to be alive by being half dead,” she said in the 2021 documentary “Introducing, Selma Blair.”

“And now I just want to help other people feel better,” the actress added.
