Leading pro-life group and news outlet Live Action released a satirical video Friday slamming the hypocrisy of the pro-abortion movement, and “pro-choice” men who are routinely framed as advocates for women and women’s rights.
The three-minute satirical video shows “pro-choice” men explain why abortion “rights” for women are so important — and, spoiler, it has a lot to do with them escaping any responsibility.
“Abortion rights are pro-choice men’s rights,” one of the fake-progressive men says in the video. “I deserve to be free from any responsibility for some girl I get pregnant.”
Notably, he’s wearing a t-shirt that reads, “Husbands and Fathers are Beta Males,” with the added hashtag, “#ProChoiceMen.”
Another “pro-choice” man, aptly wearing a “Her Body, Her Problem” t-shirt, says, “I deserve to enjoy sex without commitment, marriage, or parenthood.”
A “NOT Dad Material” t-shirt-wearing male “feminist” argues, “It’s ridiculous to think that just because I’m the father, I’m expected to be a dad.”
“It’s her body, and it’s her choice … so don’t be asking me for anything,” another man says. His shirt reads, “Pregnant Women Aren’t Women.”
Another male “pro-choice” argument comes from “caring,” of course. “And, look, I’m a caring guy,” he says. “If I get a girl pregnant and then abandon her, I don’t want to leave her alone with a kid.”
In a statement to The Daily Wire, Live Action founder and President Lila Rose emphasized the real harm abortion does to women and her children — and the role “real men” must play in the issue.
“For decades, we have been told the lie that abortion is a ‘woman’s right’ and that it offers her freedom and empowerment,” Rose told The Daily Wire. “The truth is that abortion has always been driven primarily by the demands and desires of so-called ‘pro-choice’ men.”
“Abortion has never been about respecting women, but rather about using a woman’s body for pleasure and then destroying the bodies of her children for profit,” she continued.
“Real men support women and their preborn children,” Rose asserted. “A true man never forces their loved ones to endure the violence of abortion.”
“This Live Action video shows the blatant hypocrisy of the multi-billion-dollar abortion industry’s ploy to ‘empower women’, when all it really does is harm her and destroy her innocent child’s life,” she underscored.
