<p>Actress Eva Mendes talked about a possible return to acting, but explained that as a mom of four kids, there are things she won&#8217;t do anymore — and that&#8217;s a role about &#8220;sexuality&#8221; or &#8220;violence.&#8221;</p>
<p>During the 48-year-old actress’ appearance on &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjdBdWYUKk4">The View</a>&#8221; Tuesday, the &#8220;Ghost Rider&#8221; star told one of the co-hosts of the ABC daytime talk show, Whoopi Goldberg, that she was open to returning to the big screen, but as a mother, the project must meet certain obligations, and she admitted the &#8220;list is short.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;You know, Whoopi, I have such a short list of what I will do,&#8221; the &#8220;Hitch&#8221; star shared. &#8220;Like before kids &#8230; I mean, if it was a fun project. But now I won&#8217;t do — I don’t wanna do violence, I don&#8217;t wanna do sexuality, the list is short.&#8221;</p>

<p>When Mendes was pressed by co-host Sunny Hostin if the actress would return for a &#8220;special project&#8221; that fit those requirements, &#8220;The Other Guys&#8221; star said, &#8220;I hope so. I would like to. It has to be nice and clean.&#8221;</p>
<p>Later, Hostin asked the actress about why she decided to take a break from social media last year.</p>
<p>&#8220;I took a break from social media because I started feeling really phony in it,&#8221; Mendes shared. &#8220;You know, you hear, &#8216;you need to put out content, content,&#8217; and it&#8217;s like, okay, content, but okay, what is that? So, I started seeing my day like, &#8216;is this a social media post?’ …  and I was like, I don&#8217;t want to live like that.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I want to have more genuine, like, ‘oh, that&#8217;s cool to post,’” she added. &#8220;But not seek it out. And I started feeling phony.&#8221;</p>
<p>Eva was last seen on the big screen in 2014 when she appeared alongside her real life partner/director Ryan Gosling in the movie &#8220;The Lost River.&#8221;</p>
<p>Earlier this month, the &#8220;2 Fast 2 Furious&#8221; star opened up about motherhood during her appearance on &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gzo2AHvwYY">Today with Hoda and Jenna</a>.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I met Ryan Gosling, I fell in love with Ryan Gosling, and then I was like, &#8216;Oh right. I want your babies,’” Mendes shared. &#8220;But really consciously I did want to wait until I was a bit older. I just didn&#8217;t feel — really it wasn&#8217;t until I met Ryan and fell in love.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;But also as like a woman, I just wasn&#8217;t ready,&#8221; she added. &#8220;It&#8217;s such a personal choice for a woman, obviously. Then you run the risk of &#8230; you&#8217;re always running a risk. When I was pregnant, there was always something to worry about. But thankfully, I had really healthy pregnancies and I was happy I waited.&#8221;</p>
