TV and duck-call sensation Phil Robertson has just announced that he and his Duck Dynasty family are endorsing Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz in the race for the White House.
Phil says the qualifications he’s looking for in a president are “rather narrow”:
1. Is he or she godly?
2. Does he or she love us?
3. Can he or she do the job?
And finally…
4. Will they kill a duck and put them in a pot and make ’em a good duck gumbo?
Luckily for Cruz, Phil says he’s looked at the candidates and, “Ted Cruz is my man.”
“He can do the job and I am voting for him.”
Phil and his family run the hugely successful Duck Commander brand duck-calls, and have deemed Ted the “Cruz Commander.”
