Many “Aquaman” fans don’t think actress Amber Heard should be allowed to star in the franchise for “Aquaman 2,” a new petition states. The change.org document garnered more than 2 million signatures demanding that Heard, who plays Princess Mera in the Warner Brothers superhero sequel, be removed from the project.

Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against his ex-wife Heard has been dominating headlines for weeks. The 58-year-old actor decided to bring charges against his ex after claiming his career suffered after her accusations of domestic abuse. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star is seeking to prove that he was the actual victim of abuse in the relationship.

The trial has brought about some truly shocking revelations for both sides. But fans are finding it harder and harder to stay on Team Amber as they find out more details about the alleged abuse Depp suffered during their marriage.

“Do the right thing. Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2,” petition creator Jeanne Larson wrote in the document. At other points in the petition, Larson writes how Heard has “been exposed as a domestic abuser” and is guilty of “many examples of domestic abuse.”

Larson speaks on one of those alleged incidents in detail. “About the incident during which she shattered the bones in Johnny Depp’s finger and nearly severed it, causing Depp to require surgery to reattach and repair it,” Larson wrote. “He will bear the scar from that for the rest of his life.”

“Men are victims of domestic abuse, just like women. This must be recognized, and action must be taken to prevent a known abuser from being celebrated within the entertainment industry,” she continued.

Her goal is to get 3 million signatures. Filming for the movie wrapped in January, which would make Heard’s replacement a costly proposition. The movie is set to be released in 2023.

During the trial, Heard admits to “hitting” Depp but not “punching” him, and calls her ex a “f***ing baby” for reacting strongly to being physically assaulted, The Daily Wire reported.

“You’ve been in a lot of fights, you’ve been around a long time,” Heard said in provided audio. “You didn’t get punched. You got hit. I’m sorry I hit you like this, but I did not punch you. I did not f***ing deck you. I f***ing was hitting you. I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was.”

“But you’re fine,” the actress continued, addressing Depp. “I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you.”

“I’m not sitting here b****ing about, am I? You are. That’s the difference between me and you. You’re a f***ing baby,” she added. “You are such a baby! Grow the f*** up, Johnny.”
