<p>Disney&#8217;s &#8220;She-Hulk: Attorney At Law&#8221; star Jameela Jamil admitted she dropped out of recent auditions for a hit Netflix show over the filming of &#8220;sex scenes,&#8221; which she doesn&#8217;t do.</p>
<p>During the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jameela-jamil-celebrities-are-useless-i-might-well-leave-hollywood" target="_blank" rel="noopener">37-year-old actress</a>&#8216; recent appearance on Penn Badgley&#8217;s &#8220;Podcrushed&#8221; podcast, Jamil told the host she backed down from trying out for a potential role with Badgley in &#8220;You&#8221; Season 4 before the <a href="https://jezebel.com/penn-badgley-didn-t-want-to-do-intimacy-scenes-in-you-1850099309">actor</a> announced he was done with intimacy scenes on the show because &#8220;fidelity&#8221; in his marriage is important to him. He married Domino Kirke in 2017.</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t do sex scenes,&#8221; &#8220;The Good Place&#8221; star said. &#8220;In fact, I was supposed to audition for the most recent season of your show.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;My character was supposed to be quite sexy, and I pulled out of the audition, because I am so shy about anything sexy that I can&#8217;t,&#8221; she added.</p>
<p>&#8220;And then you f***ing came out and were like, &#8216;Yeah, I&#8217;m not doing sex scenes anymore,&#8217; and I was like, &#8216;I didn&#8217;t even know that was a boundary that we could draw,'&#8221; Jamil continued. &#8220;But then I was like, I should have gone and done the f***ing show.&#8221;</p>
<p>The &#8220;Legendary&#8221; star later talked about how it&#8217;s not only doing sex scenes that makes her feel uncomfortable but watching them on the screen as well, the <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jameela-jamil-dropped-audition-you-season-4-sex-scenes-1235481753/">Hollywood Reporter</a> noted.</p>
<p>&#8220;Can&#8217;t even watch sex scenes in films. … Even on my own, I have to fast-forward through sex scenes because I&#8217;ve become so shy about watching other people,&#8221; the actress said.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s not a shame. … I feel there&#8217;s an awkwardness around it,&#8221; she added.</p>

<p>Her comments came after Badgley&#8217;s earlier this year when he talked about going to the showrunners and telling them he didn&#8217;t want any more intimate scenes on the show in Season 4, the <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/penn-badgley-less-sex-scenes-you-season-4-1235322600/">Hollywood Reporter</a> noted.</p>

<p>&#8220;This is actually a decision I&#8217;d made before I took the show,&#8221; Badgley said. &#8220;I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve ever mentioned it publicly, but one of the main things is like, &#8216;Do I wanna put myself back on a career path where I&#8217;m just always a romantic lead?'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s really important to me … Fidelity in every relationship — and especially my marriage — is important to me, and it just got to a point where I didn&#8217;t wanna do that,&#8221; he added.</p>
<p>&#8220;Then, of course, before I took the show is there a question of, &#8216;Do I have a career if I don&#8217;t?'&#8221; Badgley continued. &#8220;I mean, you know, think about every male lead you&#8217;ve loved. Are they kissing someone? Are they doing a lot more than that? It&#8217;s really not my desire to.&#8221;</p>
