Former Disney star Sabrina Carpenter said she was forced to cancel her concert on Monday in Portland, Oregon, after what the promoter called a “credible security threat.”

The 23-year-old pop singer and actress tweeted to her 1.7 million followers an update after concert attendees were told to leave Keller Auditorium just ahead of her performance.

“I can’t tell you how much it breaks my heart, this is the last thing I wanted to do but due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to perform tonight,” Carpenter wrote.

“You will be refunded — refunds will come at point of purchase and we are doing our best to reschedule at a later date,” she added. “The venue is closing for the evening, please take care of yourselves and return home safely.”

“I am so sorry. I love you very much,” the singer concluded.

Her post didn’t explain why the show wasn’t happening or what had occurred that led authorities to cancel before she went out on stage after another band had been able to perform their set.

“Employees with the Crystal Ballroom called 911 after receiving an anonymous phone call from an individual claiming they were going to blow up the venue,” Portland Police Bureau Lieutenant Nathan Sheppard told People magazine on Wednesday.

“We contacted both venues and also conducted extra patrols around the Ballroom due to the threat,” he added, noting that the “Nonsense” hitmaker was originally scheduled to be at the Crystal Ballroom. She had been moved to Keller Auditorium due to a larger crowd.

Speaking to RollingStone magazine, promoter AEG Presents said before Carpenter was set to walk out on stage, there was a “credible security threat” and the show was called off “out of an abundance of caution.”

While the Oregon show didn’t happen, the singer did perform Tuesday in Seattle and is still scheduled to appear in San Francisco on Friday as part of her “Emails I Can’t Send” tour, which launched on March 16 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and runs through May.
