On Tuesday, disgraced former Congresswoman Katie Hill, who resigned in late October 2019 after allegations of sexual impropriety with a staffer came to light, weighed in on Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s clothes at Barrett’s confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court, tweeting, “I hate to be someone who judges women on their clothes but I’m sorry ACB’s outfits are all way too handsmaid-y.”
The temerity of Hill, who was reportedly told to resign by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), commenting on Barrett’s modest attire had its comedic appeal, since Hill long ago admitted to having an “inappropriate” sexual affair with a young female campaign staffer after explicit photographic evidence of the affair was released online, and a “British tabloid published intimate photos of her allegedly showing her holding a bong while naked, as Politico noted.
