<p>Actress and reality TV star Denise Richards on Friday defended her daughter Sam &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/i-do-not-condone-this-charlie-sheens-18-year-old-daughter-joins-onlyfans-he-dunks-on-ex-wife-denise-richards">Sami</a>&#8221; Sheen, 18, for joining subscription site OnlyFans, arguing that selling a bikini photo on OnlyFans is not really different than someone uploading it for free on other social media platforms. She also mused she should get herself an account, too.</p>
<p>Richards&#8217; ex-husband, actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/i-do-not-condone-this-charlie-sheens-18-year-old-daughter-joins-onlyfans-he-dunks-on-ex-wife-denise-richards">Charlie Sheen</a>, <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/charlie-sheen-reacts-daughter-sami-164725847.html">told</a> Fox News Digital on Tuesday that he doesn&#8217;t approve of his daughter joining the site, which is known for hosting adult content. “She is 18 years [old] now and living with her mother,&#8221; he said. &#8220;This did not occur under my roof.&#8221;</p>
<p>Richards, a sex symbol in the 1990s, took a shot at Sheen in an Instagram post supporting Sami&#8217;s OnlyFans account.</p>
<p>&#8220;Lots of negative comments on my social this past week,” she posted. “I have to say, I wish I had the confidence my 18-year-old daughter has. And I also can’t be judgmental of her choices. I did ‘Wild Things’ &amp; Playboy, quite frankly her father shouldn’t be either.&#8221;</p>
<p>Sami on Monday announced her move to OnlyFans, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/i-do-not-condone-this-charlie-sheens-18-year-old-daughter-joins-onlyfans-he-dunks-on-ex-wife-denise-richards">The Daily Wire</a> reported: &#8220;She posted a photo of herself in a string bikini to her Instagram page, where she has 55.7K followers. &#8216;Click the link in my bio if u wanna see more,&#8217; she wrote in the caption along with the kiss emoji.&#8221;</p>

<p>Richards admitted that she understands the site hosts adult content, but that did not stop her support.</p>
<p>“I recently learned about OnlyFans in the last few months,” she continued in the post. “The judgment because women &amp; men of the adult film industry are on there. I image they’re on Instagram &amp; Twitter as well.”</p>
<p>“Is there really a difference posting a picture of yourself in a bikini on [Instagram]?” Richards argued. “We’ve all done it. Because you get paid on OnlyFans? I’m pretty sure [Instagram] &amp; Twitter &amp; Facebook do quite well off of all of us. Is it so bad to control it &amp; monetize it, too?”</p>
