Country star Clay Walker released a statement Tuesday regarding a leaked profanity-laced rant at a bus driver that surfaced on TikTok and said the two have since reconciled over the incident that happened a while ago.
The 53-year-old country singer told <a href="https://countrynow.com/clay-walker-issues-statement-after-profanity-laced-rant-on-tour-bus-driver-leaks-online/">Country Now</a> — through his publicist — that the audio clip is from an incident that &#8220;happened over a year ago and it came at the end of a long, tough weekend. The bus driver and I reconciled immediately and we are friends and stay in touch.&#8221;
In the audio, Walker told the bus driver, &#8220;I&#8217;m coming over here and I&#8217;m going to tell you something. I can whip your a** with one hand tied behind my back. Don&#8217;t say a f***ing word.&#8221;

&#8220;Tomorrow call your f***ing boss and get me an experienced f***ing driver out here because you are not that,&#8221; the singer continued. &#8220;And I&#8217;ve been trying to raise you up last night and you&#8217;re telling me I&#8217;m eating into your f***ing drive time motherf***er.&#8221;

The &#8220;Live Until I Die&#8221; hitmaker then appeared to be very upset with the driver for being late and more, <a href="https://tasteofcountry.com/clay-walker-tour-bus-rant-statement/">Taste of Country</a> reported.
&#8220;Motherf***er, told me you&#8217;d be here at 10 f***ing PM,&#8221; Walker is overheard saying. &#8220;You were not here, you lying c***.&#8221;
&#8220;So when I come out of that bathroom, get your a** ready to drive, and drive me smooth, motherf***er, or you&#8217;re gonna regret it.&#8221;

After the clip surfaced, social media users called for the singer to explain and apologize.
