Country music star Toby Keith is set to headline a special event honoring America’s veterans that will be held at Daytona International Speedway on Memorial Day Weekend.

Keith will be joined by musical guests Justin Moore and Craig Morgan in the special “Heroes Honor Festival 2022” production presented by Engage Your Destiny, an organization dedicated to bringing honor, hope, and healing to military veterans and their families.

“Our society largely rejected Vietnam veterans when they came home from the war 50 years ago,” Ben Peterson, Iraq Veteran and Founder of Engage Your Destiny, said in a statement to The Daily Wire. “Despite many veterans having been drafted without a choice, they were shamed upon their return to the United States.”

“Despite this, these veterans vowed that those who followed would never experience the same rejection they did,” he continued. “They chose to become the guardians of honor for future welcome home ceremonies.”

The Heroes Honor Festival 2022 “aims to be the largest celebration of Vietnam veterans ever assembled to honor these veterans and their families with the truth of their heroism, humanitarianism, courage, and sacrifice,” said Peterson. “It is a grand display of appreciation from 9/11-era veterans and citizens to our Vietnam veterans.”

In addition to Keith, Moore, and Morgan’s performances, additional special guests are set to include additional musical artists and entertainers, such as Ann-Margret and Chris Noel.

A cast of decorated speakers will also address the attendees. Major Gen. Patrick Brady, a Vietnam War helicopter pilot and Medal of Honor and Distinguished Service Cross recipient, and Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, one of the original members of the U.S. Army’s Delta Force, will appear to honor America’s veterans and their families.

In addition, Lt. Col. Oliver North, a combat decorated U.S. Marine and best-selling author, is slated to appear.

Mark “Oz” Geist, the bestselling co-author of “13 Hours” and security and military consultant credited with saving 25 people in the attack on Benghazi, is also scheduled for the event.

At 7:30 p.m. on May 28, Heroes of Honor attendees can expect a range of activities including military and bald eagle flyovers, a patriot parachute team, reunions, a resource expo, a Sunday demonstration ride, keynotes from Vietnam-era heroes, lifetime legacy awards, and a sacred remembrance vigil for those killed in action.

Tickets are available to the general public. Vietnam veterans and their spouses can register for free tickets. Active military and other veterans, their spouses, and any children 12 and under can also register for free tickets, according to the event’s details.
