Comedian Pete Davidson is the next performer headed to space, Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin announced.

“#NewShepard mission #NS20 will include Marty Allen, @NBCSNL’s Pete Davidson, @SharonHagle, Marc Hagle,
@JimKitchen, and @DrGeorgeNield,” a tweet from rocket company read Monday, reported the “Today” show.

“Liftoff on March 23 is targeted for 8:30 am CDT / 13:30 UTC from Launch Site One,” it added, along with a link about the flight.

A message on the company’s website explained how each “astronaut on board NS-20 will carry a postcard to space on behalf of Blue Origin’s foundation, Club for the Future, whose Postcards to Space program gives students access to space on Blue Origin’s rockets.”

“The Club’s mission is to inspire future generations to pursue careers in STEM for the benefit of Earth,” it added.

The crew takes off March 23 and the whole thing can be watched via a live stream here. During these flights, the crew gets to experience life as an astronaut for a brief spell which includes “four minutes of weightlessness,” reported the “Today” show.

The 28-year-old “Saturday Night Live” star is the latest actor to travel to space following legendary “Star Trek” star and sci-fi giant William Shatner. The 90-year-old TV and movie star made history in October when he became the oldest person to reach space after taking a ride with the flight company.

After Shatner touched back down on earth he was noticeable moved by the opportunity as he reflected on life and death, calling it “unbelievable,” reported Sky News at the time.

Ahead of his flight to space, the actor shared he was going to be a rocket man as he announced he would be traveling on board one of Bezos’ rockets.

“So now I can say something,” the actor tweeted to his millions of followers in October. “Yes, it’s true; I’m going to be a ‘rocket man!'”

“It’s never too late to experience new things,” he tweeted out a short time later in a message to “Seinfeld” actor Jason Alexander, who asked about the flight.
