Climate Group Raising Money To Carve Trump’s Face Onto Glacier

   DailyWire.com

A non-profit climate group in Finland is trying to raise half a million dollars so it can carve President Donald Trump’s face onto an iceberg.

Dubbed “Project Trumpmore,” the group, Melting Ice, plans the 115-foot high, 65-foot wide carving for an iceberg somewhere in the arctic.

“Global warming is one of the most important issues and topics of today. There are still people who ponder whether it’s a real issue,” Nicolas Prieto, chairman of the Melting Ice, says on group’s website. “We want to build the monument for all of us, so we can see how long the sculpture lasts before melting. Often people only believe something when they see it with their own eyes.”

“If we reach the construction phase, the plan is to build Trumpmore to match the size of the presidents on Mount Rushmore. The execution of the project will be carried out by a world-leading team of Finnish and Mongolian ice sculptors. Estimated building will take four weeks and the process will be documented and broadcast via a live feed,” the group says.

The group hasn’t picked out a location yet — and is soliciting input.

“We are currently searching for a location for the project. The monument will be carved on the melting Arctic glacier, where the effect of global warming is said to be its most concrete.Help us find a location. If you think you know a spot or could help us find a suitable location, let us know!”

Trump has said he’s “not a big believer in man-made climate change.” Critics have also bashed Trump for withdrawing from the Paris climate accord.
