President Donald Trump sent a scathing letter to the World Health Organization late on Monday evening informing them that if there is not “major” changes made in the next 30 days that the U.S. may permanently suspend funding to the organization and may withdraw its membership.

The letter listed many of the WHO’s failings in managing the pandemic and then stated, “Perhaps worse than all these failings is that we know that the World Health Organization could have done so much better. Just a few years ago, under the direction of a different Director-General, the World Health Organization showed the world how much it has to offer.”
