Exclusive video obtained by Austin American-Statesman and KVUE shows confusion inside Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24.
An 18-year-old male shooter, who will not be named per Daily Wire policy, killed 19 students and two teachers at the elementary school.
The footage shows the killer crashing his car before getting out and shooting at people approaching his vehicle, and then directly at the school.
A female teacher is then heard yelling, “The kids are running! Oh my God … Get down! Get in your room! Get in your rooms!”
At 11:33 a.m., the killer enters the Robb Elementary.
Caption on the video tells viewers that the shooter then opened fire inside two classrooms for two and a half minutes, firing more than 100 rounds. This footage has been removed.
At 11:36 a.m., officers are seen inside the school.
Steve McCraw, director of Texas Department of Public Safety, has confirmed that nine officers were inside the building within three minutes of the attack.
“The officers had weapons, the children had none. The officers had body armor, the children had none. The officers had training, the subject had none,” McCraw said.
At least three of the officers rush toward the classrooms, while others hang back. After shots are heard, the officers retreat to another hallway, the video appears to show.
More officers arrive, but at 12:09 p.m., not a single rescue attempt has been made, the video says in a caption.
It is not until 12:50 p.m. until officers breach the classroom and kill the gunman.
