Republican Senator Rand Paul (KY) revealed on Monday at an event in Litchfield, Kentucky, that a man allegedly threatened to chop up him and his family with an ax, leading authorities to issue an arrest warrant for the man.
The Courier Journal reports that the man, who has not been identified yet by authorities, was taken into custody after he allegedly called in the threats to Paul’s Bowling Green office.
