<p>Queen Elizabeth II is currently under medical supervision as she suffers with health issues, Buckingham Palace confirmed Thursday morning.</p>
<p>The Queen, now 96 years old, was officially crowned on June 2, 1953.</p>
<p>“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,&#8221; a spokesperson from Buckingham Palace <a href="https://www.royal.uk/statement-buckingham-palace">said</a>. &#8220;The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”</p>

<p>Social media quickly blew up with well wishes for the queen from people across the globe.</p>
