BREAKING: Corrupt Democrat Corrine Brown Gets PRISON TIME For Fraud Convictions

A Florida federal judge sentenced former Rep. Corrine Brown (D-FL) on Monday to five years in prison for her role in heading a criminal conspiracy to use a fake charity for poor children as her personal slush fund.

In May, a federal jury convicted Brown, 71, of 18 out of the 22 charges filed against her which included fraud, lying on tax returns, and lying on congressional financial disclosure forms, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

Local investigative reporter Paige Kelton with ActionNewsJax broke the news of the sentences handed out to Brown, Brown’s former chief of staff Ronnie Simmons, and the president of the fraudulent charity “One Door for Education,” Carla Wiley.

Kelton reported that the judge sentenced Brown to five years in prison and a three-year supervised release. Simmons is sentenced to “48 months in jail for conspiracy to commit mail/wire fraud & theft of government funds,” Kelton reported, adding, that he will “voluntarily surrender at a later date.” Wiley is sentenced to 21 months in prison, with a three-year supervised release.
