Bob Saget’s widow Kelly Rizzo remembered her late husband on Tuesday in a touching post two years after his death.
In the sweet post on Instagram, Saget’s widow shared a picture of the late “Full House” star and said it “simultaneously feels like a week and an eternity” since his passing.
“I chose this photo of Bob as not only was it the last photo he shared and one of the last texts he sent me, but it perfectly encapsulates how he would want all of us to remember him,” Rizzo wrote. “With his guitar, on a stage, doing what he loved to do…making people laugh…making people happy.”

“I will forever be grateful that I got to share life with this extraordinary person for 6 years,” she added. “What a blessing. And grateful I can look back on endless memories and photos and videos with smiles, laughter, and yes…still tears. It is such a gift I was able to know his complete and all encompassing love and heart.”
“I’m still blown away by the fact that Bob hasn’t faded from all of your hearts in the slightest,” Saget’s widow continued. “It means so very much. Thank you for allowing me to still share Bob and thank you all for continuing to keep his memory alive. Once again, please do as Bob would do and hug your loved ones, hold them tight, and tell them over and over again that you love them.”
Saget’s dear friend and former “Fuller House” co-star Candace Cameron Bure responded to the post with, “Giving extra hugs to everyone today in remembrance of Bob.”

“Twilight” star Taylor Lautner also commented, writing simply “Love you.”
John Stamos’ sister Alaina Stamos also responded to the post and wrote, “Sending you a big hug today. I think about Bob so much and truly miss all the love and support he showed me and my family. As the Greeks say, Memory Eternal.”
Saget and Rizzo tied the knot in 2019 after dating for three years, CNN reported.
The comedian died on January 9, 2022 while still on tour in Florida and was found in his Orlando hotel room. His official cause of death was listed as head trauma, according to a statement from his family shortly after he passed: “The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”
