Buffalo Bills quarterback <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/josh-allen-responds-to-damar-hamlin-body-double-conspiracy-theory" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Josh Allen</a> had a hilarious excuse for not holding the car door open for his actress girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld after a video surfaced from their recent trip to France.
Allen hit back at the online criticism of failing to be a gentleman while the two were out to dinner in Paris, the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/nfl/article-13162011/Bills-Josh-Allens-Paris-Hailee-Steinfeld.html">Daily Mail</a> reported.
&#8220;My pants ripped at dinner&#8230;Didn&#8217;t want cheeks out… I love Paris,&#8221; Allen wrote on <a href="https://x.com/JoshAllenQB/status/1765143521307009522?s=20">X</a> in the post that has since gone viral.
While there&#8217;s no video or pictures of the wardrobe malfunction, paparazzi did <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@starshootinparis/video/7342645711755840801">capture the NFL star</a> rushing out of a car appearing to hold up his pants with some kind of shirt or jacket around his waist. He was then followed by the &#8220;Pitch Perfect 2&#8221; star, who was helped out of the car by another person.

Once the footage surfaced, social media shared their thoughts and basically blasted Allen.
&#8220;Not even hold her hand, or helping her out of the car,&#8221; one fan wrote in the video&#8217;s comments section<a href="https://nypost.com/2024/03/06/sports/josh-allen-has-wardrobe-malfunction-in-paris-with-hailee-steinfeld/">,</a> adding that Allen could &#8220;take some man lessons from Travis Kelce on how to treat your lady.&#8221; Kelce is currently dating pop star Taylor Swift.
Another added, &#8220;Bro didn&#8217;t even help her out or open the door for her.&#8221;
While a third wrote, &#8220;Why didn’t he wait for her?&#8221;
Allen and Steinfeld were first linked together in May 2023. At the time, a source said the relationship was new, &#8220;but they are having fun.&#8221;
In October, the couple finally went <a href="https://people.com/hailee-steinfeld-josh-allen-first-public-appearance-nhl-hockey-game-8357353">public</a> with their romance after being photographed while attending a professional hockey game.

&#8220;They always planned to spend more time together after his season ended,&#8221; the source said. &#8220;Things have been going really well. They&#8217;re both very family-oriented and driven, and they want to protect their relationship and keep it private. They&#8217;ve been on the same page with all of that.&#8221;
