Biden Administration Is A Vivid Illustration Of LGBTQ+ Activism On Steroids

DailyWire.com

The headline was bad enough: “Biden’s Transgender Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levine and Gender Fluid ‘Pup Handler’ Sam Brinton Attend French Ambassador’s Bastille Day Party.” The picture was even worse, featuring these two biological men in women’s clothing. Levine (who is a male but identifies as a female) was wearing a blazer and skirt, while Brinton (who is a male who dresses in drag) was wearing a dress. Keep in mind: they were on official business as representatives of the United States government. I am not making this up.

For those who are unfamiliar with these two individuals, Brinton is the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy, and Levine is Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

It was Brinton who posted the picture on his Instagram account (now unavailable) with this caption: “Week 4 On The Job: Champagne and Celebration with the French Ambassador in his residence for Bastille Day. (But also the amazing opportunity to connect with one of the only other transgender government officials, Admiral Levine – not gonna lie, it felt great to commiserate with a fellow trans person facing the hate.)”

Talk about a picture telling a thousand words. It also provides a snapshot into just how radical the Biden administration is when it comes to LGTBQ+ activism, making President Obama’s lighting up of the White House in rainbow colors in 2015 seem almost tame in comparison.

As for “facing the hate,” I’m sure there are people who have expressed their hostility towards these two presidential appointees.

It is not hate that motivates me to write, though. Not in the least. To the contrary, as a Bible believer, I recognize that Brinton and Levine are created in the image of God and are objects of His redemptive love through the cross. I’m sure that, outside of their trans and drag identities, they have a great deal to be proud of on their resumes.

So, I do not degrade them or despise them as people, and I truly want what is best for them.

However, at the same time, I believe they are defiling the image of God by wearing women’s clothes and identifying as women (each in their own way). Additionally, it is my opinion that as high-level, public appointees of my country, they are an embarrassment, representing a fringe faction of our population. Is this the image we want to present to the world?

These days, unfortunately, the answer seems to be yes.

After all, it was this administration that had the temerity to fly the LGBTQ+ flag at our offices in the Vatican. Talk about brazenness and insensitivity. (For those who might snidely say, “The Vatican is full of closeted gays,” the fact is that the Catholic Church remains one of the strongest international voices speaking out against homosexual practice.)

It is this administration that is campaigning so aggressively for biological boys to compete athletically with biological girls, and to share bathrooms and locker rooms with them.

It is this administration that is pushing preferred gender pronouns on our children in schools.

It is this administration that has declared an annual Transgender Day of Visibility.

And, more to the point here, it is Levine who, as Assistant Health Secretary, has issued reckless statements about transitioning children, most recently on July 18. As reported by Fox, “U.S. Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levine called for laws to ‘support and empower’ youths ‘to get gender affirmation treatment’ on Monday.”

This is where the personal overlaps dangerously with the professional.

As for Brinton’s bizarre proclivities, one more headline will suffice: “It’s Official: Gender Fluid Drag Queen Into Kinks Related to Animal Role-Playing Now Serves in Biden’s Energy Department’s Office of Nuclear Energy.” Was there no one better suited for the job?

Brinton is as out and proud as they come, unashamedly mixing the personal with the professional. For a glaring example, look at the outfit he wore in the picture he posted on Twitter announcing his new job. How do you like those high heel shoes replete with stars and stripes?

This kink-loving drag queen also wrote this: “. . . I lead a staff of hundreds and a budget of millions (with a Nuclear Waste Fund I’m responsible for at over $45 billion) as the leader of the office overseeing the management of the nation’s spent nuclear fuel.”

Am I the only who doesn’t find that comforting?

Of course, Brinton and Levine are not the only prominent members of the Biden administration who are openly LGBTQ+.

The president’s new press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, is a lesbian whose partner is CNN’s National Correspondent Suzanne Malveaux, and they reportedly share a child together. This, not surprisingly, has raised concerns of a potential conflict of interest.

Pete Buttigieg, who is married to his male partner, is our country’s Secretary of Transportation.

In addition, as reported by the LGBTQ Victory Institute, just 100 days into President Biden’s term, “over 200 known LGBTQ people have been appointed to his administration, the most in history at this point in any administration.”

It is little wonder, then, that even Hillary Clinton, herself a longtime LGBT advocate, did not dispute the statement from the interviewer who said, “Democrats seem to be going out of their way to lose elections by elevating activist causes, notably the transgender debate, which are relevant only to a small minority. What sense does it make to depict JK Rowling as a fascist?”

The answer is that this makes no sense at all. It is not political pragmatism that is driving this agenda, but rather a radical agenda that has pushed political pragmatism aside – and we’re not even halfway through the term.
