Bernie Sanders’ wife Jane, the same woman who as president of Burlington College took out $10 million in loans on behalf of the college which it couldn’t repay, but still managed to get a $200,000 severance package for herself one year later, has decided that the United States’ electoral system should be modeled after Iran’s.

The supposed “moderate” candidate that “won with ease” was President Hassan Rouhani, who was reelected after having served as president since 2013.
And just how “moderate” is Rouhani?
Just before he was inaugurated in 29013, Rouhani had this to say about Israel: “The Zionist regime has been a wound on the body of the Islamic world for years and the wound should be removed.”
In October 2015, Foreign Policy noted, “It has been a bumper year for capital punishment in Iran. Tehran hanged at least 694 people between Jan. 1 and Sept. 15, the highest rate of executions in the Islamic Republic in some 25 years, according to a report released Tuesday by a U.N. human rights monitor.”
In 2015 Rouhani blustered, “The slogan ‘Death to America’ is backed by reason and wisdom. It goes without saying that the slogan does not mean death to the American nation; this slogan means death to the United States policies, death to arrogance.”
