Megyn Kelly put Jen Psaki on blast after she and President Joe Biden “openly” condemned border agents accused of whipping migrants and then refused to apologize when the investigation led to no charges.
The host of Sirius XM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast took to Twitter Tuesday and responded to a video that included Fox News’ Peter Doocy attempting to get an answer from the White House press secretary about when the president would apologize for saying the agents were “whipping people” after an investigation resulted in no “criminal charges” against them.
Instead of answering, Psaki just kept referring the reporter to the Department of Homeland Security and wouldn’t comment, stating that the department would announce “any conclusion of the investigation.” When pressed further by the Fox reporter if she would personally apologize for accusing “the officers of brutal and inappropriate measures,” she again repeated the line that the Department of Homeland Security would announce the results of the investigation. And said after that she’s sure “we’ll have a comment.”
“So it’s inappropriate to comment when there’s an investigation?” Kelly wrote to her millions of followers on social media. “Then why the hell did you and your boss openly condemn these guys in September WHEN THERE WAS AN INVESTIGATION?”
“Apologize, own up to it, beg forgiveness,” she added. “Done.”

The “whipping” claim started after a photo surfaced of border agents on horseback near Haitian migrants running away.
The photographer who took the shot, Paul Ratje, said he “never” saw any Customs and Border Patrol agents “whip anyone.
“Some of the Haitian men started running, trying to go around the horses,” Ratje told KTSM at the time.
“I’ve never seen them whip anyone,” Ratje added. “He was swinging it, but it can be misconstrued when you’re looking at the picture.”

Despite the photographer’s statement, talking heads on mainstream media — and even the president — were quick to call the actions “horrible” and vowed that there would be “consequences.”
“I take responsibility,” Biden shared at the time, as previously reported by The Daily Wire.”It was horrible to see, to see people treated like they did, with horses nearly running them over. People being strapped. It’s outrageous … I promise you those people will pay. They will be investigated. There will be consequences.”
“I think the president wanted to make clear to people who watched those photos, who had understandably emotional responses, that that’s not acceptable to him, even while the investigation is being — is being — is happening and moving forward,”Psaki added at the time. “That will determine what the consequences will look like.”
