<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Legendary recording artist Barry Manilow revealed that he’s been diagnosed with lung cancer and will need to reschedule some of his upcoming concerts.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 82-year-old “Copacabana” singer gave an update to fans with a statement posted to Instagram.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;The MRI discovered a cancerous spot on my left lung that needs to be removed,&#8221; Manilow wrote in the statement.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;It&#8217;s pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early,&#8221; he went on. &#8220;The doctors do not believe it has spread, and I&#8217;m taking tests to confirm their diagnosis.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The singer said he is &#8220;going into surgery to have the spot removed,&#8221; which means he’ll have to reschedule the January shows on his “Christmas: A Gift of Love” series. He promised to return to the stage on Valentine’s Day weekend in 2026.</span></p>
