Anthony Scaramucci Finally Gets a New Job: Co-Host Of The View

   DailyWire.com

Anthony Scaramucci hasn’t been pontificating from the Press Secretary podium for more than a month, but he’ll get a second chance to address the nation when he sits down at The View‘s chat table next Friday.

According to a release from ABC, Scaramucci (or, “The Mooch”) will sit down with the ladies on September 22 for a chat fest as part of the show’s “Guy Fridays,” where the all-female hosting crew welcomes a man to the table to help them analyze “hot topics,” with all the wit and wisdom a daytime talk show can muster.

The Mooch himself is pretty pumped, and he’ll have plenty to talk about. Over the last week, he’s been relentlessly teasing a new project he calls “The Scaramucci Post” on Twitter, which many in the media presume is his new venture into political commentary (the Scaramucci Post’s Twitter account only has a handful of followers so far, though, including the Mooch himself).

And reports surfaced Thursday that Scaramucci was filing a court order contesting the paternity of his newborn son, who was born just days before Scaramucci left the White House, during his tumultuous ten-day run as Communications Director. His estranged wife Deirdre is, the New York Post says, horrified by the allegation. The two are in the midst of a contentious divorce, and battling for custody of a 4-year-old son they have together.

But while he may be thrilled, some of his female co-hosts are reportedly groaning at the prospect of having to share a table with the former Trump spokesman.

Whoopi Goldberg, The View‘s resident “moderator” said she was glad she’d be absent the day he arrives. “Speaking of Mooches…he’ll be here next Friday. Ohhhhhh I’m gonna miss him,” Goldberg told the audience during Thursday’s broadcast.

Resident shrill leftist Joy Behar has mixed feelings. She doesn’t like Scaramucci’s former boss, but she says that he’s a font of useful information, and that she’s been instrumental in booking him for the chat fest.

“I did speak to him,” she to the New York Post just days after the Mooch was fired. “I was trying to get him on the show. We’re Paesans together, so I called him, and we had a very interesting conversation. Unfortunately, he learned from the New Yorker interview how to say the words ‘off the record,’ so I can’t tell you too much. Also, I’m under FBI surveillance at this point. We had a great conversation, very juicy information — but I can’t say it.”

Will he say anything interesting? We all may have to gird our loins and tune in to find out.
