Rapper Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), whose real name is Colson Baker, and actress Megan Fox are quickly becoming the Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson of the next generation.

This over-the-top couple isn’t shy about sharing their extreme attraction to each other and engaging in explicit PDAs. And now they’re declaring how they drank each other’s blood to celebrate their engagement.

“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree,” Fox wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”

“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him,” she continued. “And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.…and then we drank each other’s blood. 1.11.22 ✨.”

MGK and Fox started dating about one year ago just after they met on the set of “Midnight in the Switchgrass.” Ever since, they’ve been inseparable and expressive about proclaiming their love. Previously, MGK shared that he wore a vial with Fox’s blood in it to keep him company while she was away.

The “Jennifer’s Body” star discussed how she had a premonition about how filming with MGK would change her life. “I was like, ‘Who is going to play this role?’ And [director Randall Emmett] was like, ‘Oh, we just got Machine Gun Kelly,’ and immediately, I was like, ‘Uh oh,'” Fox explained during a podcast interview, according to People.

“Because I knew, I could feel that some wild s*** was going to happen to me from that meeting but I wasn’t yet sure what. I just felt it like, deep in my soul—that something was going to come from that.”

She later described their bond as being a “twin flame” rather than a soul mate. “[We’re] actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away,” the actress said.

Fox was previously married to fellow actor Brian Austin Green. The pair filed for divorce in 2020 after being separated since 2019, the same year Fox hooked up with her new flame. Fox and Green share three children together. MGK was never married but has one 12-year-old daughter.

The rapper’s Instagram post announcing the engagement discussed the ring and the couple’s love for each other.

“‘Yes, in this life and every life’ 💍 beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me,” MGK wrote.

“I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022 ✨.”
