Popular &#8220;America&#8217;s Got Talent&#8221; contestant Jane Marczewski, known as &#8220;Nightbirde&#8221; on the show, has passed away at the age of 31 several years after being diagnosed with cancer.
Marczewski died on February 19, according to a statement from her family.
&#8220;We, her family, are devastated by her passing and unimaginable loss,&#8221; they wrote in a statement to &#8220;Today.&#8221;
&#8220;Those who knew her enjoyed her larger-than-life personality and sense of humor. She had a witty joke for every occasion — even if the joke was on her. Her lasting legacy will be the gift of hope she gave to so many through her music and the strength she found in Jesus,&#8221; the statement concluded. We thank everyone for their messages of love and support,” the statement added.
Marczewksi was known for winning the Golden Buzzer during the 2021 season of &#8220;America&#8217;s Got Talent.&#8221; She was later forced to drop out of the show due to health concerns.

“Last time I checked, I had some cancer in my lungs, my spine and my liver,” she told the audience in the video. “It’s important that everyone knows I’m so much more than the bad things that happened to me.”
Her song &#8220;It&#8217;s OK&#8221; brought many in the audience to tears, including the judges, who celebrated her performance.
Marczewski&#8217;s cancer did not stop her from releasing a new song to end 2021 before her death. Her &#8220;New Year&#8217;s Eve The Remix&#8221; single was a top single on the iTunes pop charts to finish the year.
