AGAIN: College Hate-Crime Hoax Exposed

   DailyWire.com

A college in Northfield, Minnesota, was the site of a a recent “hate-crime” hoax.

About a week ago, a black female student named Samantha Wells at St. Olaf College alleged that a threatening note — using the “n-word” — had been placed on her car. The note read:

I am so glad that you are leaving soon. One less [n-word] that this school has to deal with. You have spoken up too much. You will change nothing. Shut up or I will shut you up.

The school’s president has since described the note as “not a genuine threat,” following an investigation.

In a campus-wide email, the school’s president claimed to have identified a person of interest “who confessed to writing the note,” adding that the school’s administration had “confirmed that this was not a genuine threat” and is “confident that there is no ongoing threat from this incident to individuals or the community as a whole.”

The person of interest was not identified by the school’s president, who cited “federal student privacy laws.”

The alleged “hate-filled act” led to the shutting down of classes for a day as a group of student agitators protested against “institutional racism.” The agitators also placed signs across campus with messages such as “I’m sick of white tears” and “F*ck your white complacency.”

The incident gained local noteworthiness, reported by a local Fox affiliate on April 30.

Wells advised The College Fix that she could not comment on the matter for legal reasons, and that the probe into her claim had concluded.
