<p>Attorney General William Barr sounded the alarm to the greatest threat facing the United States on Thursday during a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, saying that few are aware of the repercussions of China&#8217;s rapid advance in trying to dominate the 5G market and control the next generation of internet, the &#8220;Industrial Internet.&#8221;</p>
<p>Barr noted that 5 years ago China launched its “Made in China 2025” plan —  a long term strategic plan to replace the United States as the dominant technological superpower, which has hundreds of billions of dollars in backing from the communist Chinese government.</p>
