Adam Sandler said the advice he’s given to his two daughters if they plan to follow in his footsteps and have a career in Hollywood is to “judge yourself” alone.

During the premiere of his new animated Netflix film, “Leo,” on Sunday, the 57-year-old actor posed for photos surrounded by daughters, 17-year-old Sadie and 15-year-old Sunny, and wife Jackie, all of whom worked on the movie.

“I tell them to make sure you feel good about what you do and how hard you worked, and you judge yourself,” Sandler told People magazine about the career advice. “Don’t let too many people try to get in your head. If you feel like you gave it your all, that’s all you can ask.”

The “Grown Ups” star talked about getting to work with his family again. They appeared in his last film earlier this year called, “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.”

“[It’s] always fun to be with my family,” Sandler said. “It’s kind of what they are thinking about getting into and their passion, and so it’s good to learn with them.”

Sandler seemed to hint that his family could appear with him again in another upcoming project.

“You never know, but we had a great time at that bat mitzvah movie,” he said. “And this one, we started doing this four years ago, and they grew up a little bit while doing this movie, so it’s been really nice.”

Sandler’s daughters have spent years working on projects with him, with more than 20 professional acting credits. Most are from appearing in their father’s movies such as “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan,” “Bedtime Stories,” and “Grown Ups.”

Adam and Jackie first met on the set of his 1999 comedy “Big Daddy” and worked together on several other projects, including “Little Nicky” (2000) and “Eight Crazy Nights” (2002). They tied the knot in 2003.
