Acosta Makes Excuse For ‘F**k You’ Message, Gets Ridiculed

   DailyWire.com

CNN’s Jim Acosta came up with an excuse late on Thursday night after a nasty message that he sent to a former Trump administration official went viral.

Justin Caporale, a former official for First Lady Melania Trump, teased Acosta in a tweet that said, “Dear Diary” — a term that is often used on Twitter to make fun of Acosta.

Acosta responded by sending Caporale a direct message verified by The Daily Wire that said, “F–k you.”

Acosta then blocked Caporale so he could not respond back to the message.

After facing a significant amount of backlash, Acosta then came up with an excuse for his actions, writing: “Hey buddy I thought you were an old friend from the campaign days. I’m so sorry. Hope I didn’t offend you. Have a good night and take care.”

A White House official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told The Daily Wire that it was obvious that Acosta was “apologizing because he knows this shines a spotlight on how the media really operates.”

The official noted that if Acosta really thought that Caporale was an “old friend” that it did not make sense for him to block Caporale after sending him the message so he couldn’t respond back.

“Jim knows he took it too far,” the official said, adding that Acosta has made his “contempt for all things Trump very clear.”

Caporale’s “Dear Diary” tweet came in response to a tweet from Acosta where he complained about the music being too loud at President Donald Trump’s rally in Montana.

“Tonight the Trump campaign/WH turned up the music so loud the press risers were vibrating,” Acosta complained on Twitter. “Nearly impossible to do live TV. I suppose the WH loves those kinds of shenanigans. But I wonder if it’s a security concern for USSS or local law enforcement. They can’t hear either.”

The most hilarious part of Acosta’s latest emotional outburst was that he complained about rapper Kanye West using the f-word in the Oval Office last week.

Caporale tagged CNN’s PR department in one of his tweets and asked them if they approved of Acosta’s behavior, although it doesn’t appear that they have issued a statement about Acosta’s actions. CNN’s PR department normally ignores requests for comment any time one of their employees acts inappropriately, which seems to happen at CNN more often than other news networks.
