ABC News’ “Nightline” made an announcement about President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee on Monday night before the pick had even been announced, calling the unknown nominee “controversial.”
ABC News description of the nominee being “controversial” comes before the 9 p.m. announcement as the Trump administration has kept the identity of the nominee under tight wraps.
The tweet from ABC News drew widespread criticism for its obvious bias:
Trump is set to make the 9 p.m. announcement at the White House where he is expected to choose between four finalists: D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh; 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Thomas Hardiman; 7th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Amy Coney Barrett; and 6th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Raymond Kethledge.
