Former President Barack Obama attacked President Donald Trump on Friday in an attempt to help the Democrats in the 2018 midterms, smirking as he suggested that Trump has not done anything to condemn "Nazis."

"We’re supposed to stand up to bullies," Obama said. "Not follow them. We’re supposed to stand up to discrimination, and we’re sure as heck supposed to stand up clearly and unequivocally to Nazi sympathizers."

"How hard can that be? Saying that Nazis are bad," Obama continued.

Not long after Obama utilized Nazis in his attack on Trump, U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell responded with a tweet, writing: "Fact check: Donald Trump kicked the Nazi out of NYC after 14 years and multiple Presidents allowed him to stay."

"The Nazis killed 6 million Jews," Grenell told The Daily Wire. "No one should ever joke about this horrific part of history."

Grenell was referring to the Trump administration arresting "95-year-old Jakiw Palij — the last known Nazi collaborator living in the United States — at his home in Queens, New York," last month and having Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deport him to Germany.

ABC News reported that "Trump told U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell to make Palij's deportation his number one priority when he got to Berlin."

Robert J. O'Neill, the Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin Laden, also took a swipe at Obama:
