According to a report from Luke Rosiak at The Daily Caller News Foundation, former Democratic National Committee (DNC) head Debbie Wasserman Schultz lost her mind on House officials in an attempt to kill an investigation into Imran Awan, her IT aide at the time.
In her pursuit, Wasserman Schultz reportedly made the "rounds" to House officials, cursed the House chief administrative officer, and leveled a veiled threat.
As noted by The Daily Caller News Foundation, a House Office of Inspector General cybersecurity investigation uncovered that Wasserman Schultz's then-IT man "made 'unauthorized access' to House servers, including the House Democratic Caucus’ shortly before the election." When the Democrat heard of the news, she became "frantic, not normal," and began "making the rounds" to House officials in her quest to kill the investigation, a House employee told the outlet.
And the congresswoman didn't stop there. Determined to stop the digging, Wasserman Schultz allegedly screamed at House Chief Administrative Officer Phil Kiko, calling him a "f***ing Islamophobe" and telling him he "will not so much as take away their parking spots," two House employees claim Kiko told them.
House sources told The Daily Caller News Foundation that Wasserman Schultz apparently became "fixated" on knowing all the details investigators knew about Awan. "House investigators briefed her extensively with significant evidence about Awan and his family, including improper computer evidence," says the report.
Further, Wasserman Schultz allegedly told Mr. Kiko that she had "helped" Awan "with a land deal." She also apparently invited the IT employee and his whole family to her daughter's bat mitzvah.
