On Thursday, the New York Police Department issued an arrest warrant for MMA star Conor McGregor after he went on a destructive rampage at the Barclays Center.
According to Ariel Helwani, an MMA reporter, "Conor McGregor and members of his team showed up at the Barclays Center at the very end of media day moments ago. There was an altercation with some of the departing fighters who are competing on the card."
Conor initially exploded after UFC President Dana White said Wednesday that McGregor was being stripped of his championship belt.
Following the incident where McGregor appeared to attack a bus, which led to at least one person suffering injuries, White commented on the arrest warrant issued for McGregor.
“There is a warrant out for Conor McGregor’s arrest … [the police] are looking for him,” White said. “He’s gonna be sued beyond belief. This was a real bad career move by him.”
