$28,500 Was Deposited Into Syed Farook’s Bank Account Before The Attack

Exactly $28,500 was deposited into Islamic terrorist Syed Farook’s bank account nearly two weeks prior to the deadly attack in San Bernardino, according to Fox News. The deposit was made via WebBank.com on (or close to) Nov. 18. As the FBI continues its rigorous investigation, details continue to emerge about the trajectory of the terrorists’ activities leading up to the massacre.

“Investigators are exploring whether the transaction was a loan taken out by Farook, who with his wife killed 14 and wounded 21 when they opened fire at a holiday lunch,” reports Fox. “Investigators are also exploring the possibility that a subsequent cash withdrawal was used to reimburse Enrique Marquez, the man who bought the two AR-15 semiautomatic rifles used in the San Bernardino shootings. Marquez, who could be charged, especially if it is determined that he illegally modified the weapons, is now reportedly answering investigators’ questions.”

Farook allegedly made a cash withdrawal of $10,000 prior to the militarized assault on the San Bernardino disabled center.

The FBI has also been questioning Farook’s mother, a seemingly-devout Muslim that lived in the same apartment where her son and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, compiled dozens of pipe bombs, explosive devices, tactical gear, high power ammunition, and firearms.

Although the Farook family’s attorneys argue that Farook’s mother had no knowledge of the attack, or its protracted planning stages, investigators appear to be the wiser. In fact, “in the days before the shooting, there were at least three transfers of $5,000 that appear to be to Farook’s mother,” according to Fox.

Wire transfers from unspecified overseas locations and reimbursement for supplies and armament seem to be standard procedure in the jihadist underworld. The planning phase of a jihadist expression of martyrdom takes logistical support. Moreover, the families of shaheeds, or martyrs, may be compensated for their kin’s submission to what they perceive to be the will of Allah.
