The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue got everyone’s attention Monday when it finally released images of the magazine’s multiple 2022 covers, and Kim Kardashian has landed on one of them.

In a post shared on Instagram, Sports Illustrated shared four silhouette cover shots of its annual swimsuit edition and then revealed in a second post that one of those models is the 41-year-old reality star.

The caption next to the post read, “KIM. KARDASHIAN. Yes, you read that correctly. Mogul, sister, friend and damn good mom – #KimKardashian is here to break the internet (again!).”

“You’ve seen Kimmy on every other cover, but SI Swimsuit is a first and we don’t mean to brag, but we’re a bucket list moment for the billionaire entrepreneur,” the message added. “Head to the link in bio to experience Kim like you never have before.”

The magazine has since shared the other three models that made the 2022 cover, including singer Ciara, Elon Musk’s mom Maye Musk (yes, you read that correctly), and Japanese-Dutch recording artist Yumi Nu. Their covers can be seen by clicking the links of their names.

“The journey we’ve been on — to break out of the mold the world put us in — may sound familiar. It’s certainly familiar to the women we’ve chosen to be our cover models: Maye, Ciara, Yumi, Kim,” MJ Day, editor in chief of the SI Swimsuit Issue, shared in a statement to People magazine. “At course, Kim, no stranger to the world’s judgment, continues to live proudly, authentically and unapologetically through the noise.”

For “The Kardashians” star’s cover, she decided to write a letter to her younger self about the journey she’s about to embark on.

“It’s easy to say to just ignore the criticism, but another thing you’ll learn is that at some point it will click in your head that it’s not about you anymore,” Kardashian wrote. “It’s about family. It’s about helping other people. For years you’ll be putting yourself out there… But you’re going to become a more private person and you’re going to come to realize that the way to get your story out there—the actual narrative, the truth—isn’t by engaging but by doing.”

“But know this,” she added. “When you get here, to May 2022, you’re not going to be content. You’re still going to be looking for that next ‘it’…And when you find it, you’re going to do it — we’re going to do it —like we always do: to the fullest.”

Kardashian was previously married to rapper Kanye West and the two share four children together.
