Why Is The Democratic Media Complex Pushing Chelsea Clinton?

Since Donald Trump ascended to the presidency, the media and Democrats are in disarray over how to approach the next four to eight years. While Democrat lawmakers promised to filibuster Neil Gorsuch's nomination for the Supreme Court or threatened to shut down the government over Trump's signature wall, the media started looking for possible leaders of the "resistance" against the Trump administration.

Lately, the press seems fixated on Bill and Hillary Clinton's daughter, Chelsea. The sole child of the former president and the latest Democratic nominee for President, Chelsea represents this generation of Democrats' only hope of continuing the Clintonian dynasty in the White House. Since her mom failed to become the first female President of the United States, the press drools over the potential narrative of her daughter taking the keys to the White House to redeem her family's legacy. It also helps that Chelsea has become more vocal on Twitter, focusing her comments on President Trump and other Republicans since her mother lost the election.

It remains unclear whether Chelsea truly has presidential ambitions. However, she does not make it a secret that she despises both the President and the Republican majorities in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. Even if the press didn't create a narrative that a Chelsea Clinton presidential run was a possibility, she remains fixated on holding the current government in power responsible for any ills as long as people are listening to her.

Nevertheless, the Democratic Media Complex continues to thrust Chelsea down the public's throat and looks prepared to manufacture a candidate who could potentially take on President Trump in 2020. The Complex believes that Chelsea could acquire considerable support from both the party and the press to offset the popularity that Trump acquired that landed him in the White House. It also does not matter that she never held public office or that she remains affiliated with the controversial Clinton Foundation. The press cannot let go of the fact that the Clintonian dynasty diminished on November 8, 2016 when Donald Trump surprised the nation and the world by winning the electoral college over Hillary. For that reason, it continues to elevate Chelsea Clinton when a plurality of the nation already decided that it had experienced enough of the corruption that taints the family name.
