Utah State University has become the fourth college to protect their women’s volleyball team from playing against San Jose State University with a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/transgender" target="_blank" rel="noopener">trans-identifying</a> male on the women&#8217;s team.
On Wednesday, a <a href="https://www.usu.edu/today/story/university-announces-volleyball-schedule-update">statement</a> from the school’s athletic department read, “Utah State University will not participate in its scheduled October 23, 2024, volleyball match at San Jose State University. The University will abide by Mountain West Conference policy regarding how this match is recorded.&#8221;
Former collegiate swimmer and advocate for women&#8217;s sports Riley Gaines praised the move by the school and wrote that it was the “fourth school to forfeit their match against SJSU due to a man playing on the women&#8217;s volleyball team. “It is essential that we preserve a space for women to compete fairly and safely,” he added. “Our female athletes are left grappling with this difficult issue because the NCAA has failed in its responsibility to protect female athletes and women’s sports. It’s time for the NCAA to take this seriously and protect our female student athletes.”

Members of a New Hampshire high school girls&#8217; soccer team refused to play against a team whose star player is a biological male, following a similar move by some universities when it comes to teams with trans-identifying athletes.
On Tuesday, at least five of the girls on the Hillsboro-Deering High School Girls Varsity Soccer team skipped their game against Kearsarge Regional High School where the team’s star player is a male named Maelle Jacques, <a href="https://nhjournal.com/hillsboro-deering-girls-players-refusing-to-take-field-against-male-today/">NHJournal</a> reported.
“This isn’t about transgenderism,” Heather Thyng, the mother of a Hillsboro-Deering player who refused to play, told the outlet. “This is about biology for us and the increased physical risk when playing a full contact sport against the opposing sex.”

“No one ever got near [Maelle,] so I guess they’ll never be in any danger if there’s enough girls to always have a weak team,” Betsy Harrington, another parent said. “If every game has a few girls refusing to play, we will never know the ability of the Kearsarge team. They have an advantage I hadn’t thought about. It’s that they get to always play a crippled team without all of their players.”
&#8220;We believe, my daughter included, that refusing to compete is the best way to push back on this issue, and we are hoping parents will be more willing to put themselves out there knowing they don’t have to be the first or the only family within our community to do so,” Thyng said.
&#8220;The coaches reassured me they told the girls there would be no negative repercussions for anyone who refuses to compete,&#8221; she added. &#8220;They said they understood the increased risk and would be paying attention to the aggressiveness of the game, and if anyone was getting hurt or play was too rough, they were prepared to end the game.&#8221;
Jacques is not only dominating in soccer but also in high school <a href="https://x.com/icons_women/status/1757146082331775460">track and field</a>, taking away the opportunity for a female to be named the girls’ high jump champion when the biological male won first place at the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 2 state championship in February, the outlet noted.

Wyoming is the third school to forfeit its game against the team with the trans-identifying male in order to protect its female players from a serious injury, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/boise-state-womens-volleyball-forfeits-game-to-protect-players-from-trans-opponent-report">reported</a>. 
On Friday, the Boise women’s volleyball team announced that it would forfeit its match over the weekend against SJSU, following Southern Utah, which was the first school to refuse to play against SJSU in a non-conference match as part of the Santa Clara Tournament, OutKick <a href="https://www.outkick.com/sports/wyoming-boise-state-southern-utah-san-jose-state-volleyball-blaire-fleming">noted</a>.
“Boise State volleyball will not play its scheduled match at San José State on Saturday, Sept. 28,” the team said in a statement. “Per Mountain West Conference policy, the Conference will record the match as a forfeit and a loss for Boise State.”
On social media, the team received overwhelming support.
“I applaud @BoiseState for working within the spirit of my Executive Order, the Defending Women’s Sports Act,” Governor Brad Little said. “We need to ensure player safety for all of our female athletes and continue the fight for fairness in women’s sports.”
“Kudos to @BoiseState for taking a stand for women in sports!” Sen. James Risch (R-ID) said. “Idaho’s hardworking, talented female athletes deserve a fair playing field where they can compete and WIN.”

University Women's Team Becomes Latest To Refuse To Play Against Trans-Identifying Male

A Wyoming woman who claimed a 5-year-old girl she was babysitting died after falling down the stairs has been convicted of the child’s murder.
Cheri Marler, 53, was convicted of first-degree murder and child abuse on May 10, the Cowboy State Daily <a href="https://cowboystatedaily.com/2024/05/10/kemmerer-babysitter-guilty-of-beating-5-year-old-girl-to-death/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. The jury took less than 5 hours to return the guilty verdict.
“There isn’t a winner or loser today. Families lives have been changed forever on both sides,” Kemmerer City Police Chief Michael Kahre told the outlet after the verdict was read. “The justice system worked like it is supposed to. I would be lying if I said I was not pleased with today’s verdict. Unfortunately nothing will bring Annabelle back. She is gone. Today’s verdict however brings us justice for her. I am grateful to everyone who did their part to make this trial a success.”
Marler had been babysitting 5-year-old Annabelle Noles and her sister for several weeks when, on November 25, 2022, she called 911 around 3:40 p.m. and reported an unresponsive child, the Star Valley Independent <a href="https://svinews.com/jury-finds-marler-guilty-of-murder-and-child-abuse/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR0AedDD7qG9O1zxZZ3aPBSYTk8ibN3akcwqaKeYi1cWL0tAkKfp_mkceIo_aem_AaiA-dHoqS4AzXLam4P8UzYz7igINgpaskEiIBGwg1dlmOO5HvbgiRzlak9bOaqACqWtIcl9bQU9vDApv_EN2Wvo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. First responders arrived and provided life-saving measures for the girl before she was taken to a local hospital, where she died the next morning as a result of her injuries.
Marler was arrested shortly after Noles died, and told the Kemmerer, Wyoming, police chief that she had slapped and hit the young girl up to 10 times by “clapping” her hands on either side of the girl’s head, the State Daily <a href="https://cowboystatedaily.com/2023/08/23/kemmerer-babysitters-child-murder-trial-delayed-for-surgeries-health-care/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> after reviewing an affidavit in the case. Marler explained to the police chief how she clapped her hands with Noles’ “head in the middle.”
After the attack, Marler said Noles went to lie down, and the babysitter found her unconscious.
Marler also admitted to police that she had beaten Noles with kitchen utensils the day before the clapping attack.
“Eventually, she succumbed to these fatal injuries. Her deep brain injury was a result of blunt force trauma, not just contact injuries,” Dr. Ruiz-Maldonado testified at Marler’s trial, the Uinta County Herald <a href="https://www.uintacountyherald.com/stories/kemmerer-babysitter-found-guilty-of-murder,31461" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
Marler denied harming Noles when she took the stand in her own defense.
In its closing arguments, the defense argued that it had not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Marler had caused the death of Noles. The defense stuck to the claim that the girl had fallen down the stairs, with those injuries causing her death. Noles had a broken back, bleeding in the brain, and had cuts and bruises from new and previous injuries, a doctor testified at her trial.
The defense argued that Noles’ mother was the possible cause of the abuse, as she had a history of drug abuse and had multiple drug charges.
Ultimately, the jury sided with prosecutors and found Marler guilty. She faces up to life in prison without parole or even the death penalty, along with up to 10 years in prison for the child abuse charge. Her sentencing date has not been set.

A group of Republican attorneys general announced a new lawsuit against the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/biden-administration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Biden administration</a> over its changes to Title IX that would expand prohibitions on discrimination to include gender identity.
The 85-page <a href="https://dw-wp-production.imgix.net/2024/05/KS-Title-IX-Complaint-filing-copy.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lawsuit</a>, filed by Kansas, Utah, Alaska, Wyoming, Moms For Liberty, Young America’s Foundation, and Female Athletes United, says that the rule politicizes the education system to “conform to the radical ideological views of the Biden administration and its allies.”
The Education Department, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, the Justice Department, and Attorney General Merrick Garland are all named in the suit. Conservatives have argued that Biden’s changes to Title IX will endanger state laws keeping males out of women’s sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms.
“If Biden has his way, a 16-year-old female high school student on an overnight field trip could be forced to share a hotel room with a biological male who identifies as a girl or the district would risk losing federal funding,” <a href="https://adfmedia.org/press-release/more-states-girls-sue-biden-admin-illegal-attempt-rewrite-title-ix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach. “A 14-year-old girl could be forced to share a locker room and change in front of an 18-year-old man who identifies as a woman or the district could lose funds. It’s unconscionable, it’s dangerous for girls and women, and it’s against federal law.”
During a press conference announcing the suit, Kobach said that there were multiple concerns with the rules, including the intrusion of transgender-identifying males into female spaces, loss of due process for students accused of sexual misconduct, and expansion of benefits for students and school staff for abortions.

“Sports should be free of politics, we’re not injecting politics into sports, we’re keeping politics out because it is a pure, ideological crusade that is driving this attempt to change women’s sports,” Kobach <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/963297708765749">said</a> during a press conference.
The suit argues that Biden’s new guidelines violate federal law, as well as the First, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments.
“This unlawful rule also robs girls and women of their opportunity to participate in their school’s education programs and activities, especially athletics, by forcing them to compete with biological males,” the suit says. “It forces both boys and girls, in their most formative years, to sacrifice their privacy in personal spaces such as restrooms, locker rooms, and even overnight accommodations.”
A number of other Republican officials <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/more-states-file-flurry-of-lawsuits-against-biden-admin-over-transgender-title-ix-rules" target="_blank" rel="noopener">have filed</a> challenges to Biden’s Title IX re-write, including Montana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Idaho, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

Wyoming became the 24th state to ban gender surgeries on children when Republican Governor Mark Gordon signed legislation targeting the life-altering experimental practice into law on Friday.
<a href="https://www.wyoleg.gov/Legislation/2024/SF0099" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Senate File 99</a>, which overwhelmingly passed the state’s House and Senate, prohibits “physicians from performing procedures for children related to gender transitioning and gender reassignment.”
While Gordon signed the bill into law and said he supports protecting children from harmful gender procedures, he added that he was concerned about the government crossing the line into “personal affairs of families,” Wyo4News <a href="https://wyo4news.com/news/gordon-signs-child-gender-change-prohibition-bill-vetos-regulation-of-abortion-bill/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
“I signed SF99 because I support the protections this bill includes for children. However, it is my belief that the government is straying into the personal affairs of families,” Gordon said in a press release, “Our legislature needs to sort out its intentions with regard to parental rights. While it inserts governmental prerogative in some places, it affirms parental rights in others.”
The bill includes exceptions for “Procedures or treatments that are performed with the consent of the child&#8217;s parent or guardian and are for a child who is born with a medically verifiable genetic disorder of sex development” and for “Any procedure or treatment that is performed with the consent of the child&#8217;s parent or guardian and is for a child with medically verifiable central precocious puberty.”
While Gordon passed the bill banning gender procedures on children, the governor vetoed legislation that would have regulated abortion clinics in Wyoming, arguing the bill would be vulnerable to legal challenges, according to Wyo4News.
Beginning in 2022, Republican-led states began banning gender surgeries on minors as more reports of hospitals conducting the procedures began to surface. The wife of Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, has died after a two-year bout with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

The 38-year-old mom said the family has benefited from relocating to Jackson Hole after the chaos that ensued during the summer of 2020, which she said made her feel unsafe in their former location.
&#8220;It&#8217;s made us a lot more hearty,&#8221; Sixx <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/rock-star-nikki-sixxs-wife-says-wyoming-move-was-best-thing-for-family">told</a> Fox News Digital of moving to Wyoming with her rock star husband and their 4-year-old daughter, Ruby. &#8220;I think it&#8217;s really brought out the best versions of ourselves for our whole family. It was just the best thing we could have done.&#8221;
The Bouquet Box co-founder said she was not happy with the crime spike in L.A. following the COVID pandemic.
&#8220;We were really scared sh**less of what was happening during COVID and with the rioting,&#8221; Sixx told the outlet. &#8220;We live outside of LA, and Ruby was not even one. I can say, I know I&#8217;m not alone, that I was like, &#8216;It&#8217;s the apocalypse. What is happening?'&#8221;
&#8220;So at that point — I grew up skiing in Utah. My mom&#8217;s from Utah. I&#8217;m Mormon. I love to ski. And always in the back of my head I thought that one day, maybe we could have a place in the snow, God willing,&#8221; she said.
Sixx specifically mentioned break-ins occurring in her neighborhood, which inspired the family to check out Jackson Hole and rent a house there to try it out. She told Fox News that the decision to move was good for the whole family, especially for Ruby.
&#8220;One thousand percent, we are so excited to be in Wyoming for so many reasons,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I mean, all the obvious ones, that it&#8217;s God&#8217;s country, and it&#8217;s just so gorgeous. But also I think what&#8217;s really important to me  —what I love about it so much is — I wouldn&#8217;t be able to sleep at night if Ruby grew up being entitled and spoiled and with these trust fund babies.”
&#8220;Nothing wrong with that at all,&#8221; Sixx said. &#8220;Nikki and I weren&#8217;t raised like that, and we already, we&#8217;re so blessed. And she&#8217;s so blessed.&#8221;

While Sixx admitted there are wealthy residents in Jackson Hole, she said there is a good mix of income levels and everyone works hard and enjoys the outdoors. She said her daughter has been doing a lot of skiing, horseback riding, and fishing in particular.
&#8220;It&#8217;s totally different just how people treat each other,&#8221; she told the outlet. &#8220;It&#8217;s a small sense of community. And Ruby&#8217;s met incredible women. Just even babysitters that we hire, her teacher — just all of these women. I feel like Wyoming — it&#8217;s not for the faint of heart, right? Especially as a girl, especially as a single girl. These girls that come in, and they&#8217;re working and they hustle. They have multiple jobs, and they&#8217;ll come babysit for a couple of hours, and they&#8217;re going to this restaurant. Then they work at the ski resort.&#8221;
She added, &#8220;It&#8217;s like, it&#8217;s incredible living, but it&#8217;s also you gotta work for it. It&#8217;s not just easy-breezy. And so Ruby&#8217;s really learned how to cowgirl up.&#8221;

Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray submitted an amicus brief on Friday in support of former President Donald Trump’s appeal to the Supreme Court to keep him on the Colorado 2024 presidential primary ballot. 
In the court filing, Gray argued that the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to kick Trump off the ballot was wrongfully decided and unconstitutional. The court ruled that Trump was ineligible under the insurrection clause of the 14th Amendment in December. Gray said that the decision was unprecedented and “outrageously wrong.”
“As Secretaries of State, we must stop the radical Left’s unAmerican and unconstitutional attempts to weaponize the Fourteenth Amendment against Trump and the American People,” he <a href="https://aflegal.org/america-first-legal-stone-hilton-pllc-file-brief-in-the-supreme-court-of-the-united-states-on-behalf-of-the-wyoming-secretary-of-state-chuck-gray-to-defend-president-trumps-eligibility-to/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. “Despite the repeated attacks I have received from the radical left-wing media for my efforts to ensure that Trump will be able to be on the ballot, I will continue to unapologetically defend the truth and ensure that the people of Wyoming can choose who to elect for themselves.”
In the <a href="https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/23/23-719/298133/20240118180130038_23-719_Amicus%20Brief.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">filing</a>, Gray said that he had an interest in the case as the decision disenfranchised millions of voters and harmed voter confidence in elections nationwide, including in Wyoming. The brief says that Trump did not engage in insurrection and or that he gave aid to the enemies of the United States.

The Supreme Court has not yet ruled on Trump’s appeal, but is set to hear arguments on February 8, with Colorado’s primary set to take place on March 5. In a brief filed to the court on Thursday, Trump <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/18/us/trump-supreme-court-ballot-eligibility.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> that “chaos” would be unleashed if the Supreme Court upheld his removal from the ballot. 
“The court should put a swift and decisive end to these ballot-disqualification efforts, which threaten to disenfranchise tens of millions of Americans and which promise to unleash chaos and bedlam if other state courts and state officials follow Colorado’s lead and exclude the likely Republican presidential nominee from their ballots,” his legal team wrote.

“James Bond” actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">Pierce Brosnan</a> pleaded not guilty to walking in a restricted hot spring at <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/yellowstone">Yellowstone</a> National Park. The violation carries a maximum penalty of up to six months in prison. 
According to The Daily Mail, Brosnan entered the plea in a court filing on January 4.
The alleged incident took place in November 2023 when the 70-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">movie star</a> was cited twice over violations at the thermals in the Mammoth Terraces section of the park. A photo allegedly showing Brosnan posing on the snow-encrusted springs was uploaded to a social media account featuring “tourons,” internet slang for tourist morons, per <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12972415/Pierce-Brosnan-Yellowstone-hot-spring-dantes-peak.html">The Daily Mail</a>.

Not only is the restricted hot springs area fragile and prone to damage from the trampling feet of tourists, but they’re also dangerous for Yellowstone visitors. The Daily Mail noted that at least 22 people have died from burns they received from the springs and geysers in the park. 
The water temperatures at Mammoth Terraces&#8217; springs routinely reach 161 degrees, while acid can scald human skin. Federal law instructs park visitors to stay on the designated walkways. Leaving the boardwalk path carries a punishment of up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $5,000.
One woman who violated these rules and got too close to the thermals in 2021 was fined $2,000 and banned from Yellowstone for two years.

The park makes warnings about the thermal springs very clear for visitors. The National Parks <a href="https://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/safety.htm">website</a> has a statement that says these popular attractions “have injured or killed more people in Yellowstone than any other natural feature.” 
“Boardwalks and trails protect you and delicate thermal formations,” a warning on the NPS website read. “Water in hot springs can cause severe or fatal burns, and scalding water underlies most of the thin, breakable crust around hot springs.”
In 2022, a 70-year-old Los Angeles man is suspected to have <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/dead-man-whose-foot-was-found-yellowstone-hot-spring-identified-rcna57806">died in the springs</a> after breaking the rules and leaving the boardwalk path. Il Hun Ro’s foot was found floating in the hot spring, and even though the rest of his body was never recovered, no foul play was suspected.

Two women were removed as alumnae of their sorority after pushing for the sorority to allow only biological women as members.
Patsy Levang and Cheryl Tuck-Smith were expelled from Kappa Kappa Gamma after they supported and fundraised for a lawsuit to remove Artemis Langford, a trans-identifying biological male as a member. The two women had been affiliated with the sorority for 50 years before they were expelled. Levang had previously been a Kappa Kappa Gamma National Foundation president.
&#8220;My heart was saddened when the current six council members voted me out. However, I will not be quiet about the truth,&#8221; Levang <a href="https://www.iwf.org/2023/11/09/kappa-kappa-gamma-sorority-retaliates-against-alumnae-for-standing-up-for-women-revokes-lifetime-membership-after-50-years-of-sisterhood/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in a statement.
Tuck-Smith said she was &#8220;hurt&#8221; by the termination but also &#8220;disturbed&#8221; that the sorority has become &#8220;a political tool rather than an organization that promotes women.&#8221;
“My dismissal simply spurs me on to educate others about the dangers of DEI which in reality does not support diversity, equity and inclusion,” Tuck-Smith said.
The women&#8217;s expulsion was determined by national leadership and is effective immediately, according to the Independent Women&#8217;s Forum, which released a press release about the matter last week.
Allie Coghan, a Kappa Kappa Gamma alumna and a plaintiff in the lawsuit that sought to oust the trans-identifying male member, called the sorority&#8217;s decision &#8220;disappointing.&#8221;

&#8220;It was really disappointing to hear that they&#8217;re being dismissed because this is retaliation against women, and it&#8217;s supposed to be an organization meant for women,&#8221; Coghan <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/women-ousted-sorority-backing-lawsuit-remove-transgender-member" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> Fox News.
&#8220;So to hear that they didn&#8217;t want to see these brave women sticking up for us and supporting us, then, I mean, where are we supposed to go? Where are women supposed to go if a women&#8217;s organization isn&#8217;t going to stick up for itself?&#8221; she added.
The sorority commented on the expulsion but did not provide additional information about the decision.
&#8220;We do not share information publicly about policy violations that may result in disciplinary action,&#8221; Kappa Kappa Gamma said in a statement to Fox News.
Last September, Kappa Kappa Gamma allowed 21-year-old Langford, a biological man who identifies as a woman, to join the sorority&#8217;s University of Wyoming chapter.
This prompted a lawsuit from six female members of the school&#8217;s sorority chapter.
The women sued the national organization in March, <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/university-students-suing-sorority-allowing-trans-member-ordered-reveal-names" target="_blank" rel="noopener">alleging</a> that Langford had &#8220;been voyeuristically peeping on them while they were in intimate situations, and, in at least one occasion, had a visible erection while doing so.&#8221;
However, a federal judge dismissed the case, and the case is now before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/u-s-air-force" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Air Force</a> has requested that Congress pass legislation to stop wind turbines from encroaching on nuclear missile sites throughout the U.S.
According to the Air Force, underground nuclear missile sites in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Colorado need to be shielded from the growing wind turbine industry for safety and security concerns. The Air Force <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/air-force-asks-congress-protect-nuclear-launch-sites-104685988" target="_blank" rel="noopener">says</a> that 46 of the 450 underground nuclear missile sites have been “severely” encroached upon. Some wind turbines can stand 650 feet tall and present a barrier for helicopters carrying technicians or others who need to access the sites.
“When you think about a wind turbine, and even fields of wind turbines, they’ll stretch for miles,” Staff Sgt. Chase Rose, a UH-1 Huey flight engineer at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, told the Associated Press. “They’re monstrous, and then you have gigantic blades spinning on them as well. Not only is that a physical obstacle, but those turbines, they create the hazards like turbulence as well. That can be really dangerous for us to fly into. So it’s a very complex situation, when you have to deal with those.”
The Air Force is advocating for legislation that would mandate a 2-nautical-mile buffer zone around the hundreds of underground missile launch sites throughout the U.S. The Air Force and the American Clean Power Association drafted the legislation.
“The wind industry recognizes the nuclear missile silo mission is unique,&#8221; said American Clean Power Association spokesman Jason Ryan. “However, one-size-fits-all setbacks do not make sense for other [Department of Defense] missions or assets as site-specific and mission-specific evaluations are necessary to ensure military readiness.”

Air Force Maj. Victoria Hight, a spokeswoman for F.E. Warren Air Force Base, said the wind turbines can hamper “safe helicopter transit and nuclear security operations” but that the Air Force supports &#8220;renewable energy efforts to include wind turbines, and we continue to work with energy industry partners to ensure the country’s green energy needs are met.” 

The Biden administration has <a href="https://www.doi.gov/pressreleases/biden-harris-administration-advances-15-onshore-clean-energy-projects-potential-power" target="_blank" rel="noopener">aggressively pushed</a> a “transition” to green energy, including announcing the development of onshore renewable energy projects across the West.
“Investing in clean and reliable renewable energy represents the [Bureau of Land Management&#8217;s] commitment to addressing climate change and supports direction from the President and Congress to permit 25 gigawatts of solar, wind and geothermal production on public lands no later than 2025,” the Bureau of Land Management said on Monday when announcing plans for 15 major projects throughout the West.
