Protesters at the Women&#8217;s March in Washington, D.C., argued that Donald Trump presents a serious threat to women&#8217;s rights and American freedoms — but failed to provide concrete examples of how the president-elect will actually do that.
The Daily Wire attended the Women&#8217;s March on Saturday morning in the nation&#8217;s capital, where thousands of anti-Trump and left-leaning protestors gathered to voice their opinions on a wide variety of topics: Trump himself, abortion, transgender issues, immigration, climate change, and more.
&#8220;I marched in 2017,&#8221; one woman <a href="https://x.com/MaryMargOlohan/status/1880739876418752516">told The Daily Wire</a>, holding a sign that read, &#8220;I can&#8217;t believe I have to do this shit twice.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m mad about a lot of things, but this is really what it boils down to,&#8221; she said, pointing to her sign.
The controversial 2017 protest reportedly drew a million protestors to Washington when Trump first took office, according to organizer estimates at the time. This year, the event drew a much smaller crowd, with multiple outlets estimating that &#8220;thousands&#8221; attended the Women&#8217;s March, rebranded the &#8220;People&#8217;s March,&#8221; to be more inclusive, as protestors explained to The Daily Wire.

&#8220;I identify myself as worshipping Jesus, and I&#8217;m all about the fact that Jesus gave us all brains and hearts so we can care for each other,&#8221; one anti-Trump grandmother told The Daily Wire, saying Trump was &#8220;chaotic&#8221; and attacked women.
Asked what aspect of Trump most concerns her, she replied, holding a giant &#8220;Pussies Against the Patriarchy&#8221; sign above her head: &#8220;The hateful speech that he promotes. It disgusts me for my children and my grandchildren. It&#8217;s disheartening for me as a woman and a person in this country. We should be better than that.&#8221;
The Daily Wire spoke with one female protestor who was elaborately dressed in what she described as a &#8220;vagina dress.&#8221; This protestor shared that she is bothered by the Women&#8217;s March rebranding to be the People&#8217;s March, saying: &#8220;It&#8217;s sort of a trend lately to eliminate the word woman.&#8221;
Pressed to explain more, she suggested that she shouldn&#8217;t talk about the matter since the Women&#8217;s March crowd would be hostile to her words, but briefly said: &#8220;It&#8217;s important to say that word. Also lesbian. Not just LGBTQIA+.&#8221;

Some protestors were handing out papers detailing efforts to combat Trump&#8217;s plans to stop the border crisis.
&#8220;We&#8217;re here to defeat Donald Trump and his fascist movement,&#8221; one male protestor wearing a mask told the Daily Wire. &#8220;Donald Trump has stated that on day one he&#8217;s going to carry out mass deportations and to pardon January 6 rioters and especially, the Laken Riley bill is an immigrant bashing bill that has to be defeated now.&#8221;
Asked if he knew about Laken Riley, a young woman brutally killed by an illegal immigrant, the man laughingly replied: &#8220;I didn&#8217;t retain it&#8230;&#8221;
Pressed about whether he supports measures to protect the United States border from criminals, he replied: &#8220;That has been a really right-wing rhetoric, crimes happen everywhere in the world, and in any community, and to paint a picture that illegal immigrants are coming in to be terrorists and criminals, that&#8217;s just plain racist. We are for open borders, and for citizenship rights for all, with or without papers.&#8221;

Kelly&#8217;s comments were consistent with her recent takedown of the University of Pennsylvania when she called it “a disgrace” that UPenn nominated Lia Thomas, a biological male who identifies as a female, as NCAA &#8220;Woman of the Year,&#8221; as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/this-is-a-disgrace-megyn-kelly-blasts-upenn-for-nominating-lia-thomas-as-ncaa-woman-of-the-year">The Daily Wire</a> previously reported.
&#8220;This is a disgrace,&#8221; the host explained in her <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAoFylJ2wX4">monologue</a>. &#8220;Lia Thomas is not a woman. Lia Thomas is a trans woman who lived the first 20 years of her life as Will Thomas, a man. She only decided to transition in 2020, after swimming three seasons as a middling competitor on the men’s team, ranking in the mid 500s. On the woman&#8217;s team, the very next year, ranked number one.&#8221;
The host laid out her case against the university, noting that UPenn’s biologically female swimmers &#8220;worked hard as young girls to make it in swimming, to make it to Ivy League swimming.&#8221;
&#8220;I mean, not for not nothing, but they swam with growing breasts, growing hips, more fat on their bodies, less upper body strength than their male competitors,&#8221; Kelly pointed out. &#8220;They swam with shorter legs … thinner and weaker muscles than the boys. They swam with periods, and cramps, and bloating.”
She concluded her segment, stating, &#8220;Lia Thomas is not woman of the year. That title belongs to one of the women who dealt with all the physical and emotional challenges and opportunities that come with being an actual woman … Not to a six-foot-three biological man who, within the last two years, declared that he was a woman. Period.&#8221;

On Saturday, The Women&#8217;s March helped organize abortion rights rallies in numerous cities across America. Those who attended were mainly motivated by a leaked opinion draft from the Supreme Court that suggested the high court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade and send the topic of abortion back to the states.
On Sunday, The Women&#8217;s March warned that the nation would soon experience &#8220;a Summer of Rage.&#8221;

Women&#8217;s March officials had made references to a &#8220;summer of rage&#8221; throughout the weekend.
&#8220;For the women of this country, this will be a summer of rage. We will be ungovernable until this government starts working for us, until the attacks on our bodies let up, until the right to an abortion is codified into law,&#8221; Women&#8217;s March President Rachel Carmona <a href="https://theweek.com/abortion-law/1013556/abortion-rights-protests-kick-off-planned-summer-of-rage">told</a> the press.
In response to the group&#8217;s tweet saying that the &#8220;summer of rage&#8221; was &#8220;officially&#8221; beginning, Christina Pushaw, press secretary for Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, advocated calmer language after mass shootings in California and New York.
&#8220;Given the tragic events of this weekend, in Buffalo and California, I’m not sure why anyone would think &#8216;Summer of Rage&#8217; is a good thing,&#8221; Pushaw said. &#8220;We need less rage in this country.&#8221;
Throughout last week, various pro-life pregnancy centers and organizations nationwide reported vandalism and other attacks.
&#8220;Abortion groups nationally have called for large-scale backlash to the momentous news, calling for protesting at the homes of Supreme Court Justices and even in Catholic masse,&#8221; The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/pro-life-pregnancy-centers-are-under-attack">noted</a>. &#8220;Protestors have already shown up to demonstrate at Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s and Chief Justice John Roberts’ homes and have promised to protest at Justice Samuel Alito’s home on Monday evening.&#8221;

WASHINGTON — At a Saturday march rife with profanity, vulgarity, and references to women&#8217;s reproductive organs, thousands of pro-abortion rights protestors assembled in Washington, D.C., to demonstrate against the potential overturn of Roe v. Wade. 
The protestors gathered by the Washington Monument for a rally before marching to the Supreme Court in response to <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2022/05/02/supreme-court-abortion-draft-opinion-00029473">the leak of a draft opinion showing</a> that the Supreme Court had voted to strike down the landmark decision.
The draft, which is not final, says Roe v. Wade was egregiously wrong: “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote. “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
Many of the protestors carried signs drawing on the demonstration&#8217;s theme, &#8220;Bans off our bodies,&#8221; accompanied by some reference to abortions or women&#8217;s reproductive organs. Many of these signs contained some form of vulgarity. Women&#8217;s March and Planned Parenthood helped organize the event.
&#8220;Keep your filthy laws off my silky drawers,&#8221; one sign photographed by The Daily Wire said. &#8220;Motherhood is a choice not a decision by the state,&#8221; said another.
Another sign leaning against the fencing around the Supreme Court read merely, &#8220;I dissent.&#8221;
&#8220;Pitch in!&#8221; read another, depicting the conservative justices in trash cans. &#8220;Put trash in its place.&#8221;
The unprecedented leak has sent shockwaves throughout Washington, with many commentators noting that a draft decision has never been publicly released in the modern history of the court.
Chief Justice John Roberts quickly <a href="https://www.axios.com/justice-roberts-abortion-leak-da48f1b2-087f-4a43-b037-068be226ce2c.html?stream=top&amp;utm_source=alert&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=alerts_all">released</a> a statement following the leak, confirming that the draft document was genuine but emphasizing that it did not represent the Supreme Court’s final decision.
“We at the Court are blessed to have a workforce — permanent employees and law clerks alike — intensely loyal to the institution and dedicated to the rule of law,” the chief justice said.
“This was a singular and egregious breach of that trust that is an affront to the Court and the community of public servants who work here,” he added, noting that he has “directed the Marshal of the Court to launch an investigation into the source of the leak.”

One young woman who said she is a student from Seattle, Washington, told The Daily Wire that she was &#8220;protesting to keep abortions&#8221; safe and to &#8220;federally protect&#8221; Roe v. Wade. She wants to &#8220;keep rights&#8221; for herself and her friends, saying, &#8220;I know people who have almost died from getting unsafe abortions.&#8221;
“I’m not sure,” she said, asked if a mother should be able to abort her baby close to 9 months. “If that’s what she needs that should be ok.”

Another protestor from the Party for Socialism and Liberation said she hoped to make friends with other pro-abortion protestors.
&#8220;We also feel that the Democrats are not doing the job that they have been put into office for,&#8221; she said. &#8220;They&#8217;ve had chances to codify abortion into law. We just want to let people know that there&#8217;s another option.&#8221;

“We have to see an end to the attacks on our bodies,” Rachel O&#8217;Leary Carmon, executive director of the Women&#8217;s March, <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2022/05/14/dc-bans-off-our-bodies-protest/">told The Washington Post</a>. “You can expect for women to be completely ungovernable until this government starts to work for us.”
The Daily Wire observed a few different small groups of pro-life advocates counter-protesting at the event. One man carried a sign that said &#8220;Jesus Saves&#8221; and stood on the street corner calling out, &#8220;I&#8217;m so glad your mother didn&#8217;t abort you!&#8221; to the pro-abortion rights protestors walking by.
His overtures were met with criticism and rebukes from passersby.

WASHINGTON — A pro-life protestor roused the ire of pro-abortion demonstrators Saturday by cheerfully and repeatedly telling them he is glad that their mothers chose not to abort them.
As thousands gathered to join the &#8220;Bans off our Bodies&#8221; rally, largely led by the Women&#8217;s March, the pro-life protestor stood across the street from the Washington Monument and told passersby with a big smile, &#8220;I&#8217;m so glad your mother didn&#8217;t abort you!&#8221;
The Daily Wire observed a man on a scooter yell an obscenity at the pro-life man from across the street, to which the pro-life protestor responded, &#8220;I am SO glad she did. I get to see you, my friend!&#8221;
&#8220;I know your name. Moron,&#8221; said a man who was leaving the protest and appeared to be blind.
&#8220;Hey, I&#8217;m glad your mother didn&#8217;t abort you,&#8221; the pro-life protestor said cheerfully. The man responded, &#8220;That was her choice, you dumb f*ck.&#8221;

Later on in the afternoon the pro-life man made his way up to the Supreme Court where he continued to tell pro-abortion protestors that he was glad that their mothers didn&#8217;t abort them and that Jesus would save them, prompting the crowd to become angry and shout at him.
Video footage captured by The Daily Caller News Foundation&#8217;s Kendall Tietz shows the pro-life protestor surrounded by pro-abortion protestors, who repeatedly yell at him, &#8220;Go home! Go home! Go home!&#8221;
&#8220;Louder,&#8221; he responded to their chants, holding his sign higher in the air and jumping. &#8220;Jesus saves! Jesus saves! Jesus loves you. I&#8217;m so happy your mom didn&#8217;t abort you.&#8221;
&#8220;Take your faith and shove it,&#8221; the crowd angrily responded.

The Women’s March wants Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas impeached… for texts his wife sent.
The latest attempt by Leftists to bring down Thomas involve texts his wife, Ginni, sent to then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows following the 2020 presidential election. The 29 text messages were obtained by <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/03/24/virginia-thomas-mark-meadows-texts/">The Washington Post</a> and <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/virginia-ginni-thomas-clarence-wife-mark-meadows-texts-2020-election/">CBS News</a> last week and show that Ginni implored Meadows to continue investigating the results of the presidential election.
“Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!!&#8221; Ginni reportedly said in one text. &#8220;You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America’s constitutional governance at the precipice. The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History.&#8221;
“This is a fight of good versus evil,” Meadows reportedly wrote to Thomas on November 24. “Evil always looks like the victor until the King of Kings triumphs. Do not grow weary in well doing. The fight continues. I have staked my career on it. Well at least my time in DC on it.”
In January 2022, the Supreme Court blocked an attempt by former President Donald Trump to keep records from the House January 6 committee, which is investigating the riot that took place on that date in 2021 at the U.S. Capitol. Thomas was the only Justice to side with Trump on the issue, and the Women’s March is now using that to claim he needs to be impeached for his wife’s advocacy.
&#8220;The revelations that Ginni Thomas advocated for the overthrow of our democracy are disqualifying — not just for her as a human being of any decency, but for her husband Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas,&#8221; Women&#8217;s March executive director Rachel O&#8217; Leary Carmona <a href="https://twitter.com/jbendery/status/1507382730895597586">said in a statement</a> posted to Twitter.
&#8220;From the day he was nominated to the Court, Thomas has always acted less like a reasonable jurist and more like his wife — that is to say a professional conservative activist,&#8221; she added. &#8220;He is hopelessly compromised, conflicted, and corrupt, and he must be impeached IMMEDIATELY.&#8221;
This is simply the latest attack on Justice Thomas over his wife’s political advocacy. Earlier this month, The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/media-claims-ginni-thomas-was-agitating-about-trumps-election-loss-on-a-listserv-thats-not-what-happened">reported</a> on another attack against the Supreme Court Justice, this time involving a misreported article claiming Ginni was “agitating” on a listserv and had to issue an apology after members complained.
The truth, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2022/03/03/media-smeared-clarence-thomass-wife-for-agitating-on-a-listserv-heres-the-sweet-thing-she-actually-said/">according to</a> Mark Paoletta at The Federalist, is far from what the media outlets claimed and is yet another attack on Ginni because of her husband. Paoletta, a member of the listserv in question, wrote that it is a collection of current and former clerks of Justice Thomas and was created by Ginni after a former clerk died. It was intended as a way for the “extended Thomas family” to keep in touch and update each other on their lives.
But Mayer, whose work often includes accusations with little support or that strain credulity (she is one of the authors <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/allegations-new-kavanaugh-accuser-was-so-dicey-joseph-curl">behind</a> the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/10-serious-problems-new-accusations-against-ryan-saavedra">dubious</a> Deborah Ramirez allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh), created a story in which Ginni complained to the private listserv about former President Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss. Her complaints, according to Mayer and the Times, disgruntled some other members of the listserv and Ginni eventually apologized.
As Paoletta tells it, what Ginni actually did was “exemplary,” but the media “distorts it beyond all recognition into something nefarious and unethical.”
Here’s what actually happened in the distorted conversation, according to Paoletta:
<blockquote>First, it is completely false that Ginni Thomas was “agitating about Trump’s loss.” In fact, Ginni sent an email on Dec. 19 to the listserv with a general update on life, and added, “Since early November, I have been on sabbatical from my politics and meetings, postings and all – which is new and super challenging for me, but makes sense until our national election is more resolved.”
After one clerk sent an email on Jan. 17 providing an article critical of the Jan. 6 events, Ginni Thomas sent a separate email on Jan. 18 that began with a heartfelt apology to the clerk family: “I owe you all an apology. I have likely imposed on you my lifetime passions. My passions and beliefs are likely shared with the bulk of you, but certainly not all. And sometimes the smallest matters can divide loved ones for too long. Let’s pledge to not let politics divide THIS family… what we have together supersedes any one of your politics, including mine.” Aside from this email, Ginni Thomas did not send any other emails on this listserv about Trump’s loss.</blockquote>

The verified Women’s March account on Twitter published a tweet lamenting the amount of student debt held by women, but misstated the math in the tweet.
“Women hold $929 BILLION in student debt, two-thirds of the nation’s ENTIRE $1.7 trillion student debt load,” the Women’s March tweeted. “This is a gender justice issue. <a href="https://twitter.com/POTUS">@POTUS</a> cancel student debt and put an end to this crisis.”
To start, $929 billion is 54.6% of $1.7 trillion, closer to half than two-thirds.
The implications from the Women’s March are also wrong. The tweet and the group’s history of claiming women victimhood suggest it is unfair that women hold so much debt. In reality, women are doing better than men when it comes to college debt. Women make up 59.5% of all college students as of spring 2021, The Wall Street Journal <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/college-university-fall-higher-education-men-women-enrollment-admissions-back-to-school-11630948233">reported</a>, while men made up just 40.5% of enrollment.
This means that while women make up 59.5% of students, they hold just 54.6% of the debt, while men – who make up just 40.5% of students – hold 45.4% of the debt.
There are reasons for this discrepancy, which I <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/womens-group-complains-about-women-holding-most-ashe-schow">wrote about</a> three years ago when the embattled #MeToo organization Time’s Up made a similar claim to the one being made by the Women’s March now.
Women may earn more degrees than men, but they’re still earning degrees that lead to lower-paying jobs after college. As I’ve reported numerous times before, nine of the top 10 lowest paying majors are dominated by women, while nine of the top 10 highest paying majors are dominated by men — and women in large cities actually out-earn their male peers just out of college.
A recent <a href="https://www.aei.org/carpe-diem/2021-update-for-every-100-girls-part-i/">chart</a> from American Enterprise Institute scholar Mark Perry goes even deeper into the discrepancies between men and women in numerous aspects in life. Perry found that for every 100 women who earn a bachelor’s degree, just 73 men earn one. And for every 100 women who earn a master’s degree, just 56 men earn one. The numbers are slightly closer for doctorates: For every 100 women who earn one, 85 men do.
There’s a deeper issue with the Women’s March tweet, which goes to the issue of canceling student debt. In 2019, The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh listed <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/walsh-six-reasons-why-student-loan-forgiveness-matt-walsh">six reasons</a> why student loan forgiveness is a financially and morally bad idea. One reason why canceling student debt would be a bad idea is because it would allow colleges and universities to continue increasing their prices without improving educational outcomes, as the National Review noted years ago:
<blockquote>In inflation-adjusted terms, government spending on higher education has never been higher. In has climbed by nearly $2,000 per student (in inflation-adjusted dollars) since 2001. As the Foundation for Economic Education points out, Pell Grant spending alone rose 72 percent in the few short years from 2008 to 2013. Tuition and other expenses have risen right along with that spending, driven mainly by an explosion in administrative costs. In the 1980s, there were about twice as many professors as administrators on our college payrolls; today, that number has been reversed, and there are about twice as many administrators and staff as instructors. Administrative spending has increased substantially relative to spending on instruction — and both are much higher in real per-student terms.</blockquote>
Canceling that student debt wouldn’t mean the money evaporates into thin air; the cost would be pushed onto people who didn’t agree to pay back a loan and then complain about the cost, such as working-class Americans who didn’t go to college because they couldn’t afford it. It would also be pushed on to the millions who repaid their own student debt.
As Walsh noted, “nobody forced anyone to take out these loans”:
<blockquote>If you have student debt, you agreed to it. You signed on the dotted line. You made a legal arrangement. It does not make moral or logical sense for a third party to enter the picture and say, “You don’t have to fulfill your obligations and keep your promises.” I know we are way past worrying about silly things like the Constitution, but how does the State even have the Constitutional right to appropriate funds from one citizen in order to fulfill the financial obligations of another?</blockquote>
Walsh also noted that the arguments for canceling student debt could also apply to mortgage, car, credit card, or other debt.
“If you’re struggling with student debt and you’re handed a get-out-of-jail-free card, and I didn’t go to college but I’m struggling to pay my mortgage, should I not be offered the same deal? If your debt is a public emergency, why isn’t my debt also an emergency?” Walsh wrote.

Women’s March Gets Mocked After Apologizing For Connecting Donations To ‘A Year Of Colonization’

Last week, the Biden administration announced that — in line with prior administrations — they would be embracing the IHRA’s definition of anti-Semitism.
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) have a “<a href="https://www.holocaustremembrance.com/resources/working-definitions-charters/working-definition-antisemitism">working definition</a>” of anti-Semitism:
<blockquote>“Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”</blockquote>
To guide its work, they provide a list of examples which “may serve as illustrations.”
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.</li>

This definition has been adopted or endorsed by multiple countries and organizations across the world, including the United States (since December 2019), United Kingdom (since December 2016), and Germany (since September 2017). The United Nations and European Union have also “expressed support” for the IHRA’s working definition.
Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, Kara McDonald, <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/biden-admin-embraces-ihra-anti-semitism-definition-shunned-by-progressives/">announced</a> the Biden administration’s decision, saying “As prior US administrations of both political stripes have done, the Biden Administration embraces and champions the [IHRA’s] working definition [of anti-Semitism]. We applaud the growing number of countries and international bodies that apply it. We urge all that haven’t done so to do likewise.”
Speaking to an Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe meeting, McDonald also said, “We must educate ourselves and our communities to recognize anti-Semitism in its many forms, so that we can call hate by its proper name and take effective action. That is why the IHRA working definition of anti-Semitism, with its real-world examples, is such an invaluable tool.״
However, if the Biden administration truly wishes to “recognize anti-Semitism in its many forms,” and “take effective action,” they should explain why multiple prominent anti-Semitic Democrats and Leftist organizations have yet to be condemned by Biden or the Democratic party.
Ilhan Omar
Voted as 2019’s biggest anti-Semite by StopAntisemitism.org, Omar has a consistent history of peddling anti-Semitic rhetoric. She has accused American Jews of possessing <a href="https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/03/ilhan-omars-dual-loyalty-charge-was-anti-semitic/584314/">dual loyalty</a>, alleged that Jews buy their influence with <a href="https://www.npr.org/2019/03/07/700901834/minnesota-congresswoman-ignites-debate-on-israel-and-anti-semitism">money</a> — “It’s all about the Benjamins” — accused “evil” Israel of having <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/rep-ilhan-omar-defends-2012-tweet-accusing-israel-of-hypnotizing-the-world/">hypnotized the world</a>, <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/ilhan-omar-israel-bds-movement-iran-sanctions-very-different">supported</a> the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and submitted a resolution in the House of Representatives <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/omar-introduces-resolution-defending-boycotts-of-israel-likens-it-to-boycott-of-nazi-germany-soviet-union">comparing</a> boycotting Israel to boycotting the Nazis.
She remains a member of the House Budget Committee and House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Rashida Tlaib
Tlaib has continued to <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/rashida-tlaib-ilhan-omar-miftah-anti-semitism-israel-palestine-bds-2019-8">associate</a> with open anti-Semites, as well as organizations which have praised Palestinian suicide bombings which target Jewish civilians. She has shared and promoted rhetoric calling for the <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/12/02/rashida-tlaibs-all-too-telling-anti-israel-tweet/">destruction</a> of the Jewish state, including the Palestine Liberation Organization’s slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” as well as cartoons mocking Holocaust victims. 
She also supports the BDS movement, has spread <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/tlaib-deletes-retweet-claiming-settlers-killed-boy-found-dead-in-rain-filled-pit/">blood libels</a>, and described a <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/13/politics/rashida-tlaib-holocaust-comments/index.html">false</a> history of Israel, saying that the home of Judaism for thousands of years was created out of thin air in the aftermath of the Holocaust, to “create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time.” Tlaib also favors a <a href="https://forward.com/news/breaking-news/408368/michigan-democratic-nominee-endorses-one-state-solution-cuts-to-israeli/">one-state</a> “solution” to the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
She remains a member of the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Committee on Oversight and Reform.
Black Lives Matter
In addition to multiple instances of anti-Semitism during Black Lives Matter marches, such as <a href="https://www.jta.org/2020/10/30/united-states/a-widely-circulated-video-showed-jews-being-harassed-at-black-lives-matter-protest-the-attacker-is-part-of-a-fringe-group">harassment</a>, and <a href="https://youngisrael.org/press-release/young-israel-condemns-anti-semitism-at-black-lives-matter-march/">chants</a> of “Israel, we know you, you murder children, too,” the <a href="https://www.politifact.com/article/2020/aug/24/ask-politifact-black-lives-matter-anti-semitic/">2016 platform</a> of Black Lives Matter claimed that providing aid to Israel is “complicit in the genocide taking place against the Palestinian people,” and described Israel as “an apartheid state.” 
In June 2020, Black Lives Matter United Kingdom <a href="https://twitter.com/ukblm/status/1277177624884850689">tweeted</a>, “As Israel moves forward with the annexation of the West Bank, and mainstream British politics is gagged of the right to critique Zionism, and Israel’s settler colonial pursuits, we loudly and clearly stand beside our Palestinian comrades. FREE PALESTINE.”
Al Sharpton
As part of a long career of controversy and alleged corruption, “civil rights icon” Al Sharpton has routinely engaged in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/haworth-democrats-obsession-al-sharpton-ian-haworth">anti-Semitic</a> rhetoric. He faced heavy criticism for his role in the Crown Heights race riots of 1991. During the funeral of Gavin Cato, a seven-year-old boy who was accidentally killed by one of the cars in the motorcade of the leader of an Orthodox Jewish Hasidic movement, Sharpton said: “It’s an accident to allow an apartheid ambulance service in the middle of Crown Heights.” During the Crown Heights riots which followed, Yankel Rosenbaum, a 29-year-old Jewish student, was surrounded, beaten and stabbed, later dying in the hospital. Many criticized Sharpton for his role in inflaming tensions, citing remarks such as “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house”.
In March 2000, a House <a href="https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/BILLS-106hconres289ih/html/BILLS-106hconres289ih.htm">resolution</a> was introduced “Condemning the racist and anti-Semitic views of the Reverend Al Sharpton,” and included claims that Sharpton “condoned anti-Semitic views in that protesters from the Reverend Sharpton&#8217;s National Action Network have referred to members of the Jewish faith as ‘bloodsucking [J]ews’, and ‘Jew bastards,’” and “referred to members of the Jewish faith as ‘white interlopers’ and ‘diamond merchants,’” and also criticized his “vicious verbal anti-Semitic attacks directed at members of the Jewish faith, and in particular, a Jewish landlord, arising from a simple landlord-tenant dispute with a black tenant,  incited widespread violence, riots, and the murder of five innocent people.”
The Women’s March
Former national co-chairs of the Women’s March — Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory and Bob Bland — were all “<a href="https://nypost.com/2019/09/21/the-womens-march-still-has-an-anti-semitism-problem/">edged out</a>” from the organization after they “alienated donors and the grassroots with their unapologetic embrace of Louis Farrakhan, despite his notorious anti-Semitism.” <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/courtney-love-linda-sarsour-an-anti-semitic-terrorist/">Sarsour</a>, in particular, has endorsed the BDS movement, supported a one-state solution, and stated in an interview that one cannot be both a feminist and a Zionist, despite the fact that Israel is the only country in the region to offer any form of gender equality.
Zahra Billoo, who then joined the Women’s March board, was quickly removed after past tweets surfaced, including “apartheid Israel kills children as a hobby” and that she saw no “difference between American youth leaving the country to join isis or idf . . . both are murderous, war crime committing terrorist entity.”
Other members of the organization include Charlene Carruthers, who tweeted about a supposed “massacre in Gaza,” and that she is “afraid . . . to speak out against the Israeli occupation [because she’s] witnessed the consequences,” Samia Assad, who retweeted a video with the caption “Israel = worse than the devil,” and Rinku Sen, who wrote a San Francisco Chronicle op-ed criticizing America’s acceptance of the “supremacist aspects of Zionism,” and has also called Zionism a “movement that claims all of the land from Iraq to Egypt for Ashkenazi (white) Jews.”

The Smithsonian Institution’s American History Museum opened an exhibit about Women’s suffrage just days before the city shut down over coronavirus concerns. Now that the museum is open, visitors are able to see the museum’s take on feminism &#8212; and many will be disappointed.
The Federalist’s Christopher Jacobs visited the exhibit recently and <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/10/12/leftist-propaganda-resurfaces-in-smithsonians-inaccurate-american-history-display-on-feminism/">reported</a> its inaccuracies and bias in a column published Monday morning. Right off the bat, Jacobs notes a sign listing the years in which feminist milestones took place. The sign incorrectly claims Roe v. Wade was decided in 1970. In fact, Jacobs explains, the case began in lower courts during that year but a ruling from the Supreme Court – the landmark ruling referred to today – didn’t come until 1973. This inaccuracy is significant because the display mentions the first March for Life occurred in 1974.
“Tom McClusky, vice president of government affairs for the <a href="https://marchforlife.org/march-for-life-team/">March for Life</a>, noted another problem with the display: By (accurately) noting that the first March for Life occurred in 1974 while (inaccurately) claiming that the Roe decision came down in 1970, it falsely implies the pro-life movement took four years to respond to the ruling,” Jacobs wrote. “While it is good that the world’s largest annual human rights demonstration is recognized on the list, by getting the date wrong on the Roe v. Wade decision the Smithsonian missed the major connection between that event and the first March for Life, which happened exactly one year later.”
“Roe was decided by seven men to control women through the lie of abortion. In direct response, the March for Life was created by one woman to celebrate women and life and to work to overturn that horrible court decision,” Jacobs continued.
The museum told Jacobs it would change the sign, but that is far from the only issue with the exhibit.
In a section about “the continuing struggle for equality,” the museum mentions the 2017 Women’s March, which wasn’t about equality but rather a visceral response to President Donald Trump’s election and liberal’s general disdain for right-leaning policies. The display even included examples of the pink “p***y hats” worn at the march, with the museum making clear they were based on female genitalia.
It is what the exhibit ignores that shows bias, Jacobs reported. The museum notes that “there was a backlash against the lighthearted hats when some marchers felt the symbolism excluded transgender women and women of color.” While transgender women and women of color were mentioned, the Women’s March display failed to note the anti-Semitism of the March’s founders. Jacobs reached out to the museum’s staff asking why anti-Semitism wasn’t mentioned in the display and received the following response:
The exhibition cases on the 1977 Women’s Conference and the 2017 Women’s March look at how the memory of the women’s suffrage movement, and tensions arising from the moment, can still be seen in the modern women’s movement. The curator discusses how new political symbols are made, how they are reconsidered, and sometimes unmade. The reference to women of color and transgender women was made in this context. We did not address the different, or specific, tensions between march organizers but do refer in a general way to conflicts and tensions ongoing to this day in another label.
As Jacobs noted, the Smithsonian’s museums received $1.047 billion of taxpayer money in fiscal year 2019.
This isn’t the first time the Smithsonian has displayed politically biased displays. As The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/national-museum-of-african-american-history-valuing-hard-work-being-polite-objectivity-all-aspects-of-whiteness">reported</a>, the National Museum of African American History posted “Aspects &amp; Assumptions of White Culture,” claiming  “self-reliance,” “the nuclear family,” “objective, rational linear thinking,” and thinking “hard work is the key to success” are all signs of “whiteness.”
In addition, the same museum also <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/smithsonian-national-museum-african-american-hank-berrien">ignores</a> Justice Clarence Thomas, devoting more time to the woman who dubiously accused him of sexual assault than his accomplishments as a member of the Supreme Court.

American History Museum’s Feminism Exhibit Contains Inaccuracies, Questionable Displays

To the surprise of precisely no one, the Left has transitioned from ignoring the sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden to attempting to discredit his accuser, Tara Reade. A recent Politico piece <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/15/tara-reade-left-trail-of-aggrieved-acquaintances-260771">portrays</a> Reade as a &#8220;manipulative&#8221; and &#8220;deceitful&#8221; woman who &#8220;left a trail of aggrieved acquaintances.&#8221; And that&#8217;s just the headline. Many other articles have been written with this general theme.
This creates a a significant problem for people on the Left, especially feminists, who have spent the last several years insisting in no uncertain terms that we must believe all women. It would seem rather difficult to reconcile the Believe All Women mantra with the new slogan: Believe Some Women But Not The Deceitful Hussies Who Make Inconvenient Accusations Against Politicians We Support. How will they rectify this discrepancy? Well, apparently by denying that they ever said Believe All Women in the first place.
An op-ed in the New York Times, written by Susan Faludi, makes the incredible claim that Believe All Women is a &#8220;Right-Wing Trap.&#8221; Attempting to explain &#8220;how feminists got stuck answering&#8221; for the thing they&#8217;ve been saying for years, Faludi asserts that feminists actually have not been saying that thing at all. After doing some detective work on Twitter, she determined that dastardly conservatives inserted the word &#8220;all.&#8221; The real slogan is Believe Women, Faludi says, not Believe All Women.
This is, of course, a bald faced lie. Feminists most certainly did say &#8220;all women.&#8221; A simple Google search will turn up numerous examples. <a href="https://www.npr.org/2018/10/04/654515122/we-believe-survivors-demonstrators-throng-capitol-hill-to-protest-kavanaugh">Here&#8217;s one</a> from the Kavanaugh hearing. Notice the crowd of activists proudly unfurling a sign that says &#8220;We Believe All Survivors.&#8221; Perhaps Faludi will tell us that they were secret double agents for the Right Wing conspiracy. Fine, let&#8217;s pretend, for the sake of argument, that the feminist slogan was only ever supposed to be Believe Women, and that the word &#8220;all&#8221; was introduced as a nefarious scheme by anti-feminist forces on the Right. Even in this fantasy scenario, feminists are still guilty of a massive double standard.
First of all, &#8220;all&#8221; is implied in Believe Women. If they meant simply to say that they believe Christine Ford, or any other specific accuser who happened to be accusing a conservative, then they would have just said &#8220;I believe Christine Ford&#8221; or whoever. And they did say that. But they also said &#8220;I believe women.&#8221; Which means the statement was meant to be understood generally.
Moreover, if &#8220;all&#8221; was not implied, then the slogan served no discernible purpose. Everyone already believed some women. It&#8217;s not like there were people claiming that we should believe no women. The standard policy, prior to Me Too, was to believe some women and not others. If a woman seemed to be credible and honest and presented evidence to support her claim, we believed her. The Me Too movement, waving its Believe Women banner, was meant to be a response to and condemnation of this approach. Now they&#8217;re pretending that they were actually affirming the very approach that the movement was meant to condemn.

Faludi claims that no feminist &#8220;thinks we should believe everything all women say — even what they say about sexual assault.&#8221; Really? Then what does Believe Women mean? If believing women doesn&#8217;t entail believing them, what does it entail? Jill Filipovic, a prominent feminist writer, <a href="https://twitter.com/JillFilipovic/status/1262405610861137920">shared</a> the Times article on Twitter and summarized its thesis this way: &#8220;Feminists never said &#8220;believe all women&#8221; &#8211; the right inserted the &#8220;all.&#8221; Feminists said &#8220;believe women&#8221;: that is, start with the assumption that women are telling the truth instead of reflexively doubting them.&#8221;
Okay, so believing women doesn&#8217;t mean believing them &#8212; it means assuming that what they&#8217;re saying is true. But isn&#8217;t that the definition of believing someone? Isn&#8217;t this like trying to draw a contrast between a square and a geometric shape with four equal straight sides? It&#8217;s a distinction without a difference. Phrase it however you want, the argument that critics of the Me Too movement have made for years is that we cannot immediately believe a sexual assault accusation, or assume that it&#8217;s true.
Indeed, we should reflexively doubt at least some sexual assault allegations, especially any that are made years after the fact and during a political campaign or Supreme Court confirmation hearing. The point is that a person who comes forward with an allegation under those circumstances better have a significant amount of very solid evidence to present. The burden of proof is on them. If they cannot meet the burden, or even come close to meeting it, then our reflex, or assumption, should be to doubt. This is the responsible and rational way to handle these cases. But it&#8217;s exactly the method that people like Susan Faludi and Jill Filipovic and Joe Biden himself have condemned. They say we should assume the truth of the accusation and put the burden of proof on the accused. Rather, that&#8217;s what they said. Past tense. Now they&#8217;ve suddenly discovered a passion for evidence and the presumption of innocence.
They can try to frame this any way they want, and play whatever word games they want, none of that will change or hide their shameless, vile hypocrisy.

The Women&#8217;s March, which just weeks ago departed company from other #MeToo-associated groups and called for former Vice President Joe Biden to address claims that he sexually assaulted a former aide, issued a statement this week announcing that it is satisifed with Biden&#8217;s tepid response to the claims and believes Biden is now in a better position to win the 2020 Democratic presidential election.
The Women&#8217;s March invented the &#8220;Believe All Women&#8221; campaign during then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh&#8217;s confirmation hearings, insisting, in a series of speeches, statements, and massive protests, that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who had little to substantiate her claim that Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her when the pair were teenagers, should be given all benefit of the doubt and Kavanaugh convicted and deprived of a high-level appointment over her claims.
The group insisted, at the time, that Dr. Ford was unimpeachable, and that by merely being accused, Kavanaugh was unfit for service.
Back in April, The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/womens-march-demands-joe-biden-answer-questions-about-sexual-assault-allegations-against-him">Daily Wire&#8217;s Ashe Schow</a> reported that the Women&#8217;s March initially took a hard line on Tara Reade&#8217;s claim that she was sexually assaulted by Joe Biden when she worked for him as a Senate aide in the mid-1990s, demanding that he answer questions about the incident and reiterate &#8220;his policy on sexual assault, harassment, and consent.&#8221;
The demand certainly sounded serious. It turns out, though, that the Women&#8217;s March was easily satisifed. After Biden appeared on MSNBC to address the claims last week and issued a tepid statement indicating that he, indeed, &#8220;believes all women,&#8221; the Women&#8217;s March fell in line with other activist groups, including the National Organization of Women, Planned Parenthood, and even Time&#8217;s Up Legal Defense Fund.

This is what is necessary to create a culture where survivors can come forward without fear of reprisal. We’ve come a long way on this, but still have a long way to go,&#8221; the Women&#8217;s March tweeted. &#8220;Only <a class="css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1n1174f r-1loqt21 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0" dir="ltr" role="link" href="https://twitter.com/JoeBiden" data-focusable="true">@JoeBiden</a> can speak can speak to his past, and we are glad he has begun to do so with his statement. It’s not on survivors or women to answer for him.&#8221;
In a <a href="https://medium.com/@womensmarchinc/womens-march-statement-on-vice-president-joe-biden-9fc8428bc129">separate statement</a>, the group, which claims to take women&#8217;s &#8220;allegations seriously” said Biden &#8220;modeled&#8221; what the proper response to a sexual assault allegation looks like, because he allowed &#8220;for a fair inquiry of the facts to be conducted by journalists or other investigative bodies without interference,&#8221; and the group seemed to pronounce the issue closed.
The statement did not mention Tara Reade by name even once. Instead, the Women&#8217;s March addressed what it believes will be the political implications of Biden&#8217;s interview, claiming that his candor gives him a leg up in the 2020 presidential election.
&#8220;To those concerned about what this means for the election: By addressing these allegations, we are improving our chances of winning in 2020. As we saw in 2018, when women are respected and empowered, we turn out in force,&#8221; they said.
