Let&#8217;s talk about this horrible case that we&#8217;ve been covering extensively for years: The grooming gang scandal in the U.K.
A new 219-page <a href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/6810978a41bbc42489eafa81/t/6a314bb1151e511944bd4421/1781615537601/The+Rape+Gang+Inquiry+Report.pdf">report</a> has been released by British MP Rupert Lowe’s Restore Britain party.
It is worth noting that some of the evidence that is produced in this report is unverified; it&#8217;s similar to reading the Epstein files a little raw, meaning there may be allegations that have not been substantiated or checked out.
However, what is in this report is horrifying. According to the report:
<blockquote>Britain doesn&#8217;t have a racism problem. It has an immigration problem. &#8230; Believing proud nations to be responsible for the mid 20th century destruction of Europe, our postwar leaders embraced diversity and multiculturalism as the supposedly civilized alternative. This report establishes beyond any doubt that this &#8220;open society&#8221; obsession has, in fact, enabled untold barbarism of its own.

The report continues:
<blockquote>250,000 young white girls have been subjected to rape, gang rape, trafficking, torture, pregnancy, Islamic forced conversion, and lifelong trauma. &#8230; 87% of those convicted in these group-based child sexual exploitation cases bore distinctively Muslim names &#8230; far exceed[ing] the Muslim share of the overall United Kingdom population. (About 6.5%.) &#8230; Crimes occurred in at least 149 local authority districts — close to 40% of all such districts across the United Kingdom.</blockquote>
I&#8217;m not sure how those numbers were compiled or if every victim was listed. What we do know from police investigations is that the number is definitely into the thousands.
Whether it&#8217;s in the hundreds of thousands, I don&#8217;t know. What we do know is that the institutions catastrophically failed. This part of the report is absolutely 100% true:
<blockquote>Police forces ignored repeated reports, criminalized victims instead of perpetrators, destroyed evidence, and allowed known rapists to walk free on bail. Social services undermined protective parents, placed children in trafficking hubs inside children&#8217;s homes, closed cases despite clear indicators of exploitation, and retaliated against whistleblowers. 
The NHS recorded genital injuries, multiple sexually transmitted infections in children as young as 13, pregnancies caused by rape and suicide attempts, yet discharged victims back to their abusers without safeguarding referrals or trauma care. Schools observed older men collecting girls at the gates, heard disclosures of rape on school premises, and responded by excluding victims rather than protecting them.</blockquote>
The report unsurprisingly concludes that the perpetrators are overwhelmingly from Pakistani, Muslim, and other Muslim backgrounds. It states:
<blockquote>Perpetrators from Pakistani, Muslim, and other Muslim backgrounds operated under an honor- and shame-based clan code that treated non-Muslim girls, especially white working class girls, as property available for sexual use. This pattern was reinforced by eight theological and legal aspects of Islam. These include the doctrine of Muslim superiority drawn from Quranic verses that position Muslims at the top with a duty to correct non-believers. 
The gang members’ justification for their crimes can be found in the Islamic principle of loyalty and disavowal &#8230; It demands enmity toward non-Muslims, the superiority of men over women, forced marriage combined with the absence of any fixed minimum age of consent, the perception of female sexuality as inherently dangerous, a system of sex slavery that authorizes sexual relations with non-Muslim captives, and a religiously sanctioned social hierarchy that subjugates conquered non-Muslims.</blockquote>
These have been major problems throughout the Muslim Middle East and all over the world, including Western areas that have imported this stuff. There are people claiming that the report contains unverified allegations and exaggerations, but we don&#8217;t need that report to know what&#8217;s already been investigated. What happened in Rotherham affected over a thousand girls and involved legitimately dozens to hundreds of people; a Muslim grooming gang that was, in fact, targeting sexually vulnerable minors. That happened.

The police and the journalism experts knew about it, and they admit they knew about it. The BBC did a full documentary on this a few years back, in which one of the journalists who eventually came forward to report on it admitted that, in the early 2000s, he was afraid to report on what was happening in Rotherham because he feared it would lead to anti-immigration sentiment.
In other words, he was more worried about the supposed racism that might spring up in the wake of Muslim grooming gangs than about the Muslim grooming gangs themselves. Eventually, he realized that he was doing something terrible and came forward and reported on it.
But there were officers, whistleblowers, who were put to the side for years because of politically correct concerns about all of this.
Not everyone comes from the same culture, and not everyone thinks the same. The biggest problem for the West — and it is a constant problem — is a projection of our own mindset onto other civilizations, other religions, and other areas of the world.
It is not true. It is stupid, and it leads us to make concessions to groups of people who see our concessions as weakness and see our systems as ripe for exploitation.
That is true whether you are talking about immigration programs or whether you are talking about nuclear programs. If you&#8217;re talking about immigration programs, the idea that anyone can be assimilated because “everyone in their heart is a reasonable person simply seeking a better material life” is untrue. It is verifiably false.
This is why importing vast numbers of people from cultures that do not like the West is not only a foolish move, but it is a highly dangerous move, and it may be too late for the U.K. to do anything about it.
We&#8217;re going to find out. The real political conflict in the U.K. is all about immigration, just as it has been for years in Hungary, Italy, Denmark, and a wide variety of other European countries.
The police investigated. They found actual connections. There are no conspiracy theories here. This was a reality. There is verifiable, verified evidence across a wide variety of cases and actual criminal convictions.
Now take that internationally.
The attempt to project rationality on two groups that are utterly unlike the United States or Europe is foolish. Pretending that the Iranian regime is like the U.S. and therefore subject to normal political considerations is a category error. Putting them even in the same category as Venezuela is a category error.
Venezuela is a communist secularist regime. Their chief goal is to ensure that they remain in power. That means that if you choke them off economically, they might do some of the things that you want in order to remain in power.
But when it comes to the Iranian government, they are more willing to sacrifice their entire body politic and kill everyone than they are willing to make concessions to the United States that subjugate their millenarian impulses.
The biggest mistake the West makes is assuming that everyone thinks like them. That’s why the West imports people who don&#8217;t like them. It&#8217;s why the West tolerates enclaves of people who don&#8217;t like them. It&#8217;s why the West refuses to prosecute people who don&#8217;t like them.
That&#8217;s how you end up with horrible scandals.
Like the grooming gang case over in Great Britain.

In recent years, it&#8217;s finally become acceptable to openly speak of mass migration and open borders as a policy of &#8220;replacement.&#8221; 
It&#8217;s close to conventional wisdom that globalists are importing millions of third-worlders who reproduce at far greater rates than the native population so that, ultimately, the white population will cease to exist. 
And while this theory is mostly correct, it does have one significant problem: It doesn&#8217;t go nearly far enough. It implies that this strategy of replacement is passive — that the elites are merely waiting for white people to die out, as they reproduce below replacement levels. 
In truth, what&#8217;s often called a policy of &#8220;Great Replacement&#8221; is something else entirely: It&#8217;s an all-out genocide against whites — one that has no comparison in living memory. 
The goal of Western leaders is to facilitate the torture, brutalization, and death of as many whites — including white children — as possible. And until these leaders are overthrown, the genocide will continue. 
In the name of &#8220;diversity&#8221; and mass migration, Western leaders, academics, and the media want to torment and eradicate white people. That is not a hypothesis. It&#8217;s not conjecture. It&#8217;s now a proven fact.

On Tuesday, a member of parliament in the UK named Rupert Lowe released a 219-page report documenting the government&#8217;s complicity in the systematic rape of an estimated 250,000 young white girls in Britain over the past several decades, many of whom were subjected to gang rape, trafficking, pregnancy, and forced Islamic conversion at the hands of Pakistani Muslims. 
I&#8217;ll say that again: Rupert Lowe, who leads the independent &#8220;Rape Gang Inquiry&#8221; in the UK, which was funded by tens of thousands of public donations, has found that the government contributed to, and covered up, the rape of a quarter-million young white girls by foreign Muslims who had no right to be living in Britain in the first place. And that&#8217;s only counting the victims we know about. Many of the victims came from working-class areas. Their families, and their ancestors, built Britain. And instead of protecting their children, the British government deliberately allowed foreigners to rape them.
As the <a href="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/6810978a41bbc42489eafa81/t/6a314bb1151e511944bd4421/1781615537601/The+Rape+Gang+Inquiry+Report.pdf">inquiry found</a>, after looking through court records: 
<blockquote>Around 87% of those convicted in these group-based child sexual exploitation cases bore distinctively Muslim names. The vast majority of men involved in these gangs were not convicted. Dr. Taj Hargey, an imam with the Oxford Islamic Congregation, believes the true proportion of gang members who are Muslims to be around 95%. &#8230; The overwhelming majority of the rape gang networks consisted entirely of men from Muslim backgrounds – predominantly of Pakistani heritage, although smaller groups from Somali, Iranian, Syrian, Turkish, and other Muslim origins were also involved. &#8230; Girls as young as 11 were targeted with gifts, alcohol and drugs, collected in taxis from school gates, care homes and streets and taken to houses, flats, restaurants and hotels and then raped repeatedly by groups of men, passed between perpetrators, trafficked across county lines, and in many cases impregnated or forced into abortions. Most victims endured violence, were filmed for blackmail, or told they were “white trash” or “kuffar” who deserved punishment.</blockquote>
It needs to be said that it&#8217;s not remotely surprising that virtually all of the rapists found in the report were Muslims. There are plenty of shocking elements to this report, but this isn&#8217;t one of them. Everything outlined in this report is an established pattern of Muslim behavior, and we need to stop pretending otherwise. 
Centuries ago, Muslim pirates from North Africa routinely raped white women as part of their raids on coastal towns. We talked about several of those raids in the first episode of &#8220;Real History.&#8221; The Ottomans also raped and murdered white women during the fall of Constantinople. 
In fact, even when Muslims were on the run — when they had every reason to flee as quickly as possible — they still took the time to rape as many white women as they possibly could. Throughout their failed siege of Vienna — and even as they were retreating — Muslim soldiers raped their white female captives. 
Then there was this remarkable story involving a migrant boat carrying about 75 Iraqi and Syrian refugees on their way to Europe in the summer of 2024. Around 120 miles off the coast of Italy, after traveling for eight days, the boat&#8217;s motor caught fire, and the vessel capsized.

One particular Iraqi on the boat soon became enraged when his wife and daughter drowned. So what did the Iraqi do? He immediately raped and choked to death another 16-year-old Iraqi girl on the boat. That was his first, instinctual reaction. He didn&#8217;t grieve. He didn&#8217;t try to find a way to fix the boat. He didn&#8217;t try to send a makeshift distress signal. His mind immediately went to committing one of the most barbaric and evil acts imaginable, almost like it was his default response to a stressful situation. This is something no sane Westerner can comprehend. It&#8217;s almost too savage and primitive to even think about. But for third-world Muslims, it&#8217;s just another day at the office.

All of the policymakers who imported Muslims into Europe by the millions — starting in the 1950s, when foreigners arrived to work in the textile mills, and accelerating dramatically with Tony Blair in 1997 — knew exactly what they were doing. They weren&#8217;t ignorant of history. 
Tony Blair was famously intelligent and well-educated. They all understood that, when they opened the borders and eliminated the visa requirements and went along with the EU&#8217;s agenda, they were inviting hordes of foreign rapists into the UK. That&#8217;s why, once the abuse started, the government immediately took action to shield the barbarians from scrutiny.

Prosecutions simply won&#8217;t be enough at this point. That might&#8217;ve been an appropriate solution, say, 20 years ago. But Britain is well past prosecutions now. As this inquiry outlines, the court system no longer serves the interests of white people. The judiciary is an anti-white institution, along with everything else. 
At this point, what&#8217;s needed are international war crime tribunals, like the Nuremberg trials. We need summary executions. The British government has declared war on its own people. The Trump administration would be perfectly justified if it armed the British people and assisted them in overthrowing their illegitimate and genocidal government. 
And this wouldn&#8217;t be another pointless regime change war. We&#8217;d be advancing the interests of the Western world in a very tangible way. Indeed, it would be far more justified, and far more in our interests, than literally any regime change war that has ever been facilitated by Western powers in Asia or Africa. 
The full report is online, and everyone should read it. But you&#8217;ve heard enough to come to the obvious conclusion, which is frankly that the British government deserves to be overthrown. Keir Starmer and hundreds of other British politicians should be imprisoned immediately. 
This is the worst sexual abuse scandal that the Western world has seen in modern times, and it&#8217;s not particularly close. And yet you will find that the same media, and the same politicians, and the same commentators, who have obsessed over Epstein, for example, will have nothing at all to say about this. 
Epstein, of course, was a monster. I have always advocated for full transparency with the Epstein Files, and I still do. But the scale of this rape gang scandal, the nature of the crimes, the number of victims, the powerful institutions directly and explicitly implicated — all of that dwarfs Epstein by several orders of magnitude. 
So when the people who claim to want justice for Epstein’s victims ignore the hundreds of thousands of victims in this case, you should pay attention to that. And never trust those people again. 
It should also be noted that the Me Too movement dominated the headlines for many months. Dozens of men lost their jobs. Some went to prison. Most of the alleged victims in the Me Too cases were adult women who had consensual sex with film producers so that they could secure movie roles. Or they were women who had consensual sex with famous men and then later felt bad about it and so decided after the fact that they’d been abused. 
The Me Too hysteria uncovered very few actual crimes. And whatever crimes were committed, those men — like Weinstein — are now in prison, where they belong. Again, the decades-long reign of terror by Muslim gangs against young white girls — aided and abetted by government officials every step of the way — is many, many, many times worse than whatever was happening in Hollywood between scummy producers and actresses. Worse in scale. Worse in the nature of the crimes. Worse in the systemic corruption that enabled it. Worse in every imaginable way. 
And yet, again, Muslim rape gangs in the UK have not, and are not today, and will not, generate even a fraction of the headlines, or the general mass outrage, as we saw during the Me Too movement. What that means is that, in effect, the cover-up that allowed these rape gangs to flourish is still happening. 
You have to wonder how much longer the men in Britain can allow this to continue. In just the past few weeks, they&#8217;ve seen a white guy get nearly beheaded in Belfast. 
They&#8217;ve seen the police mock a dying white university student, after a foreigner stabbed him in the heart. They&#8217;ve learned that the British government employs specialized operatives to convince the families of the victims — including Henry Nowak&#8217;s family — to get in front of cameras and praise the wonders of diversity. 
All of that&#8217;s happened in just the past few weeks. And now, after all that, a 200-page report documents the degree to which the British government is complicit in the rapes of 250,000 white girls at the hands of Muslim foreigners. And these rapes are still continuing to this day. These foreigners were welcomed into the country. Fed, housed, clothed. Given opportunities they never would have had. And they have thanked their hosts by butchering their sons in the street and raping their daughters. 
No amount of &#8220;diversity training&#8221; or &#8220;classroom education&#8221; or &#8220;cultural sensitivity sessions&#8221; will end this savagery. All of these people need to be forcibly returned to where they came from. 
Granted, I actually don’t want to see the Muslim rape gangs themselves deported. I’d rather that they stay in Britain permanently. Specifically, that they stay in a box, six feet under the ground, without even a headstone to mark their graves. 
Meanwhile, the importation of migrants from the Muslim world should end entirely, in the UK and in this country. The ugly truth, as we’ve discussed, is that the behavior documented in this report is not really an aberration. The sexual torture and abuse of children is a common feature in many muslim countries. 
Ask any combat veteran what sorts of horrors they witnessed in Afghanistan. It’s part of their “culture.” Which is why it is nothing less than suicidal to import that culture into the West. It’s also why that culture, to the extent that it has been imported, must now be deported. En masse. By ship and plane. Get it out of the West. Get it away from us, from our children.
That may sound harsh. It may seem difficult to implement. But after reading a report like this, especially after seeing all of the news out of Britain in the past month, mass deportation is clearly the moderate option. 
It should be the consensus position of everyone in the country. If this report is instead buried by the corporate press and ignored by British politicians — which is what I expect will happen — then very quickly, the moderate option will be off the table. And whether you like it or not — whether it offends your sensibilities or not — we&#8217;ll all find out what the more radical option looks like.

It&#8217;s a deliberate function of our broken educational system that most people don&#8217;t know this, but it&#8217;s true: White people have been systematically subjugated and discriminated against many, many times throughout history. And very often, whites have rebelled against this subjugation — and won. 
From the American and European response to the Barbary Slave Trade, to the Greeks&#8217; revolt against the Ottomans, you&#8217;ll find plenty of examples of white people who have freed themselves from systemic, targeted oppression at the hands of barbarians. 
But in history class, instead of going into any great detail on this point, you&#8217;re taught about all the heroic, non-white indigenous folks who defeated the evil white colonial powers that ruled over them. That&#8217;s how all the textbooks are written. It&#8217;s a technique that&#8217;s intended to stifle any revolutionary sentiment among white people in the West, as their civil liberties — and even their lives — are taken away, one by one. 
Based on the events that have taken place in Britain in the past 24 hours, this technique does not appear to be as effective anymore. For the first time in memory, white people are organizing in the streets — in large numbers — to advance their own interests. They saw what happened to first-year university student Henry Nowak, who was butchered in the street by a foreigner — like so many other innocent whites living in Britain. 
They saw how the police handcuffed Nowak and mocked him as the life drained from his body, all because the murderous barbarian claimed that Nowak had been &#8220;racist.&#8221; They saw how the police in Britain will strip you of your rights and your dignity if they believe you harbor any resentment whatsoever towards the foreign hordes who are destroying your country. 
They saw how the killer&#8217;s family conspired to hide the evidence and concoct a false claim of self-defense — without any remorse whatsoever, only tribal loyalty. And having seen all of this — just the latest in a long string of executions, systemic injustice and humiliation that whites have been forced to endure in Britain for the past several decades — the indigenous people of the UK are finally rising up. They are taking back their own country.

If anyone on the Left had an ounce of self-respect or felt any desire to have a coherent and principled belief system, they&#8217;d be lining up to support these brave indigenous folks as they protest the oppression of the state. 
These white people have lived in Britain going back generations, from the time the country was founded. And the foreign colonizers, who arrived 15 minutes ago, are replacing them, and sometimes even slaughtering them in the streets. 
The replacement of the UK’s indigenous population is very real and very purposeful. In 1980, only about 6% of the country’s population was foreign-born. Now it’s more than three times that number. Currently, about 80% of the UK is white, which sounds like a large majority. But consider that 40 years ago, it was 97 or 98% white. 
These kinds of demographic transformations don’t happen by accident. They are facilitated, encouraged, and funded. They are, yes, the result of a deliberate conspiracy to take predominantly and historically white countries and make them less white. It’s the kind of effort that, if done to literally any other race or ethnicity, would be immediately seen by everyone as evil, even genocidal. 
White people indeed are, after all, the indigenous people of the UK. I would like to assume that all of the Ivy League professors and CNN anchors would agree when I say that the native people of the UK deserve to have their homeland back. That we must respect indigenous culture and identity, and acknowledge the deep and enduring connection that the native communities of the UK maintain with their ancestral homeland, affirming and honoring their rights and heritage. 
We must support decolonization efforts and acknowledge the historical harms inflicted on the Native peoples of the UK and the broader indigenous community all across Western Europe and the entire Anglosphere. Isn’t this how it’s done? These are all the buzzwords, right? They actually apply in this case. 
The indigenous peoples of the UK are being replaced, colonized, and deliberately and systematically disadvantaged and discriminated against by their government, even to the point of white men getting handcuffed and left to die on the pavement after they’re butchered in the street by a crazed immigrant who was granted a special ethnic exemption from the law, allowing him to carry a knife in the first place. 
This sounds like an attack on the rights of indigenous people. In fact, call me crazy, it sounds like a much more serious attack on indigenous rights than calling a football team “The Redskins.” And yet, shockingly, nobody on the Left will talk about it that way. There will be no land acknowledgments performed for the indigenous people of Western Europe. That’s for certain. 
I don’t mean to suggest, for the record, that the modern colonization of Western Europe by the third world, and the replacement of its indigenous population, is exactly analogous to the arrival of Europeans to places occupied by various native tribes, and the eventual conquest of those lands. 
These are not the same, admittedly. They aren’t the same because the third-world colonization of the West is infinitely worse than the colonization of native tribes by Western powers. In the latter case, Europeans were bringing civilization into uncivilized lands. They were building an advanced, superior civilization out of an untamed wilderness, previously occupied by disconnected, warring tribes of stone-age primitives. 
In the modern case, third-world immigrants are being imported into advanced civilizations and making them less civilized. They aren’t building anything from scratch or taming any wilderness. They are taking advantage of systems and benefits and entitlements already in place. In the old days, to colonize a place was to build a coherent civilization on top of it. These days, to colonize is to deconstruct a coherent civilization that has already been built. One is an act of construction. The other an act of destruction. 
Maybe you can forgive these left-wing voices for their total silence in this particular case. After all, in modern-day Britain, scenes like the ones we just watched are unheard of. Britain has seen riots over climate change, mass migration, George Floyd, various soccer events, Brexit, and so on. But there has never been a mass protest, much less a riot, over the systemic anti-white discrimination that has taken hold in Britain, and all across the West. 
In Britain, comedians are arrested for making &#8220;anti-trans jokes.&#8221; They used drones to hunt down people walking alone in the countryside during the COVID lockdowns. They worship state-run healthcare, even though the waiting list for routine hospital care has several million people on it. All this to say, Britain is one of the most dysfunctional, left-wing countries on the planet. It&#8217;s the last place you&#8217;d expect to see an uprising against anti-white discrimination. But at a certain point, even whites in Britain simply can&#8217;t take it anymore. They can&#8217;t take the brutality and the vengefulness that underlies the treatment of innocent white men, women, and children. And then they fight back.
To be very clear: I don&#8217;t condone rioting. No one should condone rioting. Throwing bricks and garbage cans at police officers — or &#8220;wheelie bins,&#8221; as they&#8217;re called in Britain — is wrong. Of course there’s a meme going around of a British police officer saying, “I got hit in the head with a bin” and someone responding, “I don’t think you have, mate,” which I admit is absolute gold. But even so, rioting doesn&#8217;t accomplish anything and is immoral. What Britons need to do is exactly what we&#8217;ve done in the United States, which is to elect a government that begins mass deportations and wages war on anti-white discrimination. The government also needs to terminate every police officer who targets white people because of their skin color or political beliefs, starting with the officers who attacked protesters for no reason yesterday.

It&#8217;s reminiscent of the police officers who beat up Canadians during the trucker protests. Truck drivers made their way to the capital of Canada, where they peacefully assembled. And the government responded by attacking them. We&#8217;re seeing the same thing right now in Britain, as the authorities are clearly caught off-guard by these demonstrations.
But none of this should surprise anyone. Even the violence. It’s completely predictable. Unlike the BLM riots, which were premised on a series of lies — including the lie that Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd, as well as the lie that the police routinely kill unarmed black men — the unrest in Britain right now stems from something real and undeniable. 
This is what happens when you enshrine racial discrimination into law, which is what the UK did in 2010, when they passed the so-called &#8220;Equality Act.&#8221; The law — as with many laws — did the exact opposite of what the name would suggest. It provided that organizations can engage in &#8220;positive action&#8221; for the benefit of &#8220;underrepresented groups.&#8221; Immediately, every major employer in the country — including police departments, the Air Force, and everyone else — began fast-tracking non-white candidates. 
This is an unsustainable state of affairs, obviously, but the trendline is going exactly in the right direction. British men are stepping up and defending their children from foreign barbarians. They&#8217;re explicitly calling out their anti-white government. 
A jury in South Carolina just acquitted an Asian convenience store owner who was defending himself against a black attacker — something that wouldn&#8217;t have happened just six years ago. Ghoulish mobs, cheering for a thug who stabbed a white boy to death for no reason, are being met with peaceful white demonstrators honoring the life of Austin Metcalf — and condemning the hatred of whites that led to his death. These are signs of progress — signs that we&#8217;ve badly needed to see, for a very long time. A large, oppressed group of people has decided that they&#8217;ve had enough.
It&#8217;s maybe a simplistic point, but it&#8217;s true: Highly motivated groups of people can accomplish great things. That&#8217;s how history is made. And right now, it&#8217;s the Anglos&#8217; turn to make history, as they have so many times, in so many ways, in the past.
It took decades for anti-white discrimination to become a fundamental part of Western society, but it doesn&#8217;t take much time to put an end to it. After all, the West has the home-field advantage. We&#8217;re on our own territory. We created the customs and legal norms and infrastructure that these invaders are now abusing for their own ends. All we have to do now is exactly what white people are doing from Southampton to South Carolina: We have to stop participating in our own destruction, and for the first time in memory, we have to defend what our ancestors built.

As we approach the holiest day of the year for the Catholic Church, tens of millions will prepare to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of Americans across the country are preparing to join the faith I have belonged to since birth.
Converts to the faith have played a crucial role over the last two millennia, from St. Paul’s journey to Damascus, to St. Augustine&#8217;s departure from a life of debauchery that would make Hugh Hefner blush, to G.K. Chesterton, whose writings still speak to millions nearly a century later, to St. Elizabeth Seton, the first American-born saint.
I firmly believe the Catholic Church is the greatest civil institution ever created. Since its founding, the Church has clothed the naked, educated the young, fed the hungry, tended to the sick, and through divine mercy provided the path to salvation for billions of people.
During the darkest times in human history, the Catholic Church was the only institution that separated the West from barbarism. The very fabric of Western civilization is tied to the history of the Church.
While it’s easy for me to wax poetic about a church I have repeatedly fallen in love with over the years — even with all of its shortcomings — other high-profile converts appear to be using their newfound membership in the Catholic faith as nothing more than a political prop.
It is true, the vast majority of new converts join for all the right reasons. But a small, vocal cadre of political influencers are using their catholicism to build social media platforms, feigning purity as an E-girl or, even worse, promoting antisemitism. It is people doing the latter who pose the most credible threat to the integrity of all Catholics and create a widespread erroneous belief that Catholicism has an issue with Jews.
Unlike many branches of Christianity, the Catholic Church does not demand that the faithful be committed Zionists to receive God’s blessing. Many prominent members of the Church have spoken out about the plight of civilians in Gaza. It seems recent converts to the faith understand those teachings but somehow forget that the Church also rejects any form of antisemitism, condemns hostility toward Jews, and upholds the enduring covenant with the Jewish people as God’s chosen people. They have already become cafeteria Catholics, picking and choosing which parts of the teachings they prefer.
Holding nuanced opinions about sensitive subjects in the Middle East, like America&#8217;s relationship with Israel, can be a tough balancing act for anyone. For the Catholic, however, it is completely possible to be a critic of Middle Eastern affairs without being expressly antisemitic. And your new membership in the Catholic faith should not serve as your call to action against the State of Israel.
Yet for some political influencers, their call to the faith doesn&#8217;t seem rooted in deep devotion or hope for eternal salvation. Rather, their main mission seems to be in &#8220;otherizing&#8221; of those who don’t fall into their particular bubble.
Perhaps the gravest sin in all of this is using Christ and the Church as a political prop. Using a phrase like “Christ is King” — not to celebrate the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, the salvation of souls from hell, and His resurrection — but to otherize those of different faiths is no different than taking the Lord’s name in vain.
The phrase “Christ is King” should not be followed by &#8220;Netanyahu should be on trial for war crimes.&#8221;
For those just joining the Church, it is worth remembering that Catholics in this country were long treated as outsiders — feared, condemned, and accused of harboring foreign allegiances. Most cradle Catholics of the Ellis Island stock have a better understanding of that shared history.
Those looking to use the Church as a platform to dictate foreign policy or dismiss the life of other faiths are no less cringeworthy than when priests from the Boomer generation host climate change events or demand that the United States change its immigration laws.
It seems transparent that your membership in this church is one more platform, like a social media account where views and followers are all that matter, not devotion.
These are uneasy times, but it’s in moments of darkness that we as Catholics should look to the saints who have come before us and truly offer our lives to Christ and build the church – not use it for self-advancement.

The Supreme Court of Finland held that Päivi Räsänen, a longtime member of the Finnish Parliament, was guilty of the “hate crime” of “insulting” a group based on sexual orientation for publishing a church pamphlet over twenty years ago. A Lutheran bishop, Juhana Pohjola, was similarly convicted for publishing the pamphlet for the church.
Chillingly, Räsänen and Pohjola are now criminals for peacefully expressing their views in the public square.
The details that led up to this outrageous conviction are truly Orwellian.
Räsänen published her pamphlet, “Male and Female He Created Them,” in 2004, when Finland, like much of the world, was debating same-sex marriage. The pamphlet was meant to help others navigate those debates.
Years later, Finland amended its “War Crimes” statute, expanding the scope of criminal “hate speech” laws to include many new protected categories, resulting in this verdict where the court ruled it is illegal to publish “insulting” content.
Räsänen is a member of the Finnish Lutheran Church. In 2019, her church announced it would join the Helsinki Pride Parade. Räsänen gained international attention with a now-famous X post in which she criticized her church’s involvement in the pride parade and shared an image of a Bible verse.

A progressive prosecutor in Helsinki could not stand such an “affront” and commenced what would become an almost seven-year legal battle. She immediately launched and announced an investigation into Räsänen for criminal “hate speech.” During that investigation, she seemingly reviewed every statement that Räsänen had made on the subject of sexuality and dredged up the 15-year-old 20-page pamphlet, along with a single radio interview. She later charged Räsänen and Bishop Pohjola with hate crimes based on the Bible tweet, the pamphlet, and the interview.
Räsänen defended herself publicly by sharing links to the allegedly “offensive” material so people could see for themselves what, exactly, she was on trial for.
A Finnish lower court unanimously acquitted Räsänen and Pohjola on all counts, finding that posting Bible verses was not a crime. The case should have ended there. In the United States, if the prosecution loses, the case is closed. But in Finland, the prosecutors can keep appealing even a clear loss, which they did. The Court of Appeals again fully and unanimously acquitted Räsänen and Pohjola.
The prosecutors took one more shot, appealing to the Supreme Court. And now, in a split 3-2 decision, the Supreme Court has found Räsänen and Pohjola guilty of “insult” under the “War Crimes and Crimes against Humanity” section of Finland’s criminal code.
The logic of the decision is mind-bending. The Court, thankfully, upheld the acquittal for the Bible tweet, finding it did not meet the threshold for incitement. That’s good. But how the Court found Räsänen guilty for publishing the pamphlet is straight out of George Orwell&#8217;s 1984.
The Court argued that simply because the prosecution started an investigation in 2019 — about a tweet that the Court itself says is allowed — Räsänen should have known that her early-2000s pamphlet might now be seen as “insulting&#8221; under a law enacted years later. The Court concluded that Räsänen should have removed the allegedly insulting statements before reposting a link to them — even before any charges were filed.
So it was the very fact that she was being publicly investigated and sought to defend herself that made her a criminal and her statements ipso facto illegal.
This is not justice. This is Year Zero thinking, where an official accusation can turn someone into a thought-criminal, and any defense is used against them. It is the upside-down world.
The Court, doubling down on Orwellian reasoning, has demanded that Räsänen and Pohjola remove and “destroy” the “offending” statements from the pamphlet. This is simply the mandatory erasure of history and thought.
How many books, articles, and posts available online “might be” considered “insulting” to a group? Must publishers and authors scour their online libraries and remove anything others might find offensive? Does a mere accusation of offense now mandate people pull their beliefs and statements offline? The Court’s twisted logic points toward all these dystopian outcomes.
Päivi Räsänen has shown immense Christlike grace throughout this whole ordeal, and I pray that she receives justice soon, through an appeal or otherwise.
But the decision in her case goes far beyond just one individual. How many people will refuse to speak up if there is even the hint of controversy in their views, religious or otherwise, especially if the powers-that-be clearly disfavor those views?
Is this how Europe will use mechanisms like the Digital Services Act to silence alleged “hate speech” and export censorship online and globally?
The Finnish Supreme Court’s decision against Räsänen is an outrage against her and against the most fundamental principles of free speech. It is more obvious than ever that &#8220;hate speech&#8221; laws are inherently abusive and must be repealed. This decision should be widely condemned by people worldwide who value freedom.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke at the Munich Security Conference in Germany on Saturday. It was attended by a wide variety of politicos, both from the Trump administration and from the Democratic side of the aisle.
He was the adult in the room.
Marco Rubio is the most well-spoken member of the Trump administration. And when it comes to foreign policy, it’s not even close.
He gave a truly tremendous speech about the relationship between America and Europe.
If you recall, last year, Vice President JD Vance also went to Europe. In Davos, he proceeded to give a speech blistering the Europeans: some parts for good reasons, some parts that weren’t so great.
His speech appeared to draw the hackles of a bunch of Europeans because it was basically saying, “Guys, you seem to be on your own. America is drawing back.”
That is not what Rubio said. What Rubio said is that we have strong bonds, centuries-long bonds with the many European countries, and we also are going to have common interests with those countries, but we need strong allies to stand up for themselves.
He attempted to draw out a definition of what it meant to be in consonance with Europe in a way that Vance, in some ways, failed to advance.
Rubio received a standing ovation for this, which is a good thing because his defense of the Trump administration policy was quite muscular over at the Munich Security Conference.
Rubio suggested that the United States and Europe have a great history of cooperation:
<blockquote>Together we rebuilt a shattered continent in the wake of two devastating world wars. When we found ourselves divided once again by the Iron Curtain, the free West linked arms with the courageous dissidents struggling against tyranny in the East to defeat Soviet communism. We have fought against each other, then reconciled, then fought, then reconciled again. And we have bled and died side by side on battlefields from Kapyong to Kandahar.</blockquote>
Rubio said we definitely need strong allies, that it can&#8217;t just be the United States picking up the check for everybody else. You can&#8217;t build gigantic welfare states on the back of American taxpayers. You need to be strong, because strong alliances require strong allies, and those strong allies are capable of providing deterrence against, for example, a wayward Russia.
“We do not want our allies to be weak, because that makes us weaker,” he said. “We want allies who can defend themselves so that no adversary will ever be tempted to test our collective strength. This is why we do not want our allies to be shackled by guilt and shame. We want allies who are proud of their culture and of their heritage, who understand that we are heirs to the same great and noble civilization, and who, together with us, are willing and able to defend it.
Rubio noted problems that the continent has brought upon itself, ranging from subjecting itself to the Green Revolution,, to the mass migration that it brought upon itself largely through a bizarre sort of blood-guilt, the idea that Europe, because it had destroyed so much of the world during World War II, somehow owed it to the rest of the world to open its borders and bring everyone in.
In the key section of his speech, he talked about the values that are supposed to bring together the United States and Europe.
<blockquote>The fundamental question we must answer at the outset is what exactly are we defending, because armies do not fight for abstractions. Armies fight for a people; armies fight for a nation. Armies fight for a way of life. And that is what we are defending: a great civilization that has every reason to be proud of its history, confident of its future, and aims to always be the master of its own economic and political destiny.</blockquote>
What are the ideas that unite that civilization? He said, “Armies don&#8217;t fight for abstractions.” I beg to differ a little; armies do fight for abstractions. Armies have fought for communism; there are armies that fight for Islamic fundamentalism; there are armies that are fought for Catholicism and for Protestantism. There are armies all over the world that fight for ideas.
The question is, what are the ideas of Western civilization that are worth upholding and preserving? Because if you don&#8217;t know what it is you are defending, it is very difficult to fight for it.
The truth is that Europe itself is a bit of an idea. There are times when members of the European continent have been fighting each other tooth and nail in bloody, centuries-long wars.
What exactly is the concept of Europe? What is the common ideological heritage that actually counts between America and Europe? If you&#8217;re going to talk about Europe as a holistic concept, you have to define your terms. If you&#8217;re going through the history of Europe all the way back to the Roman Empire, what you&#8217;d see is that the Roman Empire was its own civilization. It considered the outlying areas to be barbarians. The word barbarian comes from a Latin root, which means people who speak gibberish. At that time, it applied to the Germans. The Germans were the barbarians. Now they are considered part of European civilization.
After the fall of the Roman Empire, what rose in its wake was Christendom, which was basically the idea of Catholic dominance of the European continent. That grew over the course of the Carolingian Empire and over the course of the subsequent centuries, up until the Protestant Reformation. 
The Protestant Reformation ushered in an era of religious warfare that lasted well over 100 years, and ended with the Peace of Westphalia when the medieval concept of Christendom was replaced by the modern system of nation-states. There was a new concept of Europe that was formed in the aftermath.
The question is always in opposition to what? Whenever you are defining a civilization, civilizations have an internal definition, and then they have a definition with regard to others.
The reality is that the Roman Empire was not only defined as that which was under the sway of Rome, but also in opposition to other empires and armies, German armies, Assyrian armies, Persian armies, or whatever the case may have been.
Christendom was largely forged in opposition to Islam in the aftermath of the fall of the Roman Empire, because Islam was actually a dire threat to Europe and had spread deep into Europe, all the way into France, after the Peace of Westphalia.
About a century later, we saw the rise of the Enlightenment, and then the West became identified with these Enlightenment ideas, a history of Christianity that bled over into a sort of secularized version of many of the key values of Christianity, but with a critical eye toward the idea that religion could answer all questions, and therefore a sort of Aristotelian approach towards science that looked at evidence first.
You got the separation of church and state in many of these countries. You got the rise of the scientific revolution, the rise of the industrial Revolution, the rise of free economies, and all the rest.
And then the West tore itself apart, enduring two world wars.
We saw a West redefined in opposition to Soviet communism and in the aftermath of Soviet communism.
So what is the West? What are these values that we hold dear? It is not just a matter of “common heritage.” It is not just a matter of “common language.” It is not “cultural inheritance” because there are similarities in culture, but also pretty significant differences in these cultures.
To pretend that Europe doesn&#8217;t exist as a concept or as a civilization is silly. It has a shared Christian history that grew out of Christendom, but it also has an Enlightenment history, and it has shared values.
And if those values wane, so too will the alliance between the old world and the new.
Those values include the rule of law, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, property rights, democracy, and small republicanism.
This is one reason among many why Russia has never quite ever entered the world of Europe, and has always sort of existed on the fringes of Europe. Integrating the Russian Empire into Europe has always been a failed experiment.
All of this means Europe needs to uphold its own values. It means the United States needs to uphold its own values, and we all need to understand that a shared history, a shared experience, and a shared set of values are all necessary in order to have an increasingly powerful alliance.
He concluded:

Gen Z is particularly attuned to the threat of radical Islam, as a number of college students told The Daily Wire&#8217;s Isabel Brown at Turning Point USA&#8217;s AmFest.
Brown, the host of The Isabel Brown Show, moderated a panel discussion with three students, all active within TPUSA. One student said that the issue of Islam came entirely down to freedom of speech — and, in particular, freedom to dissent.
&#8220;Theoretically, if you disagree with the teachings of Christ, you can live in the United States and still abide by our laws and respect each other, but in a theocracy like what is under — the Middle East and Islam — you can&#8217;t,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;If you criticize Mohammed, you could genuinely put your life at risk. And we don&#8217;t have that in the United States, and I don&#8217;t think that we should.&#8221;
&#8220;When it comes to looking at different religions, the beautiful thing about America is that you can practice every kind of religion that you need. We have this freedom of religion,&#8221; the third panelist added. &#8220;So let me be clear — I don&#8217;t think we should just kick out all Muslims, I don&#8217;t think we should kick out people who practice the Islamic faith — but the idea that the Islamic faith is at all compatible with the Western world is a fallacy in and of itself.&#8221;
&#8220;When you look at the Koran versus the Bible, which is what America is based on, they don&#8217;t connect,&#8221; she added. &#8220;They don&#8217;t work together at all.&#8221;
&#8220;And that&#8217;s controversial to say because we have Muslims living in America. I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s bad to be a Muslim living in America, I think it&#8217;s bad to want Islamic ideals to be put into America because they just don&#8217;t fit with the western world. You&#8217;ll see that happening in Europe — I believe that Europe has completely fallen now. You see this separation between cultures like we haven&#8217;t seen before and this dying of an entire race, an entire culture. What Europe was is dead now. And it will break my heart to see that happen in America.&#8221;
Brown pressed the students on whether they&#8217;d discussed the issue before — and whether their professors had said anything on the topic.
One said that the typical response was to simply slap &#8220;phobia&#8221; on the end of the word, saying &#8220;it&#8217;s Islamophobia if you even dare to question it. And the thing is, I think that means we need to question it. We need to question whether it&#8217;s actually compatible.&#8221;
The overwhelming assessment, from all three panelists, was that Islam was not compatible with Western values. Brown said that Charlie Kirk — the late TPUSA founder and her friend — agreed with this assessment.
&#8220;Charlie, more than anyone in the conservative movement, spoke often in the last few years about the dangers influence on Islam and Eastern philosophy on Western civilization, not just in the United States, but around Europe as well — where we&#8217;re seeing really crazy headlines over the past several months more than any time in our lifetime, right?&#8221; Brown began.
She went on to give examples, noting that Christmas markets and New Year&#8217;s Eve events were being canceled due to the threat posed by pro-Palestinian protesters and Islamic extremists, and that terrorist attacks around the world had increased dramatically — &#8220;and now that&#8217;s starting to seep into American culture here as well.&#8221;
After conceding that she herself had been &#8220;a little bit spicy&#8221; in recent weeks in her declarations that Islam — as an institution — was &#8220;incompatible&#8221; with Western ideals and, in particular, the United States, Brown explained that Islam did not place value on free speech or equality between the sexes, among other things.
One of the students noted that Charlie had always stressed the importance in differentiating between individual Muslims and Islam as a religious or political structure.
&#8220;It&#8217;s a completely incompatible concept that we could even allow these collective societies, like in the United States where now different tribes are fighting over who&#8217;s going to get elected in Minnesota, like that&#8217;s not really what America is supposed to be.&#8221;

I recently listened to the daughter of a Hamas sheikh share her story — one that serves as a warning for New York’s mayoral election. For her safety, I’m withholding her name. 
Her mother was Jewish and escaped their Arab village in Israel soon after giving birth. Her father was a wealthy, devout Muslim sheikh with multiple wives. At 14, his daughter chose to live with him, hoping for family and belonging. Instead, what she found was indoctrination and abuse.
Her father woke her routinely in the middle of the night to test her on the Quran. Beatings were justified because, in the Quran, women are only capable of reaching heaven if the men around them are satisfied. At 15, he forced her to marry her 22-year-old cousin. She immediately became pregnant. At six months, her husband beat her in the street for stepping outside her home without permission. She lost the baby at his hands. Her father blamed her — and made her thank her husband for not killing her.
Her father was embedded in Yasser Arafat’s inner circle — the leader of the Palestinian Authority (PLO), and architect of the Second Intifada. The men around her spoke of Israel as a meal to devour “bite by bite” — relentless, incremental, unending. In conversations she overheard, the goal was never compromise. The hate was endless.
She escaped at 17. Homeless, terrified, and alone, when an Israeli social worker discovered her and soon discovered Judaism’s light: a faith rooted in justice, kindness, and human dignity. Today, she raises her children in freedom and dedicates her life to protecting girls from the same abuse she endured.
Her warning is simple: no matter what you give, negotiate, or attempt at nation-building, political Islam’s hate will never stop. 
The ideology that brutalized her doesn’t stay overseas — it is finding its way into our American cities. Hamas wages physical war in Gaza, but its politics are being waged in local councils and mayoral races, where figures like Zohran Mamdani repurpose Hamas-style rhetoric of “resistance” and “liberation” under the banner of socialism.
I’ve seen it firsthand — radical doctrine pushed under the guise of progressive policy. Over the past two years, I helped apply pressure to block two BDS resolutions at the council level in Nashville, Tennessee. This isn’t theory — it’s unfolding through politics, education, and activist networks quietly advancing Islamist agendas to destabilize the West.

Islamist‑backed groups like <a href="https://www.cair.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Directory.pdf">CAIR sponsor or support at least 235 elected officials</a> at state and federal levels, shaping policy and narrative — including in the current New York mayoral race. Once in office, these politicians import religious ideology into governance, reshaping norms and weakening Western culture. 
CAIR’s Unity &amp; Justice Fund reportedly contributed <a href="https://www.jns.org/cair-reportedly-donated-100000-to-support-mamdani-campaign-for-nyc-mayor/">$100,000 to Zohran Mamdani’s campaign</a>, reinforcing the alliance between Islamist networks and democratic‑socialist politics. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY) have called for a federal investigation into CAIR’s funding sources, questioning whether the organization is financed or directed by Hamas or other terrorist groups. 
Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has renewed efforts to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization — a network whose U.S. affiliates, including the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), hold the deeds to hundreds of mosques and Islamic centers across the United States. CAIR has documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, including being listed as a member of its Palestine Committee in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation terrorism‑financing trial, and was named an unindicted co‑conspirator.
<h3>Political Symbols And Education:</h3>
Anti-American and anti-Israel rhetoric are being woven into classrooms, books, and art — disguised as “diversity” or “multiculturalism.” This summer, a public school in downtown Nashville hosted “<a href="https://x.com/StopAntisemites/status/1966492472827101673">Keffiyeh Day</a>,” celebrating a political symbol tied to Yasser Arafat and the Second Intifada. <a href="https://combatantisemitism.org/cam-news/virginia-high-school-students-glorify-violence-in-horrifying-mock-kidnapping-videos/">At Thomas Jefferson High School in Northern Virginia</a>, students from the Muslim Student Association reenacted Hamas kidnappings in keffiyehs to promote their group. These are not isolated incidents — they reflect a broader ideological initiative.
<h3>The Socialist Cover For Islamist Ambition:</h3>
Words like justice, freedom, victim, oppressed, and occupation are being repurposed to advance extremism. Mamdani, who up until recently has refused to condemn chants to “globalize the Intifada” while promoting the anti-American and anti-Israel BDS movement, exposes how Islamist talking points are being mainstreamed through progressive politics. Under the banner of equity and oppression, Mamdani blurs the line between social justice and political Islam — turning compassion into a Trojan horse for division. His rhetoric mirrors the same moral inversion used by groups like Hamas and the BDS movement: recasting terrorists as victims, and democracies like America and Israel as oppressors. It’s not solidarity — it’s subversion.
The solution is not compromise — it’s clarity. If we elect leaders without Western values, we erase Western values.
Just as the daughter of the Hamas sheikh found light after darkness, our communities must commit to deradicalization, education, and the moral courage to say a definitive “no.”
The fight is no longer overseas. It’s here — on our American soil. We must act now, before the next bite is taken.

President Trump totally broke open the war in Gaza and perhaps put together a workable peace plan.
President Trump has received an inordinate amount of hatred for actually being good at foreign policy. Perhaps the best thing about President Trump&#8217;s first term was his foreign policy. He has always been heterodox in his foreign policy views, and that heterodoxy has actually served him quite well, particularly in the Middle East.
He didn&#8217;t get the credit he deserved over the Abraham Accords. He has not received the credit that he deserves for his continuing support of Israel in the face of genocidal hatred and terrorism from Hamas.
And now he has somehow drawn a fascinating path to peace in the Gaza Strip.
On Monday, Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met for a long time before actually going out and doing a full press conference where they unveiled President Trump&#8217;s peace plan, which has been signed on to by Israel, the United States, Qatar, all of the regional players, and by the Europeans, which is an amazing achievement for the president.
Let’s be clear: Hamas has not accepted this deal yet, but the deal totally changes the game.
Why?
Because if everybody is on the same page but Hamas, that means that Hamas is totally isolated. And Hamas has relied on the kindness of strangers. Hamas has relied for this entire war on having the public relations of Qatar on its side, of having other countries in the Middle East on its side, and of having the Europeans on its side.
Just a week ago, we were talking about how the Europeans were moving steadily and not so gradually toward declaring a Palestinian state in the aftermath of the worst terror attack on Israel in its history and the worst attack on Jews since World War II. That is how badly things were going for Israel in the PR war.
That was because there is a strong drive among the “suicidally empathetic” — as the philosopher Gad Saad has said — in Europe to side with the people who wish to destroy Western civilization.
But now President Trump has now done something incredible. He has put together a deal that is workable, a deal that has now been signed off by the Israelis and from everybody else in the region. Even the Europeans have signed off on it.
Whenever you hear that a deal has been signed off on by everyone, the inclination is to say that it is a weak deal. That&#8217;s just the reality. And indeed, when you read the deal, you could find points where certainly quibbles would be necessary.

But overall, what President Trump has done here is to achieve the strategic goals of the West. He has allowed Israel to achieve its strategic goals in Gaza if Hamas were to accept this deal while allowing for a path forward.
Some points regarding the deal:
<blockquote>“Gaza will be a deradicalized terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbors.”</blockquote>
That’s more of a goal than it is an actual plan. Whether that goal is achieved depends on whether the rest of the plan is actually achieved.
<blockquote>“Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, will be returned.”</blockquote>
That is to prevent Hamas from basically dragging out this process. If we get to 73 hours and Hamas has not handed over hostages, Israel will have every right and capacity to go back in.
<blockquote>“Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1,700 Gazans who were detained after 7 October 2023, including all women and children detained in that context. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.” </blockquote>
This sort of math makes me insane. It has always made me insane. It is ridiculous for any Western country to trade live terrorists for hostages.
<blockquote>“Entry of distribution and aid in the Gaza Strip will proceed without interference from the two parties through the United Nations and its agencies, and the Red Crescent, in addition to other international institutions not associated in any manner with either party. Opening the Rafah crossing in both directions will be subject to the same mechanism implemented under the 19 January 2025 agreement.”</blockquote>
This should be a sticking point. Israel is giving a lot on this. The United Nations has been and will continue to be a tool for terrorism. It always has been. It will continue to be.
<blockquote>“Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the ‘Board of Peace,’ which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J. Trump, with other members and heads of state to be announced, including Former Prime Minister Tony Blair.”</blockquote>
This is Israel&#8217;s guarantee against the possibility that Hamas immediately reconstitutes and that the aid that flows in is somehow handed over directly to a reconstituted Hamas by another name. In reality, it&#8217;ll have to be run by Tony Blair with input from the United States, because the reality is that there are not a whole hell of a lot of “Palestinian moderates.”
And this brings us to the question of the Palestinian Authority.
According to the Trump plan:
<blockquote>“This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform program, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump&#8217;s peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.”</blockquote>
Let&#8217;s be real about that. It&#8217;s never going to happen. The Palestinian Authority is corrupt top to bottom. Every Arab and Jew in the region knows this. This is not a secret. The reality is the Palestinian Authority is wildly unpopular in Judea and Samaria, thanks to its incredible levels of corruption, thanks to the fact its leadership bilks the population and aid agencies out of literally billions of dollars.
The PA is never going to end up governing Gaza. They can&#8217;t even govern cities in Judea and Samaria, in Nablus and Jenin. They&#8217;re not going to govern any of these areas. So this is a pipe dream. Presumably, that pipe dream is put out there for the pleasure of various Arab nations who are signing on to President Trump&#8217;s agreement here.

Trump’s plan is going to be dependent on decent governance. Unfortunately, it is just a fact that the vast majority of Palestinians support terrorism. There is zero, literally zero evidence that Palestinians overall do not support terrorism. Every single Palestinian poll statistic ever taken shows a vast bulk of Palestinian Arabs supporting terrorism against Jews and the destruction of the State of Israel.
<blockquote>“Hamas and other factions agree not to have any role in the governance of Gaza directly, indirectly or in any form. All military terror and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt. There will be a process of demilitarization of Gaza under the supervision of independent monitors, which will include placing weapons permanently beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning, and supported by an internationally funded buy back and reintegration program all verified by the independent monitors.”</blockquote>
Why would Hamas accept the deal if they&#8217;re going to have no governance power in the Gaza Strip? Why would they give up the hostages?
Because if they have no hope, if it turns out that even their terror masters in Qatar aren’t behind them &#8230; But let&#8217;s be clear: Qatar plays both sides of the table. They always have. Qatar could have put pressure on Hamas to give up the hostages. On October 8, they could have.
Qatar did not do that. Instead, Qatar sponsored Hamas. Qatar apparently has joined in on the process of isolating Hamas. That is the only reason why this has happened and it is worthwhile noting the reason that Qatar did that, at least in part, is because they are quite concerned that if this war continues, Israel might say, you know what? It’s not worth it anymore. They go into Qatar and they kill Hamas members in Qatar.
And Qatar does not wish to be in the crossfire at this point. So that unsuccessful strike that Israel launched directly into Qatar to kill Hamas&#8217;s leadership may have been tactically unsuccessful, but it was strategically successful in putting pressure on Qatar to join the international consortium dedicated to ending Hamas rule over the Gaza Strip.
That would be the only reason why Hamas would give up the ghost here.
<blockquote>“The United States will work with Arab and international partners to develop a temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza.”</blockquote>
What&#8217;s important there is that this international stabilization force will not be a nontransparent force. It will have coordination, including Israel. Israel is simply not going to give up all eyes on the ground and trust the Egyptians and Jordanians, all of whom have been acting, by the way, in tacit consultation with Hamas throughout this conflict.
<blockquote>“While Gaza redeployment development advances, and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.”</blockquote>
Notice what that isn&#8217;t. That is not a recognition of a Palestinian state. That is not even a recognition of a real pathway toward a Palestinian state. It is a recognition that if gigantic changes happen on the ground and the Palestinian Authority somehow moderates and somehow does all of the reform, and that if all of these hurdles are jumped, then maybe at some point there&#8217;s a pathway to a Palestinian state.
What this doesn&#8217;t do is say there must be a Palestinian state in order for there to be a settlement in Gaza.
The Trump administration is making no bones about that. And now neither is the international community.
All in all, it’s a very good start.

There are various types of what I call “scavengers.”
There are “leeches,” people who seek to tear down the institutions of free markets because they believe that they are entitled to the gains of others.
There are the “lechers,” people who believe that the traditional family, the church, have to be torn asunder because those things are an imposition from the outside.
And then there are the “barbarians.”
The barbarians are people who emanate from places outside the United States, outside the West. And they see themselves as representatives of civilizations that have been laid low by the West. They believe that all of their failures are the fault of Western civilizations.

The barbarians never posit a moral justification for how the destruction of the Western order ought to operate at their hands. They never explain just how, for example, a Palestinian state is somehow a burgeoning wellspring of human rights, or how an America without American values would make the world a better place. The only thing that matters is the destruction of the West, for in that destruction lies the supposed reclamation of the barbarian identity.

Last Friday, there was a big gathering of barbarians over in Detroit, Michigan, called the People&#8217;s Conference for Palestine. It was attended by a sitting member of Congress, Rashida Tlaib along with a wide variety of people who talked about the evils of America. They talked about how the country they were sitting in, this place that has given them prosperity, that has given them freedom, was an awful place. All of its core values are evil and terrible and need to be destroyed because America is a bad place, and Western civilization is responsible for all the ills of the rest of the world.
If you&#8217;re wondering why there are so many people in the West right are now moving toward right-wing parties, it is because those right-wing parties are saying, “We don&#8217;t need more of these people in our civilization.”
We don&#8217;t.
One speaker quoted someone saying that “the average American will never understand the plight of the Palestinian person, because the State of Israel is a carbon copy of the United States, and therefore the thing to do is to destroy the idea of America in American&#8217;s heads so that they can see the humanity of everybody outside of the warping of American exceptionalism and imperialism and all these evil things. We have to dismantle this idea of American exceptionalism, of supremacy, of being beyond reproach.”
He continued, “We live in an evil country.”
So get out. You can leave any time now.
Remember, the people who are being defended here by this person are the terrorist group Hamas.
There was not a single speaker at this event who said that Hamas should surrender, go into exile, and disarm, thus ending the war in Gaza and simultaneously ending the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
That was never mentioned by any of these people, because, of course, the fault always lies with America. It lies with the West. It lies with Israel. Anyone successful in the world is supposed to be a repository of exploitation.
Another speaker intoned, “We wanted to globalize the intifada, to expose to the world that Israel&#8217;s policies have nothing to do with security, that Israel tries to tell the world, and that our governments also regurgitate gaslighting us. We thought that if we could get this message out, the world would wake up and not allow Israel to do this, to do what it&#8217;s doing. And I must admit, that was a bit of naiveté on our part. But we have and we will continue to globalize the intifada, and we will force our government to listen to us, because they want us to accept a world that is inacceptable.”
“Inacceptable?” You mean unacceptable.
In any case, putting aside the grammar, the bigger problem here is the fact that “globalize the intifada” is a phrase that calls for widespread violence. That is what an intifada is, a violent uprising. Anybody who claims otherwise is lying to you.

It&#8217;s also the enormous number of Americans who then side with the barbarians, because they don&#8217;t have confidence in their own civilization. They don&#8217;t have the belief in their own ideas to actually stand up to this garbage.
Lions are reflexively self-critical. What I mean by that is that in the West, there is actual moral merit to admitting your mistakes, to exposing yourself to the shame and ridicule of acknowledging guilt. That is something that good people tend to do.
Lions tend to do that because, after all, we live in a civilization, a Judeo-Christian biblically-based civilization, in which repentance is part of life. You&#8217;re supposed to acknowledge your sins so you can get stronger and get better.
The problem is that the barbarians and their allies are not interested in your proclamations of guilt. They&#8217;re not interested except to use it as a way to destroy you. They are interested in you shaming yourself. They want you to shame yourself and kneel before them so they can claim dominance. That&#8217;s the entire goal.
The co-founder of Doctors Against Genocide, last seen being ushered out of Congress after yelling at Marco Rubio during his confirmation hearings, called for the “taking out” of anyone who opposes his pro-terrorism agenda, saying they “need to be neutralized.”
This was in Detroit. Not in Qatar, or Iran.
This culminated with Rashida Tlaib, a sitting congresswoman from Michigan, ripping America and saying, “We are in your Congress.”
We know. We understand that the barbarian mentality is quite prevalent in our Congress.
“They thought they could kill us, rape us, and imprison us, violently, uproot us from our olive tree farms, starve our children to death, and we would disappear. Well, guess what? Now we&#8217;re in Congress and we&#8217;re in every corner of the United States,” she threatened. “We are just getting started.”
Yes, we understand that you have infiltrated Congress. We understand that. We understand there is a wide variety of people who have decided to stand in solidarity with all of this.
What is going to tear down the West is not just a West not confronted by the scavengers, but a West that allows the scavengers in; that somehow believes it is an aspect of its own greatness to allow the supremacy of people who wish to destroy its civilization.
That is the danger that lies within.
