Detransitioner Chloe Cole said that the debate around child sex-change treatments and the fact that it had reached the Supreme Court in itself is “insane.”
Cole appeared on &#8220;The Ben Shapiro Show&#8221; on Tuesday and slammed child sex-change surgeries. Cole, 20, was a victim of such procedures when she underwent a double mastectomy as a teenager.
“Arguing whether it&#8217;s ethical to castrate or disfigure a gender-confused child is ridiculous enough,” she told Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro. “But, also, that we&#8217;re arguing whether it&#8217;s constitutional or not is insane.”
“I mean, when the Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution, there is no way that they could foresee that people in the future would be using it as an excuse to perpetuate the institutional abuse of children,” she continued.

The Supreme Court heard arguments on Wednesday in the case over a Tennessee law that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-supreme-court-is-about-to-hear-a-major-child-gender-transition-case-heres-what-to-know" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bans</a> so-called “gender-affirming” surgeries or hormonal procedures on minors, including surgery, puberty blockers, and hormones. The Biden administration, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and several teenage plaintiffs are challenging the law on grounds that it violates the Constitution’s equal protection clause.
“It&#8217;s not discrimination at all, actually. We&#8217;re not discriminating against children of either sex or children who are trans-identifying,” Cole said. “We&#8217;re barring these treatments completely for the use of trying to transition children at all, regardless of how the child feels about it, how they identify.”
“Sure, a lot of people on the left will claim that this is a subversion of a parent’s rights and of children’s rights. But a parent, no adult has the right to harm a child. A parent&#8217;s rights end where it infringes on their child&#8217;s,” she added.

Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti’s office has argued that the “Constitution does not prevent the States from regulating the practice of medicine where hot-button social issues are concerned. People who disagree with restrictions on irreversible pediatric procedures for gender transition are free to advocate for change through state elections.”
Similar bills have been enacted in more than 20 states, therefore the Supreme Court’s decision could have a wide-ranging impact on laws regulating and banning sex-change surgeries for minors.
Cole appeared outside the Supreme Court on Wednesday to rally in support of the Tennessee bill.

A leftist activist who pushed for defunding the police has been accused of spending charitable donations to pay for “lavish vacations” and designer clothing, according to a lawsuit filed in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/washington-d-c" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Washington, D.C</a>. 
D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb <a href="https://oag.dc.gov/release/attorney-general-schwalb-sues-nonprofit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sued</a> Brandon Anderson and his police “accountability” organization Raheem AI on Monday, alleging violations of the district’s laws governing non-profits. Schwalb said that Anderson used donations given to the charity to go on expensive vacations to Mexico and to buy high-end clothing. 
“Brandon Anderson misused charitable donations to fund lavish vacations and shopping sprees, and the Raheem AI Board of Directors let him get away with it,” Schwalb said. “My office will not allow people to masquerade behind noble causes while violating the law, cheating taxpayers, or stealing from their workers.”
According to the lawsuit, Anderson used $75,000 of the non-profit&#8217;s funds for personal use, including $40,000 on a luxury vacation rental service, $10,000 on hotels and Airbnbs, $10,000 on designer clothing, and $5,000 on emergency veterinary services. The travel costs reportedly included a stay at a Cancun resort and he buying clothes from luxury retailers <a href="https://oag.dc.gov/sites/default/files/2024-11/11.25.2024%20Raheem%20AI%20Complaint%20Package%20%281%29.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">like</a> Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, Bloomingdales, Farfetch, and Saks.
Schwalb said that Anderson had “unrestricted control” of the organization’s money because there had been no treasurer since 2020 and its board had implemented no oversight precautions. 
The lawsuit seeks to dissolve the organization and make Anderson repay funds used for vacations and clothing. It also accuses Anderson of not paying the deputy director of the organization for her work. 
“Not only did their financial abuses violate fundamental principles of nonprofit governance, but Anderson and Raheem AI failed to pay their employee the wages they had earned,” Schwalb said.

Anderson, who launched his organization in 2017, has <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=691271211599982&amp;set=a.307670423293398" target="_blank" rel="noopener">promoted</a> “building a world without police” and has lectured on why “defunding the police is an important next step for the country.” The activist wanted to <a href="https://freebeacon.com/latest-news/defund-the-police-activist-misappropriated-75000-in-donations-dc-attorney-general-alleges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">replace</a> 911 calls, <a href="https://www.vice.com/en/article/police-abolitionists-are-building-a-dispatch-app-to-replace-911/?utm_source=chatgpt.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">telling</a> Vice in 2022 that he wanted to build “a consortium of care that meets the needs of communities during their crises and in conflict.” 
His claims about starting the non-profit to honor a fiancé killed by the police have been scrutinized by media outlets like the New York Times, which <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/25/us/brandon-anderson-rahim-ai.html#:~:text=No%20homicide%20in%20the%20entire,run%2Din%20with%20the%20police." target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that &#8220;no homicide in the entire state of Oklahoma&#8221; matched the incident described by Anderson.

Steve Daines, the Congressman wrote that “The censorship of the former Commanders logo was a classic case of woke gone wrong. I applaud the Commanders &amp; the NFL for their commitment to never censor the logo again.”
“And for working with the [Walter ‘Blackie’] Wetzel family to restore the logo to a place of prominence and honor to benefit Indian Country,” he added <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/11/24/opinion/un-erasing-redskins-history-one-small-defeat-for-americas-woke-stalinists/">mentioning</a> the “Native American artist who used Blackfoot chief John Two Guns White Calf as the inspiration for the logo the NFL team used for almost 50 years.&#8221;

Speaking to <a href="https://www.facebook.com/SteveDainesMT/videos/1545483619422825">Fox News</a>, Daines called out the “irony” that the woke mob was “canceling Native American culture, as in the DEI [Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion] movement went way too far.”
Earlier this year, a local D.C. news station came under fire when it was revealed that it was blurring or removing the logo in archival footage and photographs of the team, <a href="https://www.tampafp.com/d-c-area-tv-station-under-fire-for-censoring-former-washington-redskins-logo/">Tampa Free Press</a> noted. And in February, the NFL censored the logo on its X account when honoring previous Super Bowl winners, Daines noted during his remarks on the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/SteveDainesMT/videos/921539389496459">Senate floor</a>. He also pointed out that the team had been selling a shirt that also blocked the logo. 
Daines has said he would approve legislation for the building of a new stadium for the Commanders, as long as the team agreed to never censor the logo again or degrade it. That includes the team using the logo again in some shape or form, ie. in historical images, videos, merchandise, even using the logo if the team should want to use it throwback game jersey, etc., the <a href="https://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/news/after-blackfeet-logo-assurances-sen-daines-supports-rfk-stadium-bill-in-d-c/article_9d6d241c-a69f-11ef-aafd-779069e826a6.html">Bozeman Daily Chronicle</a> noted.

Un-erasing the logo would also mean that if Wetzel wanted to use the logo in a throwback uniform, or something created to be posted in the stadium, etc. he could, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/SteveDainesMT/videos/1490727504903229">Fox News</a> noted.
Wetzel&#8217;s grandson Ryan Wetzel said that he feels good that a plan will come about to honor his grandfather&#8217;s legacy, the <a href="https://dailymontanan.com/2024/11/19/daines-says-dc-can-move-ahead-with-football-plans-after-pledging-to-honor-logo-with-blackfeet-ties/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daily Montanan</a> reported.
“It’s exciting to even have that conversation after they said it (the logo) would be gone forever,” Wetzel said.

Incoming GOP Freshman Tom Barrett celebrated the bipartisanship from members of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/congress" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Congress</a> after he was able to take over the same office his great grandfather occupied nearly a century ago.
Earlier this week, the Republican &#8212; who flipped Michigan&#8217;s 7th Congressional District seat left open from Democrat Elissa Slotkin &#8212; sent out a letter to his new colleagues ahead of the freshmen lottery held in Congress that determines a new Representative&#8217;s office space, <a href="https://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/5002610-incoming-house-republican-tom-barrett-michigan/">The Hill</a> reported.
“I’ve shared with several of you that my great-grandfather, Louis Rabaut from Michigan, served here in Congress and was first elected 90 years ago in 1934,” the letter from Barrett, <a href="https://x.com/kv_swartz/status/1859585129259118764">posted on</a> social media, read.
“He died in office in 1961, long before I was born, so I never had the opportunity to meet him or ask him about his time in Congress, but his legacy is something my whole family is very proud of,” it added, noting that his family member occupied three different spaces in the Longworth House Office building.

The House of Representatives just took a big step towards purging <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/diversity-equity-and-inclusion-dei" target="_blank" rel="noopener">diversity, equity, and inclusion</a> (DEI) from the federal government.
On Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee passed Texas Rep. Michael Cloud&#8217;s &#8220;Dismantle DEI Act&#8221; on a party line vote, sending the bill to a full vote. The <a href="https://www.vance.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Dismantle-DEI-Act.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">48-page bill,</a> which The Daily Wire first reported on in June, would not only target federal offices and personnel but also contractors, training, education, grants, and more, and “ensure equal protection of the law, to prevent racism in the Federal Government.”
Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) introduced the Senate version of the bill before joining president-elect Donald Trump&#8217;s campaign.
&#8220;DEI initiatives falsely claim to promote fairness but instead institutionalize division, inefficiency, and discrimination,&#8221; Cloud told The Daily Wire on Wednesday. &#8220;These policies waste taxpayer dollars while eroding the merit-based principles that have been the cornerstone of America’s success.&#8221;
&#8220;The Dismantle DEI Act strikes at the heart of this harmful ideology, ensuring that our government is driven by excellence and equality—not divisive identity politics,&#8221; he argued. &#8220;It’s time to root out these discriminatory practices and restore a system that serves all Americans equally. I look forward to advancing this bill and challenging Congress to stand against this betrayal of our nation’s foundational values.&#8221;
Back in June, Vance had argued that &#8220;the DEI agenda is a destructive ideology that breeds hatred and racial division,&#8221; pointing to the many ways in which President Joe Biden&#8217;s administration leveraged racea nd sexuality-based employee associations to push left-wing policies throughout the United States.

Cloud mentioned a recent Do No Harm report that found the Biden administration had pursued over 500 DEI-related actions.
&#8220;These initiatives have not only failed to achieve their stated goals but have also resulted in absurd and wasteful programs that drain resources while dividing our nation,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Worse, they sometimes lead to unqualified individuals being placed in critical roles for the sake of meeting DEI benchmarks, jeopardizing efficiency and public safety.&#8221;
&#8220;Mr. Speaker, this is not progress,&#8221; he argued. &#8220;This is a dangerous detour that risks erasing the strides we’ve made toward a more perfect union. By dismantling these harmful policies, we can reaffirm our commitment to the ideals of equality, merit, and justice that make our nation great. Bill That Would Purge DEI From The Government One Step Closer To Becoming Law

Senate Republicans on Wednesday elected South Dakota Senator John Thune as the next leader of the conference. 
Thune defeated Texas Senator John Cornyn by a vote of 29 to 24. Florida Senator Rick Scott, an outsider candidate favored by prominent Trump allies including Elon Musk, was eliminated on the first ballot. Thune, 63, is the current Senate Republican Whip. Cornyn, 72, had been the whip in the past.
Thune will be the first new head of the Republican conference in nearly two decades, taking over after Senate Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced earlier this year that he would step down from the post after 18 years. McConnell leaves the role as the longest-serving conference leader in Senate history.
Senate Republican leadership elections are “first past the post,” meaning the eventual leader must receive a majority of the votes. Scott received the least amount of votes on the first ballot and dropped from the race. Thune received a majority on the second ballot. 

The new GOP leadership team will enter the Senate alongside Republican President Donald Trump in the White House and a Republican majority in the House. The Senate team will be primarily responsible for working with the White House to staff the incoming Trump administration and enact Republicans’ legislative priorities.

Despite the anticipation and public pressure, few senators revealed how they planned to vote in the secret ballot ahead of time.
Trump, who did not publicly weigh into the race, said on Sunday that he expected whoever won the leadership race to support recess appointments for his administration, which could allow the president to fill top roles in the government for two years without a vote in the Senate.
“Any Republican Senator seeking the coveted LEADERSHIP position in the United States Senate must agree to Recess Appointments (in the Senate!), without which we will not be able to get people confirmed in a timely manner,” Trump wrote in a post on X. “Sometimes the votes can take two years, or more. This is what they did four years ago, and we cannot let it happen again.”

Trump currently stands at 301 electoral votes to Harris&#8217; 226 with Arizona&#8217;s results still outstanding, and that state is also leaning toward Trump. During her speech, Harris said, &#8220;While I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fuels this campaign.&#8221;

Federal and local authorities in Washington, D.C., installed security fences around two locations on Sunday, preparing for potential protests and riots following the November 5 election.
Fences were erected around the White House and Vice President Kamala Harris&#8217; residence at the Naval Observatory, Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-security-fences-seen-around-key-dc-sites-ahead-election-day" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Washington, D.C., Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser said the enhanced security measures would continue through Inauguration Day in January. A statement from the Secret Service explained that the security fences &#8220;are not in response to any specific issue but are part of wide-ranging public safety preparations for Tuesday&#8217;s election.&#8221;
Last week, stores and restaurants in the nation&#8217;s capital boarded up windows in preparation for potential threats following the election results. NewsNation <a href="https://www.newsnationnow.com/politics/2024-election/dc-businesses-board-up-before-election-day/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that D.C. Police Chief Pamela A. Smith said the city is deploying 3,300 officers across the district. The officers will work 12-hour shifts and closely watch business districts and polling places.
“We will not tolerate any violence of any kind,” Smith <a href="https://www.newsnationnow.com/politics/2024-election/dc-businesses-board-up-before-election-day/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. “We will not tolerate the destruction of property. We will not tolerate any unlawful behavior. Offenders will be arrested and will be held accountable.”
In Florida, fencing is also going up around the Palm Beach County Convention Center, which is hosting former President Donald Trump&#8217;s election night watch party. West Palm Beach authorities also said there would be a designated area for protesters outside the convention center, but they are &#8220;expecting a smooth evening,&#8221; according to Mayor Keith James, WPBF ABC 25 <a href="https://www.wpbf.com/article/trump-election-watch-party-night-florida-traffic-security/62796881" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Trump is expected to appear at the watch party late Tuesday night.
&#8220;We expect hundreds, if not thousands, of media members and visitors to descend on the city because of election night,&#8221; said James. &#8220;I want the public to know that our West Palm Beach Police Department is ready, able and willing to perform the mission. Democrat-led New York State came under fire Saturday following the state killing of beloved social media sensation Peanut the Squirrel, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/internet-sensation-peanut-the-squirrel-euthanized-by-new-york-state-government?topStoryPosition=2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Daily Wire reported</a>. And while Peanut’s death may be shocking, it shouldn’t be surprising — Democrats have a history of animal cruelty.
In 2022, Capitol Police euthanized a wild fox affectionately — though unoriginally — nicknamed “Capitol Fox.” The Capitol Fox quickly became a <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/04/05/us/politics/fox-capitol-hill.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">viral sensation</a>, with reporters jostling for a sight of the vixen, and even asking Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) if he had seen the creature.
But after the Capitol Fox allegedly attacked Democrat Rep. Ami Bera (CA) and POLITICO reporter Ximena Bustillo, Capitol Police <a href="https://freebeacon.com/latest-news/health-officials-murder-fox-who-allegedly-bit-democrat-journalist/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">killed</a> the fox along with her three children. After the alleged “incident,” Bera <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/04/06/us/politics/capitol-hill-fox.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shared a photo</a> of himself smiling and holding up a picture of the fox, and expressed his wishes that the fox “and its family are safely relocated and wishing it a happy and prosperous future.”

As of this writing, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) has not commented on Peanut’s untimely demise. But she is not the first New York Democrat on whose watch harm has befallen famous creatures.
In 2014, then-New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio infamously <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/jun/15/bill-de-blasio-regrets-groundhog-death" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dropped</a> Charlotte the Groundhog at a Groundhog Day ceremony in the city. WASHINGTON, D.C.—With just a week until Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris made her closing arguments from the nation&#8217;s capital, casting former President Donald Trump as an agent of chaos while a protest raged on the outskirts of her rally.
Harris addressed the crowd at the Ellipse just north of the Washington Monument and in view of the White House, casting Trump as a “wannabe dictator” and a tyrant in a speech billed by her campaign and media alike as the candidate’s “closing argument.”
“America, we know what Donald Trump has in mind. More chaos. More division,” Harris said to the crowd, which her campaign claims included an estimated 75,000 attendees. “The United States of America is not a vessel for the schemes of wannabe dictators.”
Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, have <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/28/us/politics/kamala-harris-donald-trump-2024-election.html">sought to</a> label Trump a fascist and compare him to <a href="https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4956168-walz-trump-madison-square-garden-rally/">the Nazis</a>. These attacks contradict President Joe Biden&#8217;s call for Americans to “lower the temperature” after Trump narrowly escaped death when a would-be assassin attempted to kill him in Butler, Pennsylvania.
As Harris blasted Trump, far-left protesters gathered just outside the rally, often drowning out her speech with cries that Harris was complicit in genocide in Gaza.
The protesters jeered and <a href="https://x.com/SpencerLndqst/status/1851441144334573904">banged pots and pans</a> as Harris first took the stage as supporters of the Democratic candidate attempted to watch her on a screen. The clash is the latest evidence of a growing split in the Democratic Party, one that could impact Harris’ chances in swing states like Michigan, where there is a large Muslim population.

Other protesters held signs that encouraged or celebrated violence. <a href="https://x.com/SpencerLndqst/status/1851433558818373941">One protester held a sign that read</a> “vote with a f****** brick,” while another <a href="https://x.com/SpencerLndqst/status/1851434933987733539">held a sign</a> featuring pictures of what appeared to be Hamas terrorists. The man also wore a headband associated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a designated terrorist organization that believes in revolutionary communism.
Police maintained separation between the Harris supporters and the far left-demonstrators, though the two groups engaged in <a href="https://x.com/SpencerLndqst/status/1851443816424751555">shouting matches</a> at times, with the protesters calling the supporters of the Democratic candidate “shameful.”
Throughout her speech, Harris called Trump an authoritarian and a threat to the country.
“This election is more than a choice between two parties and two different candidates. It is a choice about whether we have a country rooted in freedom for every American. Or one ruled by chaos and division,” Harris said at the outset.
“We all know who Donald Trump is. He is the person who stood at this very spot nearly four years ago and sent an armed mob to the United States Capitol to overturn the will of the people in a free and fair election that he knew he lost,” she went on to say.
Trump <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXy7Dwi3Khc">addressed the speech</a> at a rally in North Carolina, saying that &#8220;all she talked about was Donald Trump,&#8221; before playing a supercut of Harris saying his name during closing argument. &#8220;She and Joe have no achievements, only failure,&#8221; he said before making light of her speech. &#8220;She suffers from a very serious disease called Trump derangement syndrome &#8230; sometime referred to as TDS, it&#8217;s quite serious.&#8221;
Harris again cast Trump as an authoritarian in the final moments of her speech, likening her opponent to King George III.
“Nearly 250 years ago, America was born when we wrested freedom from a petty tyrant,” Harris stated. “They did not struggle, sacrifice, and lay down their lives, only to see us cede our fundamental freedoms, only to see us submit to the will of another petty tyrant.”
In addition to presenting Trump as a dangerous authoritarian, Harris also emphasized her stance on abortion and the economy, which her supporters frequently identify as their top issues.
“I will fight to restore what Donald Trump and his hand-picked Supreme Court Justices took away from the women of America,” she said, referencing abortion and the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
“Trump isn’t done. He would ban abortion nationwide, restrict access to birth control and put IVF at risk, and force states to monitor women’s pregnancies,” she went on to say despite Trump repeatedly telling voters that he would leave abortion to the states.
“I will enact the first-ever federal ban on price gouging on groceries, cap the price of insulin, and limit out-of-pocket prescription costs for all Americans. I will fight to make sure that hard working Americans can actually afford a place to live,” she said, addressing the cost of living.
Current polling averages show Trump <a href="https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2024/trump-vs-harris">leading</a> Harris by slim margins in the key swing states of Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia, with the Democratic candidate holding leads in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Many in our nation see the topic of life only as a cause that divides. Each year at the National March for Life in Washington, D.C., our humble voices and peaceful presence serve as a reminder of the beauty and dignity of every human life, and as an invitation to all Americans to recognize this truth and to serve the most vulnerable.
Now, more than ever, we must come together to witness to the inherent dignity of life.
In the two years since the Dobbs decision, the pro-life community has faced many challenges. We have battled relentless and radical pro-abortion proposals at both the state and federal level. Pro-abortion politicians have been using their power to discredit the life-saving work of pregnancy resource centers at a time when these charitable organizations have been suffering widespread threats, physical violence, and vandalism. Moreover, deadly misinformation campaigns surrounding state-level pro-life protections are scaring doctors and women away from addressing pregnancy-related medical emergencies even though <a href="https://lozierinstitute.org/pro-life-laws-protect-mom-and-baby-pregnant-womens-lives-are-protected-in-all-states/#_ftnref1">none of these laws</a> prohibit life-saving care.
Extreme abortion measures that would enshrine a dangerous &#8220;right to abortion&#8221; into several state constitutions will be on the ballot this November. In Massachusetts, Attorney General Andrea Campbell has initiated a national “working group” of state AGs to target the work of pregnancy resource centers (PRCs) and Governor Maura Healy launched a million-dollar<a href="https://www.mass.gov/news/healey-driscoll-administration-launches-first-in-the-nation-public-education-campaign-on-the-dangers-of-anti-abortion-centers" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> taxpayer-funded</a> smear campaign aimed at discrediting and destroying them.
Attacks like these harm vulnerable pregnant women who most need the <a href="https://pregnancycarealliance.com/resources/2023-impact-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">resources and support</a> that PRCs provide. The result is that PRCs are forced to divert attention and resources from serving women in need, toward defending themselves against political and physical attacks – all because they offer alternatives to abortion. 
Pro-abortion misinformation campaigns promoting the Democrats’ vision of abortion without limits have tragically contributed to the preventable deaths of Georgia mothers Amber Thurman and Candi Miller. Pro-abortion activists, who for two years have been spreading the false narrative that state-level pro-life protections prevent doctors from treating mothers with serious pregnancy complications, are rightly described as “<a href="https://www.mediaite.com/opinion/propublicas-misleading-abortion-ban-stories-are-part-of-the-problem/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">part of the problem</a>.” Those who fearmonger about pro-life protections would serve women far better if they admitted that complications from the unsupervised provision of abortion drugs caused the complications leading to Amber’s and Candi’s heartbreaking and untimely deaths.
Some pro-life Americans may feel overwhelmed or discouraged by these and many other challenges we face right now as a community. But while the landscape in which we work towards making abortion unthinkable will always have its ups and downs, the value and inherent dignity of vulnerable women and children never changes. Likewise, our resolve to protect and provide for them must never waver.
That is why for the 52nd National March for Life we chose a theme that reminds pro-life Americans of our roots &#8211; the reasons why we march by the thousands each year in the freezing cold, snow, and rain. We hope that reflecting on this year’s theme: “Every Life: Why We March” will be a source of the renewed energy and focus so needed for this moment. 
We march, not for ourselves, but rather for the pregnant women across the country who are in need of love and support. We march for the innocent unborn children who deserve a chance to live, to have a future, if only they are given the chance. We march also for our neighbors, co-workers, and elected officials who do not yet see the truth: that all human life is intrinsically valuable and worthy of protection.
For the past 52 years and again this year, pro-life Americans will unite from across all generations and all walks of life, with unique backgrounds and stories, to be a peaceful presence and joyful witness to this truth – and to march in love and protection of every human life.

Conservative credit card company <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/by-conservatives-for-conservatives-new-credit-card-offers-alternative-to-americans-fed-up-with-woke-businesses" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Coign</a> donated over $15,000 to a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/washington-d-c" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Washington, D.C</a>., based crisis pregnancy center that vandals targeted after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. 
On Thursday, Coign presented the <a href="https://www.capitolhillpregnancycenter.org/services.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center</a> with a check for $15,496.32 after it was chosen by users of its VISA-backed credit card as a charity recipient. The pregnancy center was <a href="https://www.dailysignal.com/2022/06/03/d-c-pregnancy-center-vandalized-jane-says-revenge/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vandalized</a> in June 2022, with red paint splashed all over the front door and the words “Jane’s Revenge” graffitied on the wall. 
Cassie Smedile, the vice president of Coign, told The Daily Wire that the donation was part of the company’s mission to change corporate culture dominated by the Left. 
“While liberals try to literally tear down and desecrate businesses and organizations, conservatives lift them up,” she said. “Coign is harnessing the power of raw American commerce to not only force corporations to respect conservatives’ views and values, but to also be a force for good in the process.”
Coign donates portions of its transaction fees to conservative organizations chosen each quarter by cardholders.
Smedile said their donation to Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center “will allow them to dedicate more resources to mom and dads navigating unplanned pregnancies.”

During the check presentation, pregnancy center director Janet Durig said she felt violated after the facility was vandalized. She said that the center had helped patients as young as 11 and 12 with pregnancy tests. 
“Where else would she have gone?&#8221; she said speaking of the 12-year-old, who was pregnant. &#8220;Where did her mother feel safe to bring her? And so I felt violated for all the people that we’ve helped and we continue to help. And the fact that when the public was hating us and misjudging us they’re also hating a woman who chooses to keep her baby and that makes no sense to me.”
Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center is a Christian organization that says it “serves the Gospel of Jesus Christ by providing intervention and abortion alternatives for women and men facing crisis pregnancies.”
Its services, which include pregnancy testing, childbirth education, parenting classes, maternity and baby clothing, are all free. 
Washington, D.C., has some of the loosest abortion laws in the country, allowing abortions at any time in the pregnancy for any reason.
