A trailer carrying fireworks ignited a pre-Fourth of July spectacle on Saturday evening, forcing authorities to shut down a Tennessee highway.
The Chattanooga Fire Department shared a video of the flaming trailer, which showed pyrotechnic sparks flying in all directions on the northbound Interstate 75 past the Ooltewah exit. 
The Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department was also on the scene, and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/tricommunityvolunteerfire">said</a>, &#8220;As a precaution, both northbound and southbound lanes of I-75 were temporarily shut down due to ongoing firework explosions and to allow fire apparatus safe access to the scene,&#8221; leaving traffic at a standstill.

 The department “received mutual aid assistance from Chattanooga Fire Department at the scene, along with fill-in coverage from Catoosa County [Georgia] and Highway 58 fire departments to help maintain emergency response coverage throughout our district.”
A spokesman for the Chattanooga Fire Department <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/video-captures-fireworks-exploding-burning-trailer-shut-interstate-75?lid=n0smsdify2wp">told</a> Fox News that northbound lanes were closed longer than the southbound lanes as crews monitored the scene and cleared the scorched trailer from the highway.
Authorities have not released any information on the cause of the fire or where the trailer was being transported. No injuries were reported. 
<a href="https://www.tn.gov/commerce/fire/permit/licensing/fireworks/applications-resources/displays.html">According</a> to Tennessee law, “Consumer” fireworks can be “used without a display permit, as long as local authorities have approved any necessary safety measures,” whereas larger “Professional” fireworks require a “Fireworks Display Permit with the State of Tennessee.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced late Thursday that the State Department was not going to issue any additional work visas for commercial truck drivers, at least for the time being.

Rubio&#8217;s announcement comes after an accident involving an immigrant from India — who received a work permit under former President Joe Biden and a commercial driver&#8217;s license from the state of California — resulted in the deaths of three American citizens in Florida.
As The Daily Wire previously reported, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/illegal-given-commercial-drivers-license-by-californias-newsom-charged-in-fatal-semi-truck-crash" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Harjinder Singh</a>, who entered the United States illegally in 2018, was granted a commercial driver’s license in California. He made an illegal turn from the outside lane at a spot marked “Official Use Only,” and his truck crushed a minivan that had been driving in the inside lane. Singh has since been arrested for vehicular homicide and was slapped with an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer.

It’s great to be back after a long Christmas break. Much has happened in the world since my last post. Today, however, I’d like to begin with a story that’s unfolding in New York. 
There’s one thing we know: Government officials, whether they&#8217;re elected politicians in this country or despots in the third world, do not like being reminded of their failures. This is why the greatest crime in any dictatorship is noticing. You aren’t supposed to notice things that are embarrassing to the ruling regime. It’s also why comedy and satire are banned in places like North Korea, just like they&#8217;re banned on late-night talk shows in this country. Petty, corrupt and ineffective people can&#8217;t stand it when their incompetence is exposed. They&#8217;re willing to take extreme measures to prevent that from happening. Right now, in the city of New York, we&#8217;re getting a very clear sense of what those &#8220;extreme measures&#8221; look like, in practice.
If you&#8217;ve seen the news lately, you know that the subway system is one of the most obvious and unavoidable signs of New York&#8217;s decline. It&#8217;s a monument to the many failures of the city government. As of late last year, ridership on New York&#8217;s subway system is <a href="https://gothamist.com/news/nyc-subway-ridership-hits-new-milestone-but-still-far-short-of-pre-pandemic-levels" target="_blank" rel="noopener">down</a> more than 25% from pre-pandemic levels. That means that, every day, there are at least a million fewer people riding the subway in New York, as compared to five years ago.
It&#8217;s not exactly a great mystery as to why people are avoiding it. There&#8217;s a constant stream of violent attacks on the trains and the platforms — from people being <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/assailant-charged-after-allegedly-shoving-man-directly-iin-path-of-oncoming-ny-subway-train" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pushed in front of the trains</a> to a woman getting <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nypd-identifies-woman-burned-to-death-on-subway" target="_blank" rel="noopener">burned alive</a>. Yes, if you didn’t hear about that, a woman was burned alive, on a train, in New York, in front of a crowd of people. This is what’s happening now in the third world country known as New York City. And that&#8217;s just within the last few weeks. These attacks are effectively endorsed and enabled by New York&#8217;s government, which has made the political decision not to incarcerate most criminals.
That explains why a man named Jamar Banks was able to use the subway the other day. The New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/01/05/us-news/madman-accused-of-two-nyc-train-stabbings-is-busted-carrying-large-knife-sources/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reports</a> that, &#8220;A subway maniac with 87 prior arrests was just busted for two transit stabbings — carrying the large knife he allegedly used in the violence &#8230; Banks&#8217; rap sheet includes arrests for alleged attempted murder, weapons possession, assault, criminal trespassing, turnstile jumping and petty larceny.&#8221;
If politicians in New York didn&#8217;t want to destroy the city, they&#8217;d immediately throw every criminal like Jamar Banks in prison. They&#8217;d start enforcing the law. It’s actually not hard to prevent people from getting randomly stabbed, torched, or thrown in front of trains. This is a very easy issue to address. The city could effectively end all of this madness overnight, in one fell swoop, if they wanted to. All you have to do is take all the people who are already known violent criminals and put them in prison. Then you have to ban homeless people from setting up camp in the tunnels or on the trains, and arrest anyone who causes a disturbance. This could all be done in one day.

But none of that is happening. Instead, rather than admit they&#8217;ve failed their constituents, politicians in New York have just decided to compel citizens to use the subway. They&#8217;ve opted to make it financially untenable for most New Yorkers to avoid public transit. That&#8217;s their solution to the fact that no one in the city wants to ride the subway anymore. They&#8217;re going to force them to do it.
I&#8217;m talking about so-called &#8220;congestion pricing.&#8221; After several years of debate, this &#8220;congestion pricing&#8221; has just taken effect in Manhattan. In essence, this is a tax on anyone who wants to drive a vehicle into the heart of New York during work hours — as if it wasn&#8217;t already expensive enough to live in that diseased, rat-infested, crime-riddled, reeking, filthy, godforsaken hellhole of a city. This new tax is a very clear effort to force New Yorkers to use the subway system, which has become an international embarrassment. People don’t want to use it because they don’t want to be assaulted by schizophrenic vagrants. So the solution isn’t to get rid of the schizophrenic vagrants. Instead it’s to simply force everyone to use it, basically offering law abiding citizens up as sacrifices to the dregs of the community.
Specifically, this new tax covers the vast majority of vehicles entering Manhattan between 60th Street and the Battery, which includes Times Square, Hell&#8217;s Kitchen, the theater district, and other high-traffic areas. From 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m on weekends — which is obviously a huge block of time — the so-called &#8220;peak period toll rate&#8221; is in effect. For all &#8220;passenger and small commercial vehicles,&#8221; that toll rate is $9.00 during the peak period.
To be clear about the political dynamics here, the majority of New Yorkers oppose congestion pricing, as far as I can tell. A Sienna College <a href="https://abc7ny.com/nyc-congestion-pricing-nearly-two-thirds-of-new-yorkers-oppose-plan-siena-college-poll-finds/14721916/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">survey</a> from last summer found that nearly two-thirds of people living in the city didn&#8217;t want a $15.00 &#8220;congestion toll.&#8221;
In response to the outcry, the governor of New York briefly suspended the plan. Then she said she&#8217;d lower the toll a few dollars, claiming it would save New Yorkers some money. To reiterate, she claimed she was saving New Yorkers money by taking less of their money than she was originally going to take. This was a prime example of political &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUMgX7-yZZs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">girl math</a>,&#8221; as I outlined at the time. And now it&#8217;s taken effect.
Naturally, some Left-wing New Yorkers rallied in response to their government gouging them even more. But instead of rallying against it, they actually rallied to thank their overlords for the privilege of being bilked by them. Some of these scenes are so absurd that they don&#8217;t even seem like they can be real.

Yes, you just heard someone shouting, &#8220;Happy congestion pricing.&#8221; They are celebrating the implementation of an unprecedented tax, as if it&#8217;s a national holiday.
 This would seem to be boot-licking taken to an unparalleled extreme, and it is. But we should also understand that really they&#8217;re celebrating the fact that, because of this tax, wealthy New Yorkers will have to contend with fewer working class people on the roads in Manhattan. The same people who celebrated the assassination of the health care CEO as some kind of twisted &#8220;victory for the little guy&#8221; are very, very happy about using a tax to keep poor people away from them.

That&#8217;s a pretty big clue that none of these people actually care about &#8220;the little guy.&#8221; If you ask them, of course, they&#8217;ll pretend otherwise. In particular, they&#8217;ll say that congestion pricing is necessary because it will help pay for improvements to the subway system. 
For example, when the governor briefly halted the plan for congestion pricing last summer, this was the response:

If you want to explain to someone how cities like New York are collapsing, just show them that clip. According to the residents of New York, it&#8217;s a &#8220;great betrayal&#8221; that the government isn&#8217;t taxing them enough. That is how these people think.
To be fair, the first guy was arguably a little less pathetic. He was talking about all of the alleged benefits that will result from congestion pricing. He&#8217;s saying they&#8217;ll be able to improve the subway system to make it more &#8220;accessible,&#8221; which is a talking point a lot of these protesters used. Watch:

One of the many false assumptions these people are making is that more money will improve the subway system. But that&#8217;s not true. And we know that because the New York subway system is a comically obvious example of waste and mismanagement in government.
For example, the Second Avenue subway that was recently constructed in Manhattan somehow cost more money than any other similar subway system on the planet — by a lot. As <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-02-23/in-nyc-subway-a-case-study-in-runaway-transit-construction-costs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bloomberg reports</a>: &#8220;At $2.5 billion per mile, construction costs for the 1.8-mile Phase 1 of the Second Avenue Subway were 8 to 12 times more expensive than similar subway projects in Italy, Istanbul, Sweden, Paris, Berlin and Spain.&#8221;
So that&#8217;s one potential way to raise revenue, right off the bat. They could stop lighting money on fire. Secondly, if you&#8217;re worried about congestion in Manhattan, you could try a lot of things besides charging people to drive their cars. You could, for example, try opening more lanes, instead of closing them for cyclists and construction. Anyone who&#8217;s ever driven through Manhattan could tell you that. Here&#8217;s one example:

This is something no one ever mentions as a possible solution. Get rid of the stupid bike lanes. You’ll find this same thing in cities all over the country. You have to sit in traffic because the city has blocked off entire lanes so that people can ride their bicycles in the street. As I’ve said many times, they might as well block off lanes so that you can use your ab roller or bench press in the middle of the street. If you want to exercise — that’s great, I support it. But you shouldn’t be doing it in the road when everyone is trying to commute to work.
One of the arguments you&#8217;ll hear from these activists is that, somehow, this new tax will reduce carbon emissions and change the weather and save the planet. This is science, you see. Step 1: you pay a toll. Step 3: hurricanes stop happening. The problem is that Step 2 is a bit foggy. And anyway, even if you assume that reducing carbon emissions by a tiny amount will change the weather for the better, it’s a moot point, because this won’t actually reduce carbon emissions. Instead, traffic is going to move elsewhere. People living in New Jersey understand that pretty well, which is why they&#8217;re suing to stop this tax.

But regardless, even if you don&#8217;t buy any of the counter-arguments — even if you think that New York&#8217;s government urgently needs more money to improve the subway — it&#8217;s still not clear why &#8220;congestion pricing&#8221; is the best way to raise that revenue. Why not raise taxes on those evil corporations that the Left claims to hate so much? Why are they raising taxes on regular citizens instead?
It only makes sense when you realize, again, that the objective is to force more people into public transit, and get them off the roads.
Admittedly, this whole fiasco may seem irrelevant to anyone who has the good sense to not live in New York. But this sort of madness can be found, in varying degrees, wherever Democrats have power. The idea that Trump’s re-election would be some kind of wake up call for Democrats is a fantasy. They can’t be woken up because they aren’t asleep or in some sort of trance. They’re doing exactly what they want, and their policies are having precisely the effect they intend.

You&#8217;ll notice that everyone is standing against the wall, because they don&#8217;t want to get pushed on the tracks by some psycho. It&#8217;s straight-up dystopian and you have to wonder how long people will put up with it.
If there’s any waking up that can happen and must happen, it’s among the average citizens in places like New York. If they ever come to their senses and realize that the people they put in power are actively and intentionally making their lives worse in just about every measurable way, then maybe things will start to change for the better.
Unfortunately, for everyone living in New York, based on the celebrations we&#8217;re seeing in support of &#8220;congestion pricing&#8221; — which is really a tax on using your own property and going about your daily life — it doesn&#8217;t look like that will happen any time soon.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) posted a video to social media on Tuesday showing how he believes drivers should handle far-left protesters who sit in the street and block traffic.
Cotton promoted the video on X just a day after calling for people to confront protesters who block traffic and remove them from the road.
&#8220;I encourage people who get stuck behind the pro-Hamas mobs blocking traffic: take matters into your own hands to get them out of the way,&#8221; Cotton posted on X on Monday. &#8220;It’s time to put an end to this nonsense.&#8221;
Cotton’s remarks came as far-left pro-Palestinian protesters blocked roads across the country on Monday to protest Israel, which just endured an attack from Iran over the weekend.
The most notable examples of protesters blocking roads included Interstate 190 leading into O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and Manhattan-bound traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City.
Other examples included protesters shutting down Interstate 5 in Oregon, streets in Philadelphia, and the main road leading to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Cotton then on Tuesday posted a video clip from late 2022 in France that showed a group of drivers getting out of their vehicles and dragging the protesters off the road so motorists could pass.

TikTok celebrity and UFC promoter Hasbulla Magomedov was arrested on Sunday for violating traffic laws after blocking traffic and doing doughnuts on a main road with his entourage of friends after attending a wedding in the republic of Dagestan, Russia.
Hasbulla, 20, and six others were seen obstructing traffic by drifting in the middle of a highway with their vehicles in a video posted by Red Corner MMA. The video also showed him and his friends taken into custody and charged with administrative violations.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dagestan said on <a href="https://t.me/mvd_dagestan/3604" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Telegram</a>, &#8220;Unbridled wedding fun in Dagestan is known to many and extends far beyond the borders of the republic.&#8221;
&#8220;In the absence of other types of entertainment, such a primitive option is still extremely popular – blocking roads, burning rubber, smashing cars against each other, and many other features that, in fact, have nothing to do with the celebration and holiday of the young,&#8221; the agency said.
“All participants of ‘wedding emotions,’ as they themselves call it, were taken to the police, and in relation to them, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan drew up administrative protocols for all violations.&#8221;
Hasbulla, who rose to fame during the pandemic after posting clips of himself driving a motorized scooter and lecturing a kid riding a bicycle about COVID restrictions, stands just over 3 feet tall due to a form of dwarfism caused by a growth hormone deficiency that affected his height and voice.
Hasbulla&#8217;s Instagram account, which has amassed over 8 million followers, apologized for the incident following his arrest.
&#8220;We decided to hype a little bit,&#8221; the post reads. &#8220;That won&#8217;t happen again, people. We apologise. We had to answer for it a little bit. I wasn&#8217;t driving either.&#8221;
Hasbulla&#8217;s official Twitter account has posted: &#8220;#FreeBulla.&#8221;
It was not immediately known if Hasbulla and his entourage would face any time in jail.

The city announced on Wednesday that the social media posts were intended to encourage safe driving and warn commuters about the dangers of distracted driving.
&#8220;We hope the social media posts encourage the community to make good choices on the road this holiday season by planning a safe ride home and avoiding distractions,&#8221; a city spokesman said. &#8220;In this series of posts, we are continuing to focus on the prime behaviors that cause severe crashes – speed, distraction, intoxication and failing to yield – and we hope the messaging will raise awareness in the community to travel safely this holiday season.&#8221;
The city had previously put out a series of messages about “Frothy the Snowman,” showing images of a cartoon snowman clasping a bottle of whiskey.

A new <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/california">California</a> law forgave around $50 million of San Francisco’s traffic fine debts, and is expected to forgive around $500 million debts statewide. 
The $50 million accounted for approximately 180,000 traffic tickets, according to a <a href="https://sftreasurer.org/san-francisco-financial-justice-project-announces-50-million-outstanding-debt-eliminated-tens">press release</a> from the San Francisco Treasurer’s Office. Anne Stuhldreher, director for the treasurer’s Financial Justice Project, one of the principal instigators of the legislation, asserted that local courts shouldn’t fund themselves directly from the fees they impose. 
“California should not fund our local courts by asking the courts to impose fees that they benefit from. Courts should be funded separate and apart from these fees,” said Stuhldreher. “Eliminating the debt from this unfair and unnecessary fee and lowering it is a commonsense reform and an important step forward.”
The San Francisco Treasurer’s Office <a href="https://sfgov.org/financialjustice/">established</a> the Financial Justice Project to discover and change fines and fees that adversely or disproportionately impact minority or low-income individuals.
The law — <a href="https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=202120220AB199">Assembly Bill 199</a>, part of the state’s budget bill  — eliminated fees issued before July 1 and provided $10 million in backfill to the courts. It also reduces the civil assessment fee, or late fee, from $300 to $100. Those late fees will now go to California’s general fund rather than the local court.
The bill also expanded eligibility for automatic filing fee waivers to those within 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines, those participating in the state’s supplemental nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), and those receiving unemployment compensation.
According to one of the assembly members that introduced the bill, Phil Tang (D-San Francisco), the main point of the bill was equity. He estimated that late fees were extracting $100 million, which he <a href="https://abc7news.com/assembly-bill-199-california-late-traffic-fees-bay-area-court-remove-fines/12102102/">claimed</a> in an interview with ABC7 News disproportionately impacted low-income families.
&#8220;Unfortunately for too long, our courts have been relying on low-income individuals paying civil assessments to fund many of their operations,” said Ting. 
However, California legislators didn’t come up with the idea for the bill. 
A coalition of activist groups, the Debt Free Justice California (DFJC), pushed the California Assembly and Governor Gavin Newsom to pass the bill. DFJC members include the ACLUs of Northern and Southern California, the Insight Center for Community Economic Development, the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, PolicyLink, and San Francisco’s Financial Justice Project.
The debt forgiveness legislation was largely patterned after a March <a href="https://lccrsf.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Civil-Assessments-Issue-Brief_v3.pdf">report</a> authored by DFJC and the San Francisco treasurer’s Financial Justice Project claiming that civil assessments, or late fees, were a “poverty penalty” that impacted “Black and brown people” unfairly.
Yet, DFJC said that this latest debt forgiveness law didn’t go far enough. Rio Scharf, a representative of one of the coalition’s member organizations, <a href="https://ebclc.org/cadebtjustice/media/">claimed</a> in a June press release that the state was perpetuating racism and poverty by not eliminating late fees entirely.
“Governor Newsom had the opportunity to eliminate this racist and regressive fee and didn’t step up,” said Scharf. “The continuation of civil assessments will burden many more Californians and undermine the very financial relief the governor seeks to deliver through this year’s budget.”

Local authorities warned of road delays while the president is in town because of increased security measures.
“All relevant entities have been contacted by the President’s security team to coordinate efforts to minimize the impact of the presidential visit on the community,” officials <a href="https://www.counton2.com/news/local-news/charleston-county-news/kiawah-island-encourages-patience-during-president-bidens-visit/">said</a> in a statement.
“In any case, please be patient during traffic interruptions, as the timing of the President’s movements cannot be announced beforehand for security reasons,&#8221; the statement continued.
According to the island&#8217;s <a href="https://www.kiawahisland.org/">website</a>, Kiawah is an &#8220;oasis of untouched natural beauty and renowned hospitality for those seeking a retreat into adventure and luxury. On Monday, The Wall Street Journal <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/biden-schedule-is-heavy-on-delaware-light-on-press-interviews-11659963621">reported</a> that in the president&#8217;s first year and a half in office, he has traveled to Delaware 46 times, Camp David 18 times, while playing 15 rounds of golf. He has also conducted 17 formal press conferences and 20 sit-down interviews during that time.
 The Journal also noted that at this point in their presidencies, Biden had spent more days on personal travel than Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
Biden&#8217;s August vacation in 2021 at Camp David was cut short after just three days because the Taliban had taken over Afghanistan as U.S. troops withdrew after 20 years in the Middle Eastern nation.
The Washington Post <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/biden-afghanistan-camp-david/2021/08/16/979c17c8-feaf-11eb-ba7e-2cf966e88e93_story.html">reported</a> at the time, &#8220;One close Biden foreign policy ally, who is in regular contact with the White House and the State Department, said the president’s team would never have let him leave for Camp David had they known just how quickly Afghanistan would implode amid his decision to withdraw all U.S. troops by the end of the month.&#8221;
Once Biden was back in the White House, he admitted that the Taliban&#8217;s takeover happened more rapidly than he expected and blamed the calamity on the Afghan army and political leaders.
“I stand squarely behind my decision,” Biden <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/biden-afghanistan-camp-david/2021/08/16/979c17c8-feaf-11eb-ba7e-2cf966e88e93_story.html">said</a> during an address regarding the withdrawal. “After 20 years, I’ve learned the hard way that there was never a good time to withdraw U.S. forces.&#8221;
“The truth is, this did unfold more quickly than we had anticipated,” Biden continued. “So what’s happened? Afghanistan political leaders gave up and fled the country. The Afghan military collapsed, sometimes without trying to fight.”

A desperate parolee tangled with climate protesters blocking the road on July 4th, begging them repeatedly to open up just one lane of traffic so that he could make it to his court-mandated job.
The man walked up and down the line of <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/climate-protestors-arrested-for-blocking-rush-hour-traffic-in-nyc/">protesters</a>, who were all wearing bright yellow reflective vests and sitting cross-legged across the highway and blocking all lanes of traffic. Lines of cars stretched into the distance, held up by the protest, but just the one man had gotten out of his vehicle to address the <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/dem-senator-dodges-question-about-arresting-protesters-outside-scotus-justices-homes/">protesters</a> directly.

The protesters remained unmoved, and one repeated calmly that he was demanding President Joe Biden &#8220;declare a Climate Emergency.&#8221;
The man continued to walk the line of protesters, snatching signs and banners and physically shoving one man, also wearing a reflective vest, who tried to give the banners back, at which point the woman intervened and steered him away to prevent the situation from escalating.

The situation did escalate, however, and the man got in the face of another activist as police began to arrive.

In the video, emergency crews driving two trucks could be seen attempting to corral the errant bovine, steering it off the road and onto the grass along the highway. Once they had succeeded in doing that, two cowboys entered the scene on horseback and gave chase.
One quickly rode up alongside the cow and lassoed its neck — and the other rode in from the side, attempting to get control of the animal&#8217;s hind legs. Within a few moments, they had successfully and safely wrangled the cow and gotten it off the road.
The reporter in the KOCO Sky 5 chopper appeared to either have seen just such a chase from his elevated perch in the past — or to have his own experience in similar situations — because he could be heard giving a play-by-play as the scene unfolded on the ground.
&#8220;Get it, get it, get it, get it, stay on him, stay on him &#8230; Yes!&#8221; he cheered as the first cowboy approached the cow, lasso swinging over his head, and successfully tossed the first rope over its neck.
&#8220;Bring it on in, you got it, you got it, woohoo!&#8221; he continued as the cowboy eased the rope back, pulling out the slack and tightening the rope. &#8220;That is awesome.&#8221;
Then the second cowboy rode into the frame, and the commentary picked up again.
&#8220;Now — get the hinds. Get the hinds,&#8221; he encouraged, and once that was done, he admonished the cowboys, &#8220;Get off the horse, get off the horse &#8230;&#8221;
One of the cowboys did dismount at that point, walking over to the cow to make sure it was safely secured before they attempted to get it to its feet and off the road.
