<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Today” show’s Hoda Kotb definitely got everyone’s attention when she announced she was leaving as host to focus on raising her two kids after nearly three decades on NBC News.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Thursday, the 60-year-old NBC host said that when she celebrated turning 60 last month, it prompted her to make a change in her lifestyle and that was stepping down as host and spending more time with her daughters, Haley, 7, and Hope, 5, the “</span><a href="https://www.today.com/news/hoda-kotb-leaving-today-show-rcna172812"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Today</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">” show reported.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;I realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60, and to try something new,&#8221; Kotb said. &#8220;I remembered standing outside looking at these beautiful bunch of people with these gorgeous signs, and I thought, &#8216;This is what the top of the wave feels like for me.'&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“And I thought it can&#8217;t get better, and I decided that this is the right time for me to kind of move on,” she added. &#8220;Obviously, I had my kiddos late in life, and I was thinking that they deserve a bigger piece of my time pie that I have. I feel like we only have a finite amount of time.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kotb, who has spent 26 years at NBC News, said she won’t be leaving until the first part of next year, but will always be part of the NBC family, the outlet noted.</span></p>

<p>Comedian Larry David was scheduled to appear on Thursday morning&#8217;s broadcast of the &#8220;TODAY&#8221; show on NBC — but he crashed the set a bit early, shocking hosts when he burst onto the scene and physically assaulted another guest, the &#8220;Sesame Street&#8221; Muppet, Elmo.</p>
<p>Elmo joined the show after an X post about emotional well-being garnered a lot of attention — and the hosts wanted to continue that conversation. David, however, apparently had only one thing on his mind.</p>

During her tour, she’s revealed that she and Will have secretly been completely separated for the last seven years, and they are growing tired of maintaining the lie. In an interview with Hoda Kotb, Jada explains that she never wanted to get divorced and always thought they would “work through whatever.” Then she says she just hasn’t “been able to break that promise.”</span></p>

They have been putting on an act, appearing on red carpets together, showing public displays of affection, and preaching to the rest of us how we should live our lives. The purpose of Jada’s show “Red Table Talk” was to bring people’s lives to the table. She wanted to talk about the real, the honest, and the straightforward. Yet there is nothing brave or straightforward in anything she’s demonstrated other than her ability to lie to the masses for years.</span></p>

She explained: “Will and I just have amazing chemistry on a lot of different levels, you know? We love to laugh together, we love to learn together, and we just love each other. We just have a good time together.” They joked that their 23 years together is practically 60 in Hollywood years.</span></p>

They were </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">married</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Marriage and vows have </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">meaning</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> — no matter how much Hollywood tries to tell the masses that they don’t. Despite their vows, Will and Jada opted for the progressive route, remained married, and slept with other people, which is exactly what Jada confessed in 2020. She had carried on an affair with August Alsina, a rapper in his early twenties who was </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">friends with her son</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Absolutely disgusting. It’s despicable. And there’s no way to measure the impact that’s had on the mentality of their children.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">August has quite a different appearance than Will; he is not as clean cut. But based on all Jada has shared about herself, from her lifestyle to her upbringing, this affair makes sense. Jada Pinkett Smith is for the streets. Everything she has ever told about herself indicates she wants someone a little “harder” than Will Smith, which also explains some of her obsession with Tupac — who she has continued to talk about for years following his death. She still holds a torch for him, and Will even said in his own book that he was jealous of the special bond she had with Tupac. She wants to be part of the thug life while at the same time attempting to convince everyone to just be open and honest. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In 2020, Jada invited Will on a “Red Table Talk” episode in which she essentially told the public that her affair was totally acceptable because Will hadn’t been doing the things he needed to do as a man. I can’t imagine any man agreeing to sit down and do this publicly, but for some reason, Will Smith did. In that episode, he says he will “stand by my baby no matter what,” followed by Jada’s explanation that she doesn’t “look at it as a transgression at all.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meanwhile, I look at it as Will Smith being officially spayed and neutered. We have watched the spaying and neutering of Will Smith for the last year, formerly a man who people looked up to as an actor but now a guy who does not have an ounce of manhood left in him. He continues to allow this vile creature to publicly humiliate, embarrass, and shame him. To be clear, I don’t excuse him from any of this. He has obviously agreed to have this relationship, or, lack thereof; they have both continued to maintain appearances in the public eye. But there is nothing left of Will Smith. Jada isn’t a </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">wife</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">, and he isn’t a </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">husband</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">. These words </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/splitting-finances-stop-normalizing-marriages-that-function-like-divorce" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="font-weight: 400;">have sacred meaning</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, which represent a union that happens under God. The idea that people in Hollywood are aspirational is absurd. <p>Longtime &#8220;Today&#8221; show host Al Roker said he&#8217;s &#8220;glad to be alive&#8221; as he celebrated another trip around the sun this weekend following multiple hospitalizations that kept him off the air for weeks.</p>
<p>The 69-year-old <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/08/21/al-roker-glad-to-be-alive-on-69th-birthday-following-health-scare/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NBC host</a> of the morning show said he&#8217;s &#8220;more than grateful&#8221; to be celebrating his birthday after he had to be hospitalized before Thanksgiving 2022 when a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/longtime-today-show-host-al-roker-in-the-hospital-explains-absence-from-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">blood clot</a> in his leg &#8220;sent some clots into&#8221; his lungs.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is my 69th anniversary of orbiting the sun and after everything that I went through at the end of last year I am more than grateful to be celebrating this birthday,&#8221; Roker said in a video on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CwKriQnpkj-/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a> on Sunday while taking a brisk walk.</p>

<p>Earlier this year, the weatherman finally returned to the set of the morning show on January 6 after being hospitalized multiple times for blood clots that took him off the air since mid-November.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/today-show-host-al-roker-give-fans-update-after-being-hospitalized-a-second-time" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roker</a> finally gave an update after his <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/al-roker-finally-returning-to-today-after-multiple-hospitalizations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">second hospitalization</a> in December, calling it a &#8220;tough slog. I&#8217;m not going to deny this. It&#8217;s been the hardest one yet, and you know I&#8217;ve had my share of surgeries.&#8221;</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/today-show-host-al-roker-shares-update-with-fans-after-being-hospitalized-for-major-blood-clots" target="_blank" rel="noopener">weather personality</a> also admitted that four weeks in the hospital was hard on his body and said he wasn&#8217;t ready to return to the set yet.</p>
<p>&#8220;You lose a certain amount of muscle mass for every week you&#8217;re in the hospital, and I was in the hospital for four weeks,&#8221; Roker explained. &#8220;It&#8217;s just a certain amount of weakness. I&#8217;m doing physical therapy every day, occupational therapy. I&#8217;ve got to just get my strength back.&#8221;</p>
<p>On Thanksgiving, Roker posted photos on Instagram celebrating that he was out of the hospital after a blood clot in his leg &#8220;sent some clots into&#8221; his lungs.</p>
<p>However, he was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/today-show-host-al-roker-rushed-back-to-hospital-after-being-released-in-time-for-thanksgiving" target="_blank" rel="noopener">rushed</a> back to the hospital via ambulance on November 25 after falling ill again. Days later, the &#8220;Today&#8221; show confirmed that Roker was back in the hospital &#8220;due to some complications,&#8221; as they sent well wishes to their co-host.</p>

<p>&#8220;Today&#8221; show contributor Jill Martin opened up about her battle with breast cancer and how her recovery is going after she underwent a double mastectomy weeks after being <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/jill-martin-returns-today-says-191231081.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">diagnosed</a> in mid-July.</p>
<p>The 47-year-old lifestyle contributor on the morning show said she&#8217;s doing &#8220;okay&#8221; physically after the surgery while noting that emotionally she&#8217;s been on a &#8220;roller coaster,&#8221; calling the last six weeks &#8220;earth-shattering.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I had an aggressive tumor removed, and my surgeon, Dr. Elisa Port, removed 18 lymph nodes, one of which was cancerous,&#8221; Martin wrote in a <a href="https://www.today.com/health/jill-martin-double-mastectomy-surgery-update-rcna98163" target="_blank" rel="noopener">personal essay</a>.</p>
<p>&#8220;They actually test the nodes in real time, so I found out the results of the biopsy when I woke up from the four-hour surgery,&#8221; she added. &#8220;There is always a small possibility that cancerous cells could have escaped, so the rest of the meeting was dedicated to planning out my long road ahead, and what the doctor suggests I do to prevent this insidious disease from coming back.&#8221;</p>

<p>The NBC morning show contributor also thanked those who have shared their support after she revealed her breast cancer diagnosis, which she said was not detected from those annual checkups but instead from genetic testing. She tested positive for the BRCA2 gene, the gene linked to a significantly higher possibility of developing ovarian or breast cancer, <a href="https://people.com/jill-martin-breast-cancer-double-mastectomy-health-update-7570463" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People magazine</a> noted.</p>
<p>&#8220;I received so many DMs, texts, emails, and calls,&#8221; Martin wrote. &#8220;Strangers came up to me on the street saying, &#8220;&#8216;Can I please add you to my prayer list?&#8217; or, &#8216;I am going to get tested because of your story.&#8217; I didn&#8217;t realize how important genetic testing was on both the mother and the father’s side of the family.&#8221;</p>
<p>She talked about how the hardest thing has been watching her family &#8220;Watch me go through this. It shakes a family and a household. The past three weeks have felt like a lifetime.&#8221;</p>
<p>Martin said this week she will meet with her doctor to learn what&#8217;s next in this process. She said she already knows she will have a full hysterectomy to &#8220;decrease the risk of ovarian cancer&#8221; due to &#8220;fibroid issues in the past&#8221; and said she&#8217;ll have to &#8220;take anti-hormonal drugs for 5 years.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I will most likely need chemotherapy because of the aggressiveness of the tumor,&#8221; Martin wrote. &#8220;That is the part that hit me the hardest — the idea of chemo.&#8221;</p>
<p>The host admitted that she&#8217;s &#8220;still in a state of shock&#8221; because everything has happened so fast, but she&#8217;s &#8220;choosing to fight.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Cancer has knocked me down. It has,&#8221; she added. &#8220;I used to jump out of bed every day to begin work, but now every day is a choice. Do I feel like staying under the covers and crying? Yes. Every day. But I did that when I first started recovery &#8230; and little by little, like today, I am choosing to get up. I am choosing to fight.&#8221;</p>

<p>Longtime &#8220;Today&#8221; show host Al Roker made his return to the morning show on Friday and provided new details about the &#8220;life-threatening&#8221; crisis that landed him in the hospital multiple times in the last few months.</p>
<p>During the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/al-roker-finally-returning-to-today-after-multiple-hospitalizations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">68-year-old</a> weather personality&#8217;s first appearance back on the NBC daytime show since mid-November, <a href="https://twitter.com/TODAYshow/status/1611345941985992704?s=20&amp;t=bT-lhHAXEB1ZWAu5HQZKEQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roker talked</a> about how doctors discovered he had lost &#8220;half&#8221; of his blood from two ulcers.</p>
<p>&#8220;I had this internal bleeding going on. I lost half my blood,&#8221; Roker explained. &#8220;And they were trying to figure out where it was. And finally, they went in, did the surgery. I had two bleeding ulcers.&#8221;</p>
<p>Roker said doctors ended up having to resection his colon, take out his gallbladder, and more.</p>
<p>He joked he &#8220;went in for one operation [and] got four free.&#8221;</p>
<p>Roker&#8217;s wife Deborah Roberts was on the set too, calling her husband&#8217;s health crisis a &#8220;frightening journey.&#8221;</p>

‘Incredibly Grateful’: Al Roker Says He’s Finally Home Again After Being Hospitalized A Second Time

<p>Longtime &#8220;Today&#8221; show host Al Roker gave fans an update Thursday about how he&#8217;s doing after he had to be hospitalized a second time after initially being released in time to spend Thanksgiving with his family.</p>
<p>In a post shared on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cl6C2QIu_eY/">Instagram</a>, the 68-year-old weather personality wrote that he would &#8220;hopefully&#8221; be home soon after being taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was treated initially for a series of blood clots that started in his legs and moved to his lungs, <a href="https://pagesix.com/2022/12/08/al-roker-says-hes-coming-home-soon-amid-hospitalization/">Page Six</a> reported.</p>
<p>&#8220;Hopefully coming home soon but when your spirit sags a bit, you get to see that and recharge,&#8221; Roker wrote. &#8220;God Bless you all for all the prayers and well wishes for me and my family.&#8221;</p>

<p>Longtime &#8220;Today&#8221; show host Al Roker was rushed back to the hospital via ambulance just a day after being released.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/today-show-host-al-roker-shares-update-with-fans-after-being-hospitalized-for-major-blood-clots">68-year-old</a> popular weather personality fell ill a day after he posted photos on Instagram celebrating that he was finally out of the hospital after being treated for a series of blood clots that started in his legs and moved to his lungs, <a href="https://pagesix.com/2022/11/30/al-roker-rushed-back-to-hospital-amid-blood-clot-scare/?utm_source=NYPTwitter&amp;utm_campaign=SocialFlow&amp;utm_medium=SocialFlow">Page Six</a> reported.</p>
<p>One witness told the outlet that Roker was &#8220;taken from his home in a stretcher back to the hospital on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital he improved.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;His wife, Deborah, was understandably very upset,&#8221; the person added. &#8220;She had left her phone and other possessions inside their Tesla, which had malfunctioned and wouldn&#8217;t unlock, so she was trying to smash in a window.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Deborah then went to the hospital by taxi with her daughter, where Al has since been surrounded by his family,&#8221; the witness continued.</p>
