Britney Spears allegedly caused a scene Friday night at a restaurant in Los Angeles that resulted in her husband storming out of the establishment.
TMZ obtained video reportedly of Spears in the restaurant with her security guard, although it appears to have been taken shortly after the incident occurred.
Eyewitnesses <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/01/14/britney-spears-sam-asghari-manic-restaurant-storms-out/">told</a> the publication that Spears and husband Sam Asghari were immediately recognized when they arrived at JOEY restaurant in Woodland Hills.
The publication said that the incident appears to have occurred after patrons started pulling out their phones and taking pictures of Spears, which caused her to get annoyed.
Eyewitnesses told TMZ that the singer became &#8220;manic&#8221; and began yelling gibberish, while Asghari became angry and left the restaurant.
The video posted by TMZ showed Spears holding up a menu to block her face from the person who was recording her.
Quickly after her husband left the restaurant, Spears also left, the report said. Her security guard returned later to pay the bill.
Jamie Spears, Britney Spears&#8217; father, spoke out several weeks ago about the his daughter’s conservatorship, which he managed, after it came to an end over a year ago.
The conservatorship, which ended in November 2021, was in place for 13 years, The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/judge-ends-britney-spears-conservatorship" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny granted the pop star’s petition to have the agreement terminated.
Penny’s order followed a hearing that September in which she suspended Jamie Spears from having control over Britney’s roughly $60 million estate. In Jamie Spears’ place, Penny appointed a certified public accountant.
Jamie Spears, 70, gave the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11549597/Jamie-insists-Britney-Spears-controversial-13-year-conservatorship-saved-ruin.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> to the Daily Mail, which said it was Spears’ first interview in more than a decade.
“Not everybody’s going to agree with me,” he said. “It’s been one hell of a time. But I love my daughter with all my heart and soul. Where would Britney be right now without that conservatorship? And I don’t know if she’d be alive. I don’t.”
Jamie Spears said that the conservatorship was needed to protect her children, and said that there were positive family moments along the way.
“We could take the kids to Europe. They didn’t miss time with their mother. They didn’t miss time with their father. Not many people knew that. The main purpose was to get Britney back with her kids in a comfortable relationship,” he said. “We did everything in the world with them.”
Jamie Spears said that most people “don’t have a clue what the truth is” regarding what personal things went on behind the scenes in reference to the conservatorship.
“The media has not heard the truth. They’ve heard the allegations from Britney,” he said. “I don’t mind taking that beating because I know it’s not true, and because I don’t want to start something else. For my daughter to end up going further down the hole than she had been.”

New details emerged late this week about what transpired in the hospital that allegedly led to the death of Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, after paramedics responded to an emergency call at her home in California.
TMZ first <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/01/12/lisa-marie-presley-rushed-to-hospital-cardiac-arrest/?adid=share-tw">reported</a> that paramedics performed CPR on Presley, 54, at her Calabasas home after she went into “full arrest” before transporting her to a medical facility.
Presley was then placed “on life support with a temporary pacemaker” and was “in an induced coma and in critical condition.”
A subsequent report from the publication said that the doctors pronounced her &#8220;brain dead&#8221; after she was admitted to the hospital.
Presley&#8217;s family members signed a do-not-resuscitate order, sources <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/01/13/lisa-marie-presley-death-second-cardiac-arrest-do-not-resuscitate-order-dnr/">told</a> TMZ, and Presley died after she suffered a second cardiac arrest.
Priscilla Presley <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lisa-marie-presley-daughter-of-elvis-presley-dead-at-54">announced</a> her daughter&#8217;s passing in a statement on Thursday night.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla Presley said in a statement. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
Presley was just at the 80th Golden Globe Awards with her mother on Tuesday, where they watched Austin Butler win his first Golden Globe award for best actor in a dramatic motion picture for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the eponymous biopic.

As a teenager, Presley dropped out of high school and later entered rehab after she had started to use drugs. While in rehab, she met musician Danny Keough, whom she later married in 1988 and with whom she had two children, Riley and Benjamin. The two divorced in 1994 after six years of marriage.
Less than a month later, she married singer Michael Jackson, a marriage that would last less than two years.
Presley became engaged to musician John Oszajca several years later in 2000 before she ended that relationship so she could date actor Nicolas Cage.
Cage and Presley married in 2002, but the marriage ended less than four months later.
TMZ added that Presley owned and operated Elvis Presley Enterprises until 2005 when she sold the business.

Law enforcement officials have reportedly indicated that no drugs were found at the scene where rapper Coolio was found dead Wednesday afternoon.
TMZ <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2022/09/28/coolio-dead-dies-los-angeles/?adid=share-tw">reported</a> that the rapper, whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr., died while visiting a friend. He reportedly went to use the bathroom at his friend’s house and did not come back for a while, prompting the friend to go looking for him. The friend found him lying on the floor, at which point he called for help.
The rapper was pronounced dead at the scene.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that they opened a death investigation but no foul play was suspected and no drugs or drug paraphernalia were found at the scene.
Authorities said that an autopsy and toxicology test would be needed to determine a cause of death, although initial indications pointed to possible cardiac arrest.
“We are saddened by the loss of our dear friend and client, Coolio, who passed away this afternoon,” Coolio’s talent manager, Sheila Finegan, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-famed-rapper-coolio-dead-at-59" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in a statement to The Los Angeles Times. “He touched the world with the gift of his talent and will be missed profoundly.
“Thank you to everyone worldwide who has listened to his music and to everyone who has been reaching out regarding his passing,” she added. “Please have Coolio’s loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.”
Coolio&#8217;s death shocked fans as he had recently played in the 2022 Riot Festival and planned to host other shows in the coming weeks and months.
Coolio went from growing up in tough conditions in Compton, California, to becoming a Grammy award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist, selling more than 17 million records worldwide.
Perhaps his most famous song was “Gangsta’s Paradise,” which helped launch him toward the top of the rap music scene.
Coolio’s <a href="https://coolioworld.com/me/">website</a> noted that the song won a Grammy Award in 1996 for Best Rap Performance, Solo, and that it was featured on the “Dangerous Minds” soundtrack and movie.
The song “was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Song of the Year and it sold over six million copies and was Billboard Magazine’s number one single in 1995,” his site said. “The world recognition led to his music being featured Coolio for several major motion pictures including: Space Jam, Clueless, The Big Payback, Panther, New Jersey Drive, The Jerk Boys, Eddie, Half Baked and many more. He also composed the theme song for the popular kids TV series KENAN on Nickelodeon.”

Law Enforcement Provides Update On Death Of Rapper Coolio

Tony Dow, 77, the “Leave It To Beaver” star, died on Wednesday, the day after his management team made a premature death announcement. 
Dow’s management team made a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/TonyDowActorDirector">statement</a> on the actor&#8217;s Facebook page confirming he died by his family&#8217;s side Wednesday morning. According to the page, his death was confirmed by his son. 
“We know that the world is collectively saddened by the loss of this incredible man,” the statement reads, “He gave so much to us all and was loved by so many.”
Dow&#8217;s wife, Lauren Shulkind, had initially believed her husband had died and later informed his management team, who mistakenly announced Dow&#8217;s death on his Facebook page on Tuesday. Within hours the team removed the post after Dow&#8217;s son told them his father was still alive at home receiving hospice care.
Dow&#8217;s Facebook page includes a statement from his son.
&#8220;Although this is a very sad day — I have comfort and peace that he is in a better place,&#8221; he said.
&#8220;He was the best Dad anyone could ask for. He was my coach, my mentor, my voice of reason, my best friend, my best man in my wedding, and my hero. My wife said something powerful and shows the kind of man he was. She said: &#8220;Tony was such a kind man. He had such a huge heart and I&#8217;ve never heard Tony say a bad or negative thing about anyone.&#8221;
The accidental announcement came just over two months after his wife, Lauren Shulkind, announced the return of his cancer on May 5.
TMZ <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2022/07/27/tony-dow-dead-dies-family-false-report-pass/">reported</a> Dow had been diagnosed with liver cancer in May. A spokesperson for the family told the news outlet Dow&#8217;s cancer battle was &#8220;a rollercoaster of ups and downs,&#8221; noting he was in and out of the hospital with various complications and treatments.
The Washington Post <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/obituaries/2022/07/27/tony-dow-leave-to-beaver-wally-dead/">reports</a> Dow&#8217;s manager, Frank Bilotta, said the cause was complications from liver cancer.
Dow, born in Hollywood in 1945, became one of American television&#8217;s biggest household names when he starred as Wally Cleaver on &#8220;Leave It To Beaver.&#8221; The actor appeared in all 234 episodes of the classic show, which ran from 1957 to 1963. He would later reprise his role 20 years later in &#8220;Still the Beaver&#8221; and on &#8220;The New Leave It To Beaver,&#8221; which aired from 1983 to 1989.
The actor also found success working on &#8220;Never Too Late,&#8221; &#8220;My Three Sons,&#8221; and &#8220;Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.&#8221;
In addition to his acting career, Dow served as a director for television and film projects, including the well-known &#8220;Coach&#8221; sitcom and the movie &#8220;Harry and the Hendersons.&#8221;
Beyond the actor&#8217;s well-known work in the film industry, Dow served in the Nation Guard from 1965 to 1968.
Dow&#8217;s management team offered condolences to Dow&#8217;s family and has requested privacy at this time in their time of mourning.

“<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/reality-tv">Here Comes Honey Boo Boo</a>” alum and former child beauty pageant contestant <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">Alana Thompson</a>, 16, is heading to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/new-york-city">New York City</a> for a weight loss procedure, her manager told <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2022/07/20/honey-boo-boo-alana-thompson-weight-loss-surgery/">TMZ</a>.
Thompson is getting the procedure done just after her 17th birthday this August. Dr. Steven Batash will perform suture sculpt endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty, which is a non-surgical outpatient procedure that reduces the functional volume of the stomach by up to 70-80%, according to the doctor’s <a href="https://batashmedical.com/endoscopic-sleeve-gastroplasty/">website</a>. 
The site also says that patients will need “a solid commitment to a healthy lifestyle, including exercise and dietary intake” for “long-term success.”
Thompson currently weighs 275 pounds and would like to lose a significant amount of weight to reach her goal of 150 pounds, according to TMZ. She said she fears being overweight is genetic and the only way to lose it is through a weight loss procedure. Thompson’s 20-year-old boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, will be go through the procedure too, TMZ reported.
The “Honey Boo Boo” star has struggled with her weight for her whole life. In the past, she spoke with fans about trying to lose weight naturally, but has so far been unsuccessful.
Thompson’s guardian and half-sister, Pumpkin (Lauryn Efird), gave permission for the teen to get the procedure. She was awarded custody of her younger sibling after their mother was arrested in 2019 for drug possession.
Pumpkin also lost weight recently, and she opted not to have surgery. 
Their mother, “Mama June” Shannon, also underwent weight loss surgery and lost more than 300 pounds. Her journey was the subject of the reality series “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” which premiered in 2017 and ran for 5 seasons. Besides bariatric surgery, she also got a tummy tuck, breast augmentation, liposuction, a neck lift, arm lifts, and porcelain veneers.
Mama June spoke with <a href="https://toofab.com/2021/03/20/mama-june-weight-loss-jessica-plastic-surgery/">TooFab</a> about why she gained weight following the surgery and how she was happy about it. 
“With my weight loss, I have as I like to tell people, gained that healthy Covid weight. I&#8217;ve put on probably about 60-70 pounds,” the reality star said. “Am I happy the way I am? Yeah. A former employee of TMZ triggered gasps and giggles in the courtroom on Wednesday, when he hit back at Amber Heard attorney Elaine Bredehoft for accusing him of seeking his &#8220;15 minutes of fame&#8221; by testifying.
Heard’s ex-husband Johnny Depp is suing her for $50 million over an op-ed she penned about domestic violence at The Washington Post. The &#8220;Aquaman&#8221; actress has countersued for $100 million.
&#8220;I&#8217;d say the same thing about taking Amber Heard as a client, for you,&#8221; Morgan Tremaine shot back at Bredehoft.
Tremaine was working for TMZ when he received an anonymous tip online that included video of Depp slamming cabinets. Despite efforts from TMZ to keep Tremaine off the stand, the former employee was still called to testify in the case.
His testimony implied that Heard or someone on her team were the ones who sent over the video, saying that TMZ was able to receive the tip, receive copyright ownership, and publish the video within about 15 minutes.
Tremaine testified this can only be done when you&#8217;re working with someone who has copyright ownership of the content in question. Otherwise, the process takes much longer.
&#8220;You know this case is being televised, right?&#8221; Bredehoft asked the journalist.
&#8220;I&#8217;m aware that there are cameras,&#8221; he responded.
&#8220;So, this gets you your 15 minutes of fame?&#8221; the attorney accused Tremaine.
&#8220;I stand to gain nothing from this,&#8221; he replied. &#8220;I&#8217;m actually putting myself kind of in the target of TMZ, a very litigious organization. And I&#8217;m not seeking any 15 minutes here, though you&#8217;re welcome to speculate.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;d say the same thing about taking Amber Heard as a client, for you,&#8221; Tremaine added, causing the courtroom to erupt with reaction.
Notably, Depp attorney Camille Vasquez was unable to conceal her laughter.

Earlier in the trial, Vasquez <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/you-slipped-up-there-didnt-you-ms-heard-depp-team-shows-video-of-heard-talking-tmz-leak">grilled</a> Heard over past deposition video of the actress talking about a video leak to TMZ.
Vasquez told a flustered Heard that the deposition included a confession from the actress about leaking the video, or possibly selling the footage to the TMZ.
“You slipped up there, didn’t you, Ms. Heard?” Vasquez grilled Heard on the stand, after playing footage of Heard talking about the leak.
“You let it slip out that TMZ had been alerted to your filing of the domestic violence restraining order, didn’t you?” the attorney continued.
“I disagree,” Heard responded. “That’s not what I’m talking about. &#8230; I never got paid for it because I had nothing to do with that.&#8221;

TMZ has filed an emergency motion to bar actor Johnny Depp from calling one of the outlet&#8217;s former employees as a witness in his ongoing defamation trial against actress and ex-wife Amber Heard.
According to a <a href="https://variety.com/2022/film/news/johnny-depp-tmz-employee-testify-1235276764/">report</a> published Tuesday afternoon by Variety, Depp&#8217;s legal team indicated a plan to call Morgan Tremaine, who was previously employed as a TMZ field assignment manager, to testify as early as Wednesday.
&#8220;In the motion, TMZ said it was seeking to protect a confidential source who had provided the outlet with a <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2016/08/12/johnny-depp-amber-heard-throws-wine-glass-domestic-violence-video/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">video of Depp</a> yelling at ex-wife Amber Heard and slamming cabinets. The video was played for the jury early on in the trial,&#8221; Variety reported.
On cross examination, Depp&#8217;s attorneys questioned Heard about the video, asking whether or not she had been the one to leak it to the press. &#8220;I did not do that,&#8221; Heard responded. &#8220;I had nothing to do with that.&#8221;
Sources &#8220;connected&#8221; with Depp had also <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2016/08/12/johnny-depp-amber-heard-throws-wine-glass-domestic-violence-video/">reportedly told TMZ</a> when the video first leaked — in mid-August of 2016 — that the video had been &#8220;heavily edited&#8221; and noted that there were parts of the video where Heard appeared to be &#8220;smiling and egging him on.&#8221; Those same sources reportedly suggested Heard had intentionally set up the video in order to make Depp look as though he was out of control.
TMZ&#8217;s lawyers asserted that under Virginia law, the court had to protect the identity of the source — additionally, they claimed that Tremaine had no connection with the video in question and anything he could possibly say on the stand would amount to &#8220;hearsay and conjecture.&#8221;
&#8220;TMZ promised this source that it would maintain their confidentiality and would not disclose their name or other information about them,&#8221; TMZ&#8217;s attorneys concluded. &#8220;TMZ makes such promises of confidentiality, from time to time, so that it may publish information in the public interest, and it relies on the journalist’s privilege protecting the identity of confidential sources to do so.&#8221;
In addition to suggesting Heard might have leaked the video, Depp&#8217;s attorney&#8217;s questioned the &#8220;Aquaman&#8221; star as to whether she had been the one to tip off photographers when she went to court in 2016 to obtain a restraining order. Heard denied that as well, and argued that Depp&#8217;s attorney, Laura Wasser, could have been the one to leak the news.
It was reported on Wednesday that Tremaine could testify according to Judge Penney Azcarate.

Johnny Depp attorney Camille Vasquez grilled Amber Heard on Tuesday over past deposition video of the actress talking about a video leak of Depp to TMZ. The video clip shows Heard confessing to leaking the video, or possibly selling the footage to the outlet, Vasquez told a flustered Heard.
Depp is suing his ex-wife for $50 million over an op-ed she wrote at The Washington Post about domestic violence, which the actor claims significantly hurt his Hollywood career. Heard has countersued for $100 million.

Heard denied leaking the footage, telling Vasquez she wouldn&#8217;t even &#8220;know how&#8221; to do something like that.
&#8220;Did they pay you for that?&#8221; Vasquez continued.

The actress argued that she has more explosive evidence against Depp, so the leak doesn&#8217;t make sense to have come from her.

TMZ did indeed exclusively obtain video of a seemingly inebriated Depp slamming cabinets, and also &#8220;published photos of Heard&#8217;s bruised face, along with the exclusive story about her restraining order filing,&#8221; Radar Online <a href="https://radaronline.com/p/amber-heard-leaked-tmz-johnny-depp-video-restraining-order-trial/">reported</a>.
In the deposition video clip shown to the court on Tuesday, Heard explained that she was desperately trying to get in touch with Depp so she could personally tell him about the divorce filing and temporary restraining order before he found out through the press, specifically TMZ.

The 33-year-old singer is known for pushing her message of body positivity at any size. Now the “Truth Hurts” singer is interested in showing off her voluptuous figure in one of the most popular men’s entertainment magazines in the world. 
Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, indicated as much while attending Drake’s West Hollywood Super Bowl weekend concert. Apparently TMZ asked the singer if she was willing to pose for Playboy. The singer’s “Rumors” collaborator Cardi B was just named the first ever creative director in residence for the magazine.
“Oh my god, tell Cardi to call me!” Lizzo told TMZ on hearing the news. “I LOVE Playboy,” she said, before indicating she was interested in being featured in a spread. “Yeah, I’ll do it!”
The star also talked about a new piercing she has in a very intimate place earlier in the day. Lizzo uploaded footage to TikTok of a piercing party she threw for her team. 
&#8220;I have so many piercings right now, I never thought I’d be this girl,” she excitedly told the person behind the camera when they asked how many piercings she received at the party.
“You can’t see my coochie, I can’t show you,” she said, implying that she had gotten a piercing there. 
“I can’t show you! I can’t show TMZ my p****!” Lizzo went on.
This all fits in with the “Good as Hell” singer’s embracing of the body positivity movement. Last week, Lizzo shared a nude photo of herself with her 11.9 million followers and added a caption that explained her feelings about self-love.
“If you love me… you love all of me,” she wrote alongside a video clip of herself posing without clothes. “You dont get to pick and choose. We should be unconditionally loving of one another, starting with being unconditionally loving to ourselves. Take a moment today and think about the conditions we cling to. Free yourself in love. You deserve it.”
The rapper shares videos of herself wearing revealing clothing and twerking all the time, so her willingness to pose for Playboy shouldn’t come as a surprise for her followers. 
In the past, Lizzo has spoken out against anyone who disparaged her health. The performer said she works out all the time and that her weight is no one else’s business. 
“Hey, so I’ve been working out consistently for the last five years and it may come as a surprise to some of ya’ll that I’m not working out to have your ideal body type,” Lizzo said, as <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/lizzo-blasts-body-shamers-health">reported</a> by Fox News. “I’m working out to have my ideal body type and you know what type it is? None of your f***ing business because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job, and I stay on my job.”
