The Department of Homeland Security thanked NBC&#8217;s &#8220;Saturday Night Live&#8221; for its sketch poking fun at Secretary Kristi Noem and her effort to recruit federal agents to join the Trump administration&#8217;s mass deportation effort.
The sketch opened with Amy Poehler as Attorney General Pam Bondi testifying at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.
“My name is Pam Bondi. I spell it with an ‘i’ because I ain’t gonna answer any of your questions,” Poehler said. “My time is valuable. The DOJ has many ongoing operations, and we’re moving like Kash Patel’s eyeballs — very quickly in multiple directions at once.”
Poehler was later joined by Tina Fey, who played a dolled-up Noem donning an DHS cap and holding a rifle.
“That’s right. It’s me, Kristi Noem,” Fey said. “I spell my name with an ‘i’ because that’s how I thought it was spelled. And I’m the rarest type of person in Washington, D.C. &#8212; a brunette that Donald Trump listens to,&#8221; said Fey.
Fey also touched on Noem&#8217;s stance on the government shutdown.

&#8220;Our government agents are working without pay. Luckily, my boys at ICE don&#8217;t mind, they&#8217;re in it for the love of the game. And how did I find them? By running ads like this,&#8221; said Fey in one clip shared by DHS.
DHS took the clip to then introduce an ad set to rap music showing ICE agents arresting illegal immigrants.
&#8220;SNL is absolutely right&#8211;the Democrats&#8217; shutdown does need to end!&#8221; DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told The Daily Wire.

As Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal famously said, “Love means never having to say you&#8217;re sorry.”
Someone should tell that to modern day comedians.
Too many apologize for their past jokes, often years after uttering them. For some, it’s Damage Control 101. The “wrong” joke, no matter how long ago it was spoken, could be a cancel-worthy affair.
Take <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-52815624" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jimmy Fallon groveling for forgiveness</a> during a 2020 Tonight Show episode over a 20-year-old blackface sketch. The apology came during the height of the BLM movement.
In other cases, it’s pure virtue signaling, since no one actually remembered the bad joke in question.
The latter may explain Sarah Silverman’s recent mea culpa. The far-Left comic previously got pinched by Cancel Culture when a 2007-era blackface gag <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/sarah-silverman-says-she-lost-film-role-wearing-blackface-2007-n1041621" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cost her a movie role</a>.
She took a rare shot at Cancel Culture while sharing that story.
“You have to ask yourself, would I want this person to be changed or do I secretly want them to stay what I deem as wrong so I can point to them as f***ed up and myself as right?”
More recently, Silverman <a href="https://x.com/RollingStone/status/1924113153228423434">apologized for using the n-word</a> in previous comedy routines.
“I felt like the temperature of the world around me at the time was, ‘We are all liberal so we can say the n-word. We aren’t racist, so we can say this derogatory stuff’ … I was playing a character that was arrogant and ignorant, so I thought it was OK. Looking back, my intentions were always good, but they were f***ing ignorant.”
She’s far from alone.
Tina Fey once blasted the woke mob for policing humor. The “30 Rock” alum said she makes it a policy <a href="https://reason.com/2015/12/20/tina-fey-is-done-apologizing-for-offensi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">not to explain her jokes</a>.
Post-George Floyd, a very different <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-53148316" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fey yanked four “30 Rock” episodes</a> from syndication for featuring various blackface jokes. Said episodes cannot be found on streaming or DVD platforms, according to the BBC.
Fey apologized for the “pain they have caused.” What pain? The subject came up during the BLM protests. How many people cared before…or after? Context is everything, particularly in comedy, and the episodes weren’t designed to attack or belittle black people.
Standup comedian John Mulaney isn’t known for his political musings. Yet he still circled back to apologize for a riff about the 2020 presidential election. He dared suggest it didn’t matter if an elderly Joe Biden or a slightly less elderly Donald Trump won.
“Outrage” ensued, and he <a href="https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2020/12/john-mulaney-snl-backlash-kimmel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">backpedaled on Jimmy Kimmel Live!</a>
&#8220;I should have said I very much want one to win over the other, and there will be improvements if one wins. I deserved backlash. I flat-out just forgot to do it&#8230; I never was like, ‘Hey, don’t you mean that one guy is worse than the other?’ And I forgot to make the joke good.&#8221;
Taylor Swift is arguably the most famous celebrity in the world, meaning she’s heard her fair share of insults, jokes and more. It’s not pretty, but it comes with the territory.
Comedienne Nikki Glaser still felt the need to <a href="https://www.today.com/popculture/miss-americana-nikki-glaser-apologizes-taylor-swift-t172987" target="_blank" rel="noopener">apologize to Tay Tay</a> after an old crack she made about the pop superstar resurfaced in the Swift documentary “Miss Americana.”
“She’s too skinny; it bothers me&#8230;all of her model friends, and it’s just like, c&#8217;mon!'&#8221;
Glaser called it “projection” due to her own eating disorder issues. Has she apologized to others <a href="https://www.thewrap.com/nikki-glaser-does-a-brutal-hilarious-high-speed-roast-of-biden-trump-and-other-politicians-video/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">she’s hammered with her humor since then</a>? It’s even more ironic because her biggest career boost came when she killed it at Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady” last year.
The Apology Tour isn’t reserved for stand-up comedians. The key forces behind 2007’s “Superbad” — co-star and co-writer Seth Rogen, and star Jonah Hill — have apologized for the movie’s raunchy humor.
Rogen apologized for <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/seth-rogen-regrets-homophobic-superbad-jokes/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">capturing how real teenagers talk</a> in the hit comedy.
&#8220;There are probably some jokes in &#8216;Superbad&#8217; that are bordering on blatantly homophobic at times. They&#8217;re all in the voice of high school kids, who do speak like that, but I think we&#8217;d also be silly not to acknowledge that we also were, to some degree, glamorizing that type of language in a lot of ways.&#8221;
Hill piled on, blasting his own early comedies as portraits of “<a href="https://variety.com/2019/film/festivals/berlin-film-festival-jonah-hill-wants-to-challenge-traditional-masculinity-1203134534/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">toxic masculinity.”</a>
“I love those films, but I also think that if you look back at those films, a lot of what they’re showing is major bro comedy, and bro masculinity.”
He said he wanted his newer films to educate viewers about the “problematic behavior” highlighted in these box office hits.
Not every comic performer feels this way. Monty Python alum John Cleese isn’t eager to apologize for his past gags, and he occasionally does so <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/news/john-cleese-issues-sarcastic-apology-155723976.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">with tongue firmly in cheek</a> to make his point.
Podcasting giant Adam Carolla is even more firm in his “no apology” mantra.
The “Mr. Birchum” star defended his position in 2015 during a <a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/adam-carolla-done-apologizing_n_6811940" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HuffPo conversation</a>.
&#8220;Go find a politician or somebody who&#8217;s in charge and poke a popsicle stick up their butt…I&#8217;m a comedian. I&#8217;m done apologizing, I really am&#8230;And by the way, everyone who apologizes is faking it. They&#8217;re only doing it because they&#8217;re gonna get canned.&#8221;
He later started his book, “Everything Reminds Me of Something: Advice, Answers … but No Apologies“ with this promise.
“I’m not going to apologize. S****y times call for s****y language.”
And, bless his heart, 98-year-old Mel Brooks has yet to apologize for “The Producers” and its pro-Hitler ditty, “Springtime for Hitler.”

Comedians Apologize…For Jokes?

During an interview published Tuesday, actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">Donald Glover</a> recalled an instance in his early career in which Tina Fey said he was a &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/diversity">diversity</a>&#8221; hire for the popular sitcom &#8220;30 Rock.&#8221;
The 39-year-old actor discussed it during an interview with <a href="https://www.gq.com/story/donald-glover-global-creativity-awards-cover-2023">GQ</a>. &#8220;There is no animosity between us or anything like that, but [Tina Fey] said it herself. &#8230; It was a diversity thing. The last two people who were fighting for the job were me and Kenya Barris,” Glover recalled of being hired as a writer for “30 Rock.”
Barris is the creator of the hit comedy “Black-ish” and other spinoff projects. 
&#8220;I didn’t know it was between me and [Barris] until later. He hit me one day and he was like, ‘I hated you for years!’” Glover continued.
Glover said he suffered from imposter syndrome during that period of his early career, indicating that he didn’t feel qualified to have secured the position. &#8220;It definitely didn’t feel like I was supposed to be there. I used to have stress dreams every night where I was doing cartwheels on the top of a New York skyscraper with the other writers watching me.”
The actor mentioned believing he was hired because he was black before, during a 2018 <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2018/03/05/donald-glover-cant-save-you">profile</a> in The New Yorker. 
“I wondered, Am I being hired just because I’m black?” he said, then allegedly Fey told him funds from NBC’s Diversity Initiative essentially “made him free,” so the answer was technically yes. 
The comedy series “30 Rock” has faced backlash in the past. In 2020, Fey made a comment on removing episodes that included characters in blackface.

“As we strive to do the work and do better in regards to race in America, we believe that these episodes featuring actors in race-changing makeup are best taken out of circulation,” Fey wrote in a letter to the platforms that streamed or sold “30 Rock,” as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/30-rock-blackface-episodes-yanked-tina-fey-apologizes">reported</a>. 
“I understand now that ‘intent’ is not a free pass for white people to use these images. I apologize for pain they have caused. Going forward, no comedy-loving kid needs to stumble on these tropes and be stung by their ugliness. I thank NBCUniversal for honoring this request.”

The writer who penned the original novel upon which “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/movies">Mean Girls</a>” is based is considering legal action against <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tina-fey">Tina Fey</a> and Paramount over “unpaid dues.”
Rosalind Wiseman wrote the book “Queen Bees and Wannabes” in 2002 for parents to help them understand their teenage girls. The book became the basis of the cult classic comedy “Mean Girls” (2004) starring Lindsay Lohan. The film version was written by Fey.
Wiseman sold the film rights in 2002 for $400,000 and, in doing so, relinquished all rights to original motion pictures and derivative works, including musicals and TV shows. The movie was adapted into a Broadway musical.
The author’s contract promised she would receive net profit based on box office performance, but now Wiseman claims the studio hasn&#8217;t paid her any, claiming they have no profits due to extra costs. “Mean Girls” was a surprise hit at the box office, bringing in $130 million worldwide following its release on a $17 million production budget.
Wiseman discussed her feelings about the situation during an interview with <a href="https://nypost.com/2023/03/18/mean-girls-author-tina-fey-paid-me-nothing-for-hit-franchise/">The New York Post</a> published over the weekend. 
She mentioned how “Mean Girls” has “changed our culture and changed the zeitgeist” due to its massive popularity. 
“Yes, I had a terrible contract, terrible, but the movie has made so much money, and they keep recycling my work over and over again, so to not even consider me,&#8221; the author said, mentioning how the &#8220;hypocrisy is too much.&#8221; 
&#8220;Over the years Tina&#8217;s spoken so eloquently about women supporting other women, but it&#8217;s gotten increasingly clear to me that, in my own personal experience, that&#8217;s not going to be the experience,&#8221; she continued.

Wiseman also claimed that a theater director had approached her about turning the book into a musical, but Fey and Paramount killed the deal because they owned the rights to the intellectual property.
&#8220;What&#8217;s hard is that they used my name in the Playbill,&#8221; Wiseman told the Post. &#8220;And Tina, in her interviews, said I was the inspiration and the source, but there was no payment.&#8221;
&#8220;I suspect most people would be shocked at how shabbily Rosalind Wiseman has been treated,&#8221; Wiseman’s lawyer Ryan Keech told the Post. 
&#8220;It is nothing short of shameful for a company with the resources of Paramount to go to the lengths to which it has gone to deny Ms. Wiseman what she is fairly entitled to for having created what has become one of the most iconic entertainment franchises of the last 25 years.&#8221;
“We have reached out to Paramount to have things be more <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/equity">equitable</a>, but Paramount is not interested in that,” he noted.
As for why she’s choosing to come forward with her story now and take it public, the author said her pursuit of “equity” is a driving force.
&#8220;For a lot of reasons I didn&#8217;t come forward for a while, and one of the reasons [is] because I was so focused on me not whining or trying to trash Tina,&#8221; she said. However, she added, &#8220;I believe strongly when you&#8217;re in a position of power and privilege that you have a responsibility to share that to create equity.&#8221;

Woke celebrities do as they’re told by their cancel culture masters … or else.
The most farcical example? “Saved by the Bell” alum Mario Lopez apologized for suggesting it’s dangerous for <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/31/entertainment/mario-lopez-apology-trnd" target="_blank" rel="noopener">3-year-olds to determine their gender</a>.
In other cases, stars virtue signal to increase their employment potential and keep past “problematic” work from suddenly resurfacing.
A few celebrities have seen the folly of the woke revolution. It’s often because they’ve been personally impacted by the new cultural rules, and they can’t help but publicly backpedal.
At least a little.
The most recent example? Pakistani-American comic actor Kumail Nanjiani of “Eternals” fame complained about <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/eternals-actor-said-hollywood-wont-cast-non-white-people-as-bad-guys-despite-his-desire-to-play-a-villain" target="_blank" rel="noopener">not being able to snag a ripe role</a> as a film or TV show villain. The bad guys are often the most interesting roles to play.
Why? Hollywood isn’t interested in making people of color <a href="https://www.esquire.com/uk/culture/tv/a42430017/kumail-nanjiani-interview-chippendales/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the bad guy or gal</a> these days. He sounds envious of fellow MCU star Sebastian Stan, whose versatile career includes playing the quasi-heroic Winter Soldier as well as the villain in horror movies like “Fresh.”
<blockquote>He does these big Marvel movies, and then he’ll play a psychopath. I was told that’s going to be hard because people don’t want to cast non-white people as bad guys.</blockquote>
Nanjiani sees the problem, but he can’t connect the critical dots. Identity politics run wild means actors can no longer act as they did before. Female directors must helm female superhero films. Straight actors shouldn’t play gay characters. And casting a person of color as the villain could be seen as stigmatizing, if not racist.
He’s not the only progressive star who has seen the dark side of the current woke wave.
Jim Gaffigan suffered a bout of Trump Derangement Syndrome in recent years, pushing his formerly apolitical act to the Left. He’s even worse on Twitter, sadly, sounding like a bad MSNBC parody.
He’s also shifted his career to more acting gigs, and he’s acquitted himself well in films like “Chappaquiddick” and “Being Frank.” The latter 2018 film, alas, got him caught up in the woke community’s web.
The movie follows a father (Gaffigan) who secretly serves as the patriarch for not one but two families. Some of the film’s reviews weren’t kind, but not for the usual reasons.

<blockquote>A lot of the reviews … there was a tone of like, ‘how dare this white male [laughs] have two families. They couldn’t get beyond … they would insert, like, a social commentary onto a platform that was not for that. … Some reviews were like, ‘they under-served them!’ You know, the movie was really about my character and his son. … Because of the day we live in, it had to be deciphered through this kind of social critique that is just absurd. And it wasn’t here and there. It was a lot of reviews like that.</blockquote>
Far-Left comic Sarah Silverman once sang the praises of the woke revolution. Let the young social justice <a href="https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2015/09/sarah-silverman-comedians-college-kids-tiff-2015" target="_blank" rel="noopener">warriors teach us how to live our lives</a>, she said.
That was in 2015.
She later said that she lost a coveted movie role because someone objected to a 2007 episode of “The Sarah Silverman Program” in which she donned blackface. The story actually spoke out strongly against racism, but Silverman’s choice of makeup, and the way she attacked the issue, effectively canceled her for the film in question.
After that confession, the liberal comic’s <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/film/2019/aug/12/sarah-silverman-fired-from-film-blackface-photo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">attitude toward woke shifted</a>. Witness this 2020 rant from her podcast:
<blockquote>If we don&#8217;t give these people a path to redemption, then they&#8217;re going to go where they are accepted, which is the mother****ing dark side.</blockquote>
Silverman hasn’t modulated her progressive politics, but she sees the woke revolution in a far less flattering light than before.
Comic actor Aziz Ansari’s stage shtick often mocked white culture, aligning neatly with the woke mindset suggesting it’s acceptable to target that demographic. His career briefly flatlined after a 2018 blog-style expose written by a 23-year-old woman who accused the &#8220;Parks and Recreation&#8221; star of behaving aggressively during a sexual situation.
It was a “she said, he said” case, except the #MeToo Movement demanded her accusations be taken at face value without him offering a vigorous defense. 
His career briefly crumbled as a result. Ansari slowly crept back into the limelight, treading carefully when the subject of the date in question came up. He uses his stand-up routine to mock white people, still, but it’s often to taunt them for their performative wokeness.
Not all stars follow this pattern. Tina Fey, one of the funnier comic minds of the 21st century, once told jokes with abandon. Her “30 Rock” NBC showcase mocked the Left and the Right, and it came of age right before woke took over.
So when she got hammered by the far Left over jokes on her Netflix comedy “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” Fey didn’t back down.
She said she makes it a policy <a href="https://www.phillymag.com/things-to-do/2015/12/21/tina-fey-jokes/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">not to explain jokes</a>. That was 2016. She later realized she might get in trouble for sticking to that core belief, and she had a <a href="https://variety.com/2021/tv/features/tina-fey-mean-girls-movie-snl-1234967386/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dramatic change of heart</a>.
“Everyone’s figuring out what the new rules of comedy are. They definitely have changed for the better.”

&#8220;Is that electric?&#8221; John Jackson <a href="https://twitter.com/pvtjokerus/status/1577323279983194113" target="_blank" rel="noopener">asked</a>, referencing the Biden administration&#8217;s repeated pushes to get more Americans into <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/i-love-the-corvette-biden-revs-praises-gas-powered-sports-car-while-touting-electric-vehicles/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">electric vehicles</a>.
&#8220;We can&#8217;t afford groceries, gas &amp; goods and you post a picture of yourself in an expensive, gas powered vehicle claiming you are doing a good job. You are completely out of touch with Americans. Former Hillary Clinton aide Peter Daou also took a swing at Biden, <a href="https://twitter.com/peterdaou/status/1577278056980688902" target="_blank" rel="noopener">adding</a>, &#8220;Kids are still in cages. Hundreds of thousands are homeless. Millions lack health care. Tens of millions live paycheck to paycheck. Entire cities don&#8217;t have clean water. The climate emergency threatens our existence. But hey &#8230;&#8221;

According to a new book previewed by the <a href="https://nypost.com/2021/11/22/alec-baldwin-once-threatened-to-assault-30-rock-director-says-book/">New York Post</a>, Alec Baldwin was prone to outbursts on the set of long-running NBC sitcom, “30 Rock.” In one passage of the new tell-all about the series, titled, “The 30 Rock Book: Inside the Iconic Show, from Blerg to EGOT,” editor Doug Abel claims the ‘Rust’ actor threatened to assault first-season director Adam Bernstein.
“According to [editor Doug] Abel, Alec turned to [Bernstein] and said that if he did that one more time, he was going to assault him. And he didn’t say it with a smile on his face,” the Post quotes the book, which releases Nov. 30, continuing, “For reasons unknown, this angered Alec Baldwin.”
The story goes on to say that the editor believes “animosity between the two was one reason why Bernstein — who went on to direct episodes of ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Fargo,’ among others — left the show in 2007 after only 6 episodes.”
Another director on the show, Paul Feig, best known today for directing episodes of “The Office” and the movie “Bridesmaids,” called working with Baldwin, “challenging.”
“[He] turned out to be the least fun to work with,” Feig said. But he put the blame, in part, on the fact that Baldwin was considered a major film star at the time and viewed as a big draw for the show.
“In Alec’s case, he was like, I just want to get in and get out,” Feig is quoted as saying, “[especially if] you wanted to do something elaborate … more than a few takes.”
The director reportedly added, &#8220;Alec is so brilliant that in two takes, you get something great. It’s just that as a director, then you go, ‘Ooh, try this,’ because I could maybe even make it ten percent greater, and he’s just like, ‘No, we got it.’&#8221;
The critically-acclaimed, Emmy-winning series, somewhat inspired by creator Tina Fey’s own experiences, was set on a fictional weekly sketch comedy show. Baldwin played Jack Donaghy, an NBC executive who mentored Fey’s character and frequently parodied Republican views.
Baldwin has become known for angry outbursts over the years thanks to incidents like a leaked 2007 voicemail in which he screamed at a then-11-year-old Ireland Baldwin, his daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger, calling her a “rude, thoughtless little pig.”
As The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rust-script-supervisor-sues-baldwin-i-feel-like-at-any-moment-anything-could-happen-to-me-and-to-those-that-i-care-about">reported</a>, the 63-year-old is now facing a lawsuit stemming from his accidental shooting of 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the western film, &#8216;Rust,&#8217; last month. Mamie Mitchell, script supervisor on the set, was the crew member who called 911 and said in her filing, “I could not believe this was happening. I gave my statement to law enforcement and drove home. Ten minutes after I got home someone notified me that she was dead. I stood in my driveway screaming.”
Mitchell added:

New Book Claims Alec Baldwin Threatened To Assault Co-Worker On Set Of ’30 Rock’

In a classic episode of &#8220;30 Rock,&#8221; Tracy Jordan (played by black comedian Tracy Morgan), decides to dress as a white woman to prove to Jenna Maroney (played by white actress Jane Krakowski) that being a woman is easier than being black.
Maroney, in turn, dresses up as a black man. Hilarity ensues.
But the PC police got to NBC Universal, which has decided to pull the episode &#8212; along with three others in which there is blackface, or other things now deemed offensive.
&#8220;30 Rock&#8221; pushed the boundaries of race because the show, which ran from 2006 to 2013, had a diverse cast, unlike a show like &#8220;Seinfeld&#8221; and &#8220;Friends.&#8221; Along with Morgan and his wife Angie, there was DotCom and Grizz, &#8220;Toofer,&#8221; Donald Glover, and others &#8212; all black and all major characters. For instance, in one show, Jack Donaghy (played by Alec Baldwin), laments that NBC&#8217;s writers are all &#8220;so white,&#8221; and Liz Lemon (played by Tina Fey), replies: &#8220;Popo popped Dookie down by the vacants.&#8221;
No outcry then. But now is now.
Four episodes &#8220;are being removed from subscription streaming services Hulu and Amazon Prime and have also been made unavailable for sale on purchase platforms such as iTunes and Google Play,&#8221; Vulture reported. &#8220;The episodes, which will no longer air on traditional TV either, were pulled at the request of NBCUniversal executive producers Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. A source tells Vulture the four episodes, some of which have already vanished, should be gone by the end of this week.&#8221;

The two Jenna blackface episodes being removed, which were gone at least a week ago, per Reddit observers, are from the third and fifth seasons of 30 Rock. The season-three episode, “Believe in the Stars,” aired first on November 6, 2008, and includes a plot in which Jenna (Krakowski) and Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) decide to swap identities in order to determine whether black men or white women face more challenges in society. This “experiment” includes Jenna darkening her skin. NBC Universal is also removing the West Coast version of a live show in which guest star Jon Hamm appears in a wig and blackface, part of a phony racist TV show &#8220;Amos &#8216;n&#8217; Andy.&#8221; The ironic thing about this episode as that Hamm and Morgan were mocking racism, with Hamm&#8217;s character saying unbelievably racist things throughout the short scene as Jordan grew ever more angry.
Wait, there&#8217;s more. &#8220;Vulture is trying to find out the precise reason the East Coast version has been removed. That version did include a fake Fox News chyron that read &#8216;Exclusive Interview With Kenyan Liar,&#8217; a reference to the baseless birther conspiracy pushed by far-right politicians, including Donald Trump. The West Coast version of the live episode subs in a chyron reading &#8216;Impartial Interview With Barack Obammunist.'&#8221;
With the PC police swirling, lead actress Fey offered an apology.
&#8220;As we strive to do the work and do better in regards to race in America, we believe that these episodes featuring actors in race-changing makeup are best taken out of circulation,” Fey wrote in a letter to the platforms that streamed or sold 30 Rock. “I understand now that ‘intent’ is not a free pass for white people to use these images. I apologize for pain they have caused. Going forward, no comedy-loving kid needs to stumble on these tropes and be stung by their ugliness. I thank NBCUniversal for honoring this request.”

‘30 Rock’ Blackface Episodes Yanked; Tina Fey Apologizes.

Tina Fey&#8217;s &#8220;sheetcaking&#8221; Saturday Night Live skit, in which she addressed the violence in Charlottesville and the wave of white supremacists rallies, has earned both praise and outrage from the Left. The best thing Americans could do to protest the alt-right white nationalists, suggested Fey in a &#8220;Weekend Update&#8221; skit on Thursday night, was to stay home.
Fey, a former &#8220;Weekend Update&#8221; host, made a guest appearance on the segment Thursday to the delight of the audience. A University of Virginia graduate, Fey was introduced by co-host Colin Jost as coming on to give a personal message regarding the tragedy from the previous weekend and the upcoming white nationalist rallies.
Throughout the skit, Fey took shots at &#8220;Donny John&#8221; Trump, Republicans, and &#8220;Yard Sale Barbie&#8221; Ann Coulter, but spent most of it explaining her advice on how to best respond to the planned Klan rallies. Variety et al of course loved the &#8220;<a href="http://variety.com/2017/tv/news/tina-fey-weekend-update-charlottesville-sheetcaking-1202532456/">takedown of President Trump</a>,&#8221; but it was her recommended response to white supremacists that the permanently outraged feminist site Jezebel blasted as &#8220;obnoxious&#8221; and &#8220;<a href="http://jezebel.com/tina-feys-vexing-self-parody-1797975376">vexing</a>.&#8221; A few excerpts of the skit below (full transcript below video).
&#8220;[I]t broke my heart to see these evil forces descend upon Charlottesville,&#8221; said Fey. &#8220;And then our president, Donald John Trump &#8211; which, I don&#8217;t think people talk enough about what a stupid, jackass name that is. It does *not* flow &#8211; Donald John? Whatever, he gets away with it &#8217;cause he&#8217;s gorgeous. Anyway, Donnie John comes out, and he says that he condemns violence on many sides. On many sides, Colin. And I&#8217;m feeling sick. &#8216;Cause, you know. I&#8217;ve seen Raiders of the Lost Ark,&#8217; and, uh, I wasn&#8217;t confused by it. No, Colin, Nazis are always bad&#8230;&#8221;
Fey then addressed the scheduled rallies and noted that one is planned for New York City. &#8220;Like, I hope they try it and get the ham salad kicked out of them by a bunch of drag queens? &#8216;Cause, &#8217;cause you know what a drag queen still is? A six-foor-four black man,&#8221; she said, in a line that would have been met with outrage from the Left had it come from a conservative.
Then she finally presented her advice on how to best respond to the racist rallies:

FEY: But, at the same time, I don&#8217;t want any more good people to get hurt. And I know a lot of us are feeling anxious, and we&#8217;re asking ourselves, like, &#8216;What can I do? I&#8217;m just one person&#8211;what can I do?&#8217; And so, I would urge people this Saturday, instead of participating in the screaming matches and potential violence, find a local business you support. Maybe, a Jewish-run bakery, or, an-African-American run&#8230;bakery. Order a cake with the American flag on it&#8211;like this one&#8211;and, um&#8230;just eat it, Colin.
JOST: Wait &#8211; I&#8217;m sorry; how is that supposed to help?
FEY (mouth overfull with cake): Love is love, Colin.
COLIN: I&#8217;m sorry, what?
FEY: And then, next time, when you see a bunch of white boys, boys in polo shirts screaming about taking our country back, and you want to scream, &#8220;It&#8217;s not our country&#8211;we stole it. We stole it from the Native Americans. And when they have a peaceful protest at Standing Rock, we shoot at them with rubber bullets. But we let you chinless turds march through the streets with semi-automatic weapons.&#8221; When you want to yell that, don&#8217;t yell it at the Klan, Colin. Yell it into the cake. (Screams into cake) Then, when Ann Coulter crawls out of her roach motel, and says, &#8220;Uh, antifa attacked Republicans in Berkeley,&#8221; and you&#8217;re like, &#8220;OK, Yard Sale Barbie, but the other side is Nazis and Klansmen. And also, who drove the car into the crowd? Hillary&#8217;s e-mails?&#8221;
COLIN: Well, you know, they&#8217;ve already canceled some of these new rallies.
FEY: You see? It&#8217;s working already. Sheetcaking is a grassroots movement, Colin. Most of the women I know have been doing it once a week since the election. And don&#8217;t worry, guys &#8211; by the way &#8211; don&#8217;t worry. Some of the people in Charlottesville weren&#8217;t Klansmen &#8211; they were independent militias! Yeah! Did you know there&#8217;s over 250 well-armed militias across the US that are ready to mobilize at any time? Yeah! Guess what, Che &#8211; they&#8217;re not cops. No! While the skit might be interpreted as actually mocking the idea of sitting out the protests, some sort of ironic twist on &#8220;let them eat cake,&#8221; Fey&#8217;s final comment seemed to confirm that she was serious about people staying home.
&#8220;In conclusion. I really want &#8230; to encourage all good, sane Americans to treat these rallies this weekend like the opening of a thoughtful movie with two female leads: Don&#8217;t show up. Let these morons scream into the empty air,&#8221; she said.
She ended by taking a dig at Thomas Jefferson. &#8220;I love you Charlottesville, and, as Thomas Jefferson once said, &#8216;Who&#8217;s that hot light-skinned girl over by the butter churn?&#8217;&#8221; she said.

Are you white? Do you have a uterus? Did you vote for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election?
If you answered yes to these questions, you have apparently committed an inexcusable act against Feminism, according to Hollywood liberal Tina Fey.
On Saturday, while discussing &#8220;access to reproductive care,&#8221; which is Feminist Code for &#8220;access to killing babies in the womb,&#8221; Fey lamented white, college-educated women casting their ballots for Trump in November. 
&#8220;The thing that I kinda keep focusing on is the idea that we sort of need to hold the edges, that it&#8217;s sort of like a lot of this election was turned by white, college-educated women who now would like to forget about this election and go back to watching HGTV,&#8221; <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/02/entertainment/tina-fey-aclu-donald-trump-policies/index.html">said </a>the 30 Rock star at the event hosted by the ACLU. &#8220;You can&#8217;t look away because it doesn&#8217;t affect you this minute, but it&#8217;s going to affect you eventually.
&#8220;I personally will make my own pledge as a college-educated white woman to not look away, to not pretend that things that are happening now won&#8217;t eventually affect me if we don&#8217;t put a stop to it,&#8221; added the feminist martyr. 
Apparently, one cannot be female and favor Trump over former secretary of state Hillary Clinton. I mean, SHE HAS A UTERUS, TOO! 
Fey is not the only feminist to blast women for committing Feminist Wrongthink. In the months following the election, countless spiraling feminists blamed women for the election of Trump amidst their breakdowns; apparently female Trump voters are all suffering from Stockholm syndrome and secretly hate themselves.
Here&#8217;s the woman who bragged about sexually abusing her little sister, DNC speaker Lena Dunham: 
&#8220;I think it&#8217;s really important to remember that it is an incredible problem that 53% of women in this country &#8212; 53% of white women in this country voted for Donald Trump which means that they&#8217;re not only voting against the interests of their sisters, of women who may not look like them, who they may not understand but whose rights are just as important, but also remember that they are in that case voting against their own best interest,&#8221; Dunham <a href="http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/kristine-marsh/2017/02/10/dunham-feminists-have-work-do-enlightening-white-women-who-voted">told </a>the hags at The View. &#8220;To me a part of feminism &#8212; it&#8217;s almost like being a parent to a teenager where they&#8217;re so mad at you, they think you&#8217;re such a piece of crap and you&#8217;re like, I know you hate me right now but the reason I&#8217;m doing this is because I love you and I want us all to be safe.&#8221;
Yes, Ms. Dunham, please enlighten us lowly Trump voters.
And it wasn&#8217;t just dreadful naked celebs like Dunham; Hillary staffers shamed female Trump voters, too. Former communications outreach director for Hillary, Jess McIntosh, said white women voted for Trump because they are suffering from &#8220;<a href="http://www.theblaze.com/news/2016/11/15/clinton-campaign-staffer-blames-internalized-misogyny-for-candidate-losing-white-womens-vote/">internalized misogyny</a>&#8220;:

Hayes asked McIntosh why Clinton failed to get more white women supporting her.
&#8220;Internalized misogyny is a real thing, and this is a thing we have to be talking about,&#8221; McIntosh replied.

Of course, this accusation is absurd. Women can actually have different policy opinions without being &#8220;internalized misogynists,&#8221; <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/news/10859/left-says-i-hate-myself-voting-trump-while-female-amanda-prestigiacomo">you condescending idiots. </a>
