Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz&#8217;s wife discussed sexual orientation in the classroom as a high school teacher, and spoke to at least one student about his sexuality before he had told his parents he identified as gay, the student said during a campaign event aimed at LGBTQ voters.
Jacob Reitan, a former student of Gwen Walz when she taught at Mankato West High School in Minnesota, has said on numerous occasions that Gwen Walz told his entire class &#8220;on the very first day&#8221; of sophomore year that her class was a safe place for any student that identified as gay or lesbian.
Fifteen-year-old Reitan, like many other students, had never heard a teacher discuss gender in the classroom before. Reiten, who had not yet come out publicly as gay, shared that he had been bullied and accused of being gay since the seventh grade, but did not know anyone who identified as gay, nor seen LGBTQ people portrayed on television.
&#8220;I was stunned,&#8221; Reitan, who is now a 42-year-old lawyer in Minneapolis, said during a Thursday &#8220;Out for Harris and Walz&#8221; virtual Zoom call attended by Hollywood celebrities and Tim Walz himself.
Reitan said on the call that Gwen Walz was the first person he came out as gay to, and was immediately told stories about how supportive the Walz family was to other gay students.
&#8220;After coming out to Mrs. Walz, she shared stories with me about how her and Mr. Walz had been supportive of other gay students that they had when they were teachers in Nebraska,&#8221; Reitan said on the call with LGBTQ activists, referring to the Walz&#8217;s time teaching at Alliance High School in Nebraska.
The call came as Tim Walz and his wife take point on the Harris campaign&#8217;s outreach to LGBTQ voters. On the same night as the call, Gwen Walz <a href="https://www.hrc.org/press-releases/human-rights-campaign-out-for-harris-walz-and-pa-democrats-barnstorm-battleground-states-with-10-days-of-action">spoke at an event</a> in Philadelphia hosted by the far-left Human Rights Campaign, which supports transgender procedures for children. The activist group says it has made contact with 75 million &#8220;LGBTQ+ voters and allies&#8221; as part of its work for Democrats this cycle.
American voters have grown increasingly interested in what goes on in classrooms since the coronavirus pandemic, when many parents were shocked and horrified to discover how teachers, both public school and private school, were speaking to their children about gender, sexuality, religion, and race. Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin&#8217;s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-republican-glenn-youngkin-wins-governors-race-in-virginia-experts-project">victory in Virginia</a> is widely attributed to his embrace of the parental rights cause, particularly in contrast with Democrat Terry McAuliffe&#8217;s infamous claim: “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.&#8221;

Reitan has discussed his experience with Gwen Walz on many occasions before, telling the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/20/us/tim-walz-gay-students.html">New York Times</a> her remarks on being gay on the first day of class came &#8220;out of the blue.&#8221; The paper reported that her comments &#8220;gave him the confidence to confide in his parents&#8221; about being gay.
“I’d never heard a teacher ever talk about gay issues from the front of the classroom,&#8221; Reitan previously <a href="https://apnews.com/article/tim-walz-teacher-coach-lgbtq-minnesota-mankato-4e03b28f956e7862dc72d25b852af448">told the Associated Press</a>, adding that the comments &#8220;meant the world to me,&#8221; and &#8220;made me feel welcome in the place where I’m supposed to learn.&#8221;
Gwen Walz&#8217;s opinions on discussing LGBTQ topics with students appear to have been decided in the 1990s: &#8220;Long before there was a national debate over what — if anything — teachers should be allowed to say about sexual orientation and gender identity in the classroom, Ms. Walz had concluded that a reassuring word from an adult could make a huge impact,&#8221; <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/20/us/tim-walz-gay-students.html">the Times reported</a>.
The Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/20/us/tim-walz-gay-students.html">reports</a> that the couple &#8220;had grown close to a gay student years earlier in Nebraska&#8221; whom they took to an Indigo Girls concert — &#8220;the rare queer-friendly event in that time,&#8221; according to the Times, and &#8220;one of the decade’s strongest bastions of queer community and camaraderie,&#8221; <a href="https://www.them.us/story/tim-walz-gwen-gay-student-indigo-girls-concert">according to &#8220;Them,&#8221; an LGBTQ outlet</a>.
It&#8217;s not clear who that student was, though a spokeswoman for Gwen Walz confirmed to the Times that the couple took a student to the concert.
Reached by email for comment, Alliance Public Schools Superintendent Troy Unzicker distanced the high school from the idea that it would allow teachers to initiate conversations about gender without parental consent.
&#8220;There are no public records to confirm or deny this allegation,&#8221; he told The Daily Wire. &#8220;The current school board and administration did not work with Mr. Walz.  I personally do not know Mr. Walz so I can be of no help.&#8221;
After Walz was arrested for drunk driving in 1995, the couple moved to Minnesota to teach at Mankato High School. Walz, who was reportedly deeply disappointed in himself over the incident, <a href="https://apnews.com/article/tim-walz-drunken-driving-arrest-kamala-harris-b2ffe73963e0dbf9c804697e2831753e">says he no longer drinks</a> and prefers diet Mountain Dew.
When Reitan wanted to start a Gay-Straight Alliance at Mankato High School, he went to Gwen Walz&#8217;s husband for support. Tim Walz, who taught social studies and coached football at the high school, offered to be the group&#8217;s faculty adviser. &#8220;It really needed to be the football coach, who was the soldier and was straight and was married,&#8221; Walz <a href="https://www.startribune.com/tim-walz-s-campaign-for-minnesota-governor-aims-to-bridge-the-great-divide/495297961">said in October 2018</a>.
Tim and Gwen Walz are also widely described by former students as educational trailblazers in the LGBTQ space at a time when the topic was largely controversial, especially in schools.
During the Walzes&#8217; time at Mankato West High School, when some LGBTQ-promoting students made a massive banner promoting &#8220;Gay Awareness Day,&#8221; around 150 Mankato West High School students threatened to leave the school, <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/08/09/walz-gay-alliance-high-school/">according to the Washington Post.</a>
“Kids were tearing down signs that said stuff about gay tolerance,&#8221; one high schooler named Amanda Hinkle wrote at the time, the Washington Post reported. The publication noted that some parents kept their kids home from school on another day (the Washington Post did not clarify which day) that the school reportedly devoted to &#8220;discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.&#8221;
Mankato West High School didn&#8217;t immediately respond to requests for comment explaining what this day was. The Walzes did not immediately respond to requests for comment for this story.
Tim Walz has drawn scrutiny during the campaign for his promotion of far-left transgender activism in Minnesota. He <a href="https://mn.gov/governor/newsroom/press-releases/?id=1055-568986">signed an executive action</a> a year ago, to &#8220;protect access to gender affirming health care in Minnesota.&#8221; Gender-affirming-care is an activist euphemism for transgender surgeries, hormones, and puberty blockers, all of which can be accessed by minors with or without parental permission, depending on the state.
“In Minnesota, you will not be punished for seeking or providing medical care,&#8221; Walz said when he signed the order, referring to transgender procedures. &#8220;This Executive Order delivers the urgent action that our LGBTQ Minnesotans deserve.”
Despite evidence showing that growing numbers of young people deeply regret transgender surgeries and procedures — and evidence that &#8220;gender-affirming care&#8221; does not make trans-identifying youth less suicidal — Walz&#8217;s lieutenant governor incorrectly stated that &#8220;gender affirming health care is safe, scientifically proven, and lifesaving.&#8221;
&#8220;When our friends and neighbors tell us that this care will help them feel safer, happier, and more themselves, it is our job to listen and to believe them,” said Minnesota&#8217;s Lieutenant Governor Flanagan. “Our number one job is to keep children safe. This Executive Order does just that.&#8221;
As The Daily Wire&#8217;s Mairead Elordi reported, Walz also <a href="https://mn.gov/governor/newsroom/press-releases/?id=1055-575115#:~:text=Governor%20Tim%20Walz%20today%20signed,affirming%20health%20care%20in%20Minnesota." target="_blank" rel="noopener">signed</a> a cluster of legislation in April 2023 that established Minnesota as a haven for children who want puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or transgender surgeries. One of these laws allows Minnesota to seize custody of a child whose parents refuse to provide these procedures, and says that Minnesota will refuse to come to the aid of a child whose parents are pushing through transition treatments.
Walz also signed legislation requiring boys’ bathrooms in public schools to stock up on free tampons or pads, beginning in January 2024, earning him the nickname &#8220;Tampon Tim&#8221; from Donald Trump.

It&#8217;s been a little over two months since the Kamala Harris campaign <a href="https://www.axios.com/local/washington-dc/2024/08/07/harris-walz-camo-hat-merchandise" target="_blank" rel="noopener">unveiled</a> their ace-in-the-hole — their foolproof plan to win over male voters and dominate the upcoming presidential election. This plan didn&#8217;t take the form of a campaign platform, or a stump speech, or anything like that. Instead, it took the form of an ingenious little totem — one you could even purchase for a mere $40 plus shipping — that was located in the online merch store of the Kamala Harris campaign. I&#8217;m talking, of course, about the official Harris-Walz embroidered <a href="https://www.axios.com/local/washington-dc/2024/08/07/harris-walz-camo-hat-merchandise" target="_blank" rel="noopener">camo hat</a>.
Axios <a href="https://www.axios.com/local/washington-dc/2024/08/07/harris-walz-camo-hat-merchandise" target="_blank" rel="noopener">called</a> the hat a &#8220;status symbol&#8221; for Democrats. This hat, Politico <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2024/08/08/tim-walz-fashion-camo-cap-00173126" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> us, is &#8220;more important than you think.&#8221; They wrote that it could even decide the outcome of the election as a kind of &#8220;tipping point.&#8221; According to CNN, that hat signified that the Harris campaign was serious about burnishing their &#8220;credentials&#8221; among young voters, <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/06/politics/video/camo-hat-harris-walz-merch-digvid" target="_blank" rel="noopener">particularly</a> white men. There was so much optimism. Tim Walz is a &#8220;hunter,&#8221; CNN assured us. That&#8217;s why he needs the &#8220;blaze orange&#8221; hat. And thanks to this hat, men are going to recognize how authentic and masculine Tim Walz is. Men will sit around at the pub saying to each other, “Gee whiz, that Tim Walz is a real man’s man. Did you see his orange hat?” The Trump campaign won&#8217;t even stand a chance. After all, their hats are red. And men don&#8217;t respond to that. They only respond to &#8220;blaze orange.&#8221;
That was the consensus in the corporate press. But two months later, it&#8217;s starting to look like the unthinkable has happened. The Harris-Walz camo hat has not, in fact, exerted a kind of mind-control over hundreds of thousands of men across the country. It has not guaranteed a Kamala Harris landslide, as expected. Instead, Kamala Harris&#8217; campaign is in freefall among men, of every demographic group.

A New York Times poll just found that nationally, Trump has a significant <a href="https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4927569-dems-worry-harris-men-voters/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lead</a> among likely male voters. He&#8217;s up by more than 10 points. Meanwhile, a USA Today poll found that in Arizona, a majority of Latino men between the ages of 18 to 34 support Donald Trump. Among Latino men aged 45 to 49, Trump&#8217;s support is even higher, at 57%. For their part, black men are also increasingly turned off by Kamala Harris&#8217; campaign. The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/12/us/politics/poll-black-voters-harris-trump.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reports</a> that Kamala Harris, quote, &#8220;still significantly trails Joe Biden’s 2020 share&#8221; of likely black voters. And the numbers show that she&#8217;s especially far behind among black men.
And you know what that means. It means that Barack Obama is, once again, very disappointed. Now, it&#8217;s no secret that a lot of things disappoint Barack Obama. He was disappointed when George Zimmerman exercised his right of self-defense to save his life. He was disappointed when Americans elected Donald Trump. He was disappointed when he had to cancel his 60th birthday party on Martha&#8217;s Vineyard because the plebes noticed that he was disregarding the COVID rules he pretended to care about. Pretty much everything that happens somehow ends up disappointing poor Barack Obama. But this time, his brow is really furrowed. He&#8217;s more disappointed than you will ever know. And specifically, he&#8217;s disappointed in black men for not supporting Kamala Harris enough. Watch:

This is how you know the internal polls are just as bad as the public polls. The party of joy is now the party of scolding and finger-wagging. He&#8217;s not even hiding his contempt. According to Barack Obama, black men can&#8217;t possibly be upset with inflation, or crime, or anything like that. They have to hate women. That&#8217;s the only possible explanation for why Kamala Harris hasn&#8217;t already locked up 100% of the black vote.
What&#8217;s extraordinary about this is that Donald Trump isn&#8217;t even polling particularly well among black voters. He&#8217;s just polling a lot better than any other Republican has in recent history. Trump has something like 20% support among black men, which is much higher than Democrats are used to. But Democrats recognize that this relatively small shift could very well cost them the election. It could flip states like Pennsylvania, which is where Obama was when he delivered that little dressing-down. So, Obama is furious. He needs black support for Kamala Harris to exceed 90%. But men, of all demographic groups, aren&#8217;t going along with the program.
That&#8217;s why, in recent days, we&#8217;ve seen Kamala&#8217;s campaign and her supporters go to increasingly desperate lengths to appeal to men. That cringy ad that went viral last week is just the latest example. It was created by a former director for Jimmy Kimmel named Jacob Reed. In case you were fortunate enough to miss this at the time, here&#8217;s a brief except:

It probably won&#8217;t surprise you to learn that all of the men in this ad are actors, and they&#8217;re mostly <a href="https://x.com/joma_gc/status/1844793372692848872" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lying</a> about their lives. One of them says he braids his daughter&#8217;s hair, but he doesn&#8217;t even have a daughter, apparently. He also claims he deadlifts 500lbs. We can only assume he meant 500 ounces. 
But something that might surprise you is that, in the days since this video has been mocked extensively all over the Internet, the creator of the ad, Jacob Reed, has not gone into hiding. He hasn&#8217;t changed his name and fled the country in shame, never to be heard from again — although that reaction would be reasonable and prudent at this point. Instead, he just appeared on national television to double down on the concept and explain why everyone else misunderstands his marketing genius. Watch:

So he&#8217;s explaining the joke, which is always a great sign. Comedy is about &#8220;juxtaposition,&#8221; says Jacob Reed. Get it? He&#8217;s juxtaposing the idea of a stereotypically rugged man, with things that aren&#8217;t stereotypically masculine. It&#8217;s funny because those two things are being juxtaposed. That&#8217;s comedy, as explained by the former director of Jimmy Kimmel — a comedian who hasn’t told a joke in 20 years.
In addition to not being funny, this guy&#8217;s also not very smart because, without realizing it, he proved the point I made when I discussed this ad last week. On the Left, to be a “real man” means simply playing second fiddle to women. Any man who submits and assumes a subservient role is automatically a role model for all men, in their view. Go fetch the tampons and braid some hair, and then you&#8217;re a real man. That&#8217;s the idea. This is a debased, matriarchal view of men that fails to resonate with any man aside from the most effeminate and testosterone-depleted. It is a vision of masculinity that appeals almost entirely to liberal feminist women, and no one else.
But increasingly, it&#8217;s becoming apparent that no one in the Kamala Harris campaign has ever spoken to a man who is normal and well-adjusted. That&#8217;s the only explanation for why the campaign voluntarily uploaded this footage of Tim Walz going pheasant hunting the other day. They must&#8217;ve thought this would be a slam dunk. After all, Walz was bringing his own gun. So, presumably, his handlers assumed that he would know how to load it for the cameras. But that assumption turned out to be very incorrect. Watch:

It looks like it&#8217;s his first time ever handling a firearm of any kind. It definitely doesn&#8217;t look like a guy who&#8217;s familiar, in any way, with the firearm he supposedly owns. As Larry Taunton put it, it looks like Tim Walz stepped out of an LL Bean catalog, eager to impress everyone with his hunting prowess. And everyone sees through it in about ten seconds.
A lot of people are comparing this to Michael Dukakis&#8217; decision to ride around in an Abrams tank, decked out in a helmet. The stunt was supposed to make Dukakis look strong on national defense, but it ended up making him look like a clown. But really, that&#8217;s not a fair comparison. Dukakis, for all his faults, never claimed to be a tank commander. He never said he was an expert on tanks, or someone who drove tanks all the time.
By contrast, as you heard from CNN at the top of this segment, Tim Walz has portrayed himself as a &#8220;hunter.&#8221; That&#8217;s why they sell the Harris-Walz camo hats. And now we&#8217;re learning that, like every other biographical detail we&#8217;ve been told about Tim Walz, it&#8217;s a lie. In reality, he didn&#8217;t serve in Afghanistan, even though he repeatedly suggested otherwise. He&#8217;s not actually afraid of spicy food, as he told Kamala Harris. He wasn&#8217;t in Hong Kong during the massacre at Tiananmen Square. And now we learn that he has no idea how to load a firearm.

Think about how desperate the campaign would have to be, in order to send Walz out there with that shotgun. It&#8217;s not just the fact that they decided to stage a corny photo-op. It&#8217;s the fact that they apparently didn&#8217;t do any kind of preparation beforehand — even basic stuff like making sure he wouldn&#8217;t make a fool out of himself. And then no one stopped this video from being released. In fact, the campaign began promoting it. It reminds you of all of those staged photos of politicians standing over a grill on July 4th, wearing a spotless apron with the creases still in it and holding a shiny spatula that an intern just bought from Lowe’s 15 minutes ago.
Compare this disaster to Donald Trump&#8217;s <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Rb9b8rYhII" target="_blank" rel="noopener">viral video</a> with the golfer Bryson DeChambeau a few months ago. That racked up more than 10 million views because it was authentic. Everyone watching the video could tell that Trump loves golfing. He didn&#8217;t struggle to hold his clubs. It obviously wasn&#8217;t his first time on the golf course. It was evident he loved the sport and everything about it. And he was surprisingly good, too. In fact, he started hitting a few drives that were better than Bryson&#8217;s.
The Harris-Walz ticket can&#8217;t match this authenticity because nothing about the candidates is genuine. Put a Glock in Kamala&#8217;s hands, and she&#8217;ll do exactly what Tim Walz did. When candidates are this fake, lame and desperate, their surrogates don&#8217;t have much to go on. So they end up sounding inauthentic and desperate, too.
Here for example are Julia Roberts and Jennifer Garner, giving what could be the single most inauthentic acting performance in their respective careers, which is saying something. Watch:

So Julia Roberts wants women to go home and nag their husbands and boyfriends into supporting Kamala Harris. If they do that, then prices will come down and we&#8217;ll have joy again. Nevermind the fact that Kamala Harris is the sitting vice president and that, by Kamala Harris&#8217; own admission, she bears responsibility for the Biden administration&#8217;s policies. Don&#8217;t think about that. Just berate as many men as you can find until they relent.
And then there&#8217;s Jennifer Garner saying that men who support Kamala are “sexy.” Perhaps that will convince men to rush out to the polls. If they aren’t convinced by the camo hat, or by a lecture from Barack Obama, maybe they’ll do it to impress Jennifer Garner. But I highly doubt it.
If you&#8217;re a Left-wing male and you&#8217;re passionate about Kamala Harris, at this point you need to be someone like Harry Sisson, the DNC shill who posts a lot on TikTok. Like him, you can&#8217;t have any shame or self-respect whatsoever. Here was his pitch to men ahead of the election:

&#8220;When I was growing up…&#8221; says a guy who looks like he’s 12. And here we have the Democrats going back to the same well. A well that is completely dry because there was never any water in it to begin with. This is all they have on the Left. They don’t know how to appeal to men, so after the gimmicks fail, they resort to insufferable, pretentious, irritating lectures delivers by the most annoying and inauthentic people on Earth. It’s true that men will sometimes respond to a little bit of harshness and tough talk. But only when that tough talk is delivered by someone who is serious and strong — a leader of men. Not a mousy little dork who would cry and call his mom if he got a flat tire.
But this is the strategy the Kamala Harris campaign is now using in order to win over male voters. It&#8217;s a mixture of insults and condescension. But all of this stuff fails because the Democrats&#8217; message to men is fundamentally emasculating and debasing. That&#8217;s the point of it.
It&#8217;s why they&#8217;re promoting Doug Emhoff as a prototypical male — even after he had an affair with his nanny, and even after he was accused of hitting his ex-girlfriend. The position of the Harris-Walz campaign is that none of that matters. In their eyes, you&#8217;re &#8220;masculine&#8221; as long as you do one thing, and one thing only, which is to submit to whatever liberal women want you to do. The problem for the Kamala Harris campaign — the reason they&#8217;re flailing so publicly — is that despite Democrats&#8217; efforts to destroy it, actual masculinity still exists in this country. Men still exist. And in just a couple of weeks, to the great horror of Julia Roberts and Barack Obama, those men will vote. And they very well may be the ones who decide this election.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) lied over the weekend about his past remarks where he claimed a couple of years ago that there was &#8220;no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech.&#8221;
&#8220;You&#8217;ve said there&#8217;s no guarantee of free speech for misinformation or hate speech,&#8221; &#8220;Fox News Sunday&#8221; host Shannon Bream opressed Walz, referring to his remarks in a 2022 MSNBC interview. &#8220;But first of all, the Supreme Court was very clear in a unanimous 2017 decision that hate speech is protected, that&#8217;s the kind of stuff that needs to be protected, stuff none of us like to hear.&#8221;
&#8220;But more importantly, who gets to decide on the issue of what misinformation is?&#8221; she asked.

Walz responded that he was talking about &#8220;censorship coming in the form of book bannings in different places.&#8221;
&#8220;We&#8217;re seeing attempts in schools,&#8221; he claimed. &#8220;The issue on this was the hate speech and the protected hate speech — speech that&#8217;s aimed at creating violence, speech that&#8217;s aimed at threats to individuals. That&#8217;s what we&#8217;re talking about in this.&#8221;
&#8220;The decision on that, society decides on a lot of this, the idea of someone going on and threatening someone&#8217;s life or a child&#8217;s life online,&#8221; he claimed. &#8220;I don&#8217;t think any of your viewers think that that is something that should be acceptable.&#8221;
Bream quickly pushed back: &#8220;No. No. No. That&#8217;s not misinformation.&#8221;
&#8220;There&#8217;s a distinction you would say though, between something like a threat and misinformation?&#8221; she pressed.
&#8220;Certainly and that&#8217;s what we&#8217;re talking about,&#8221; Walz claimed. &#8220;And that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m so opposed to book banning. That&#8217;s why in Minnesota we ban the practice of book banning, but you make the decision of what you&#8217;re going to read, whether you find it objectionable or not. The difference is, is threats, that type of speech.&#8221;
But that is not what Walz was talking about in 2022.
Walz specifically was talking about the issue of voter intimidation, and making false claims about voting when he said that there was &#8220;no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech.&#8221;
Nowhere in the interview did he discuss book bans or threatening children online.

Minnesota Governor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tim-walz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tim Walz</a> said during an interview this week that voters do not need to worry themselves about what the difference is in terms of policy between President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Walz made the remarks during an interview Friday with WPVI anchor Brian Taff when asked what the key differences would be between the two.
&#8220;The difference between Kamala Harris and Joe Biden is not what [voters] need to be concerned with,&#8221; Walz said. &#8220;They need to be concerned with a Donald Trump who has said he would be a dictator on day one.&#8221;

Walz&#8217;s remarks come as Harris has repeatedly struggled to come up with any differences between her and Biden because doing so would effectively be an admission that something the administration is currently doing is failing.
“There is not a thing that comes to mind,” said during an interview on &#8220;The View.&#8221;
During a subsequent interview on CBS with Stephen Colbert, Harris said: “I’m obviously not Joe Biden. So that would be one change … but also, I think it’s important to say, with 28 days to go, I’m not Donald Trump.”
Biden <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-appears-to-sabotage-kamalas-rally-by-holding-press-event-right-as-she-takes-stage" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pinned</a> Harris to his record when asked about it last week at the White House press briefing.
“Well, she’s — I’m in constant contact with her,” Biden said. “She’s aware of where — we all — we’re singing from the same song sheet. She helped pass all the laws that are being employed now.”
“She was a major player in everything we’ve done, including passage of legislation, which we were told we could never pass,” he continued. “And so, she’s been — and her — her staff is interlocked with mine in terms of all the things we’re doing.”

The Trump War Room shared video from MSNBC&#8217;s coverage of Walz&#8217;s outing, pointing out that even the reporter saw it for the political play that it was. &#8220;MSNBC implies that Tim Walz going pheasant hunting is nothing more than a desperate attempt to make up ground with male voters. A pro-life political action committee launched a six-figure ad campaign on Friday that will highlight Vice President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kamala-harris" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kamala Harris</a>’ radical abortion record in eight battleground states.
The Women Speak Out PAC, a partner of SBA Pro-Life America, announced $2 million on a digital ad campaign in Arizona, Georgia, Montana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Ohio targeting Harris. The ads come as Harris and vice presidential candidate Tim Walz have focused much of their campaign on promoting abortion.
“Through this campaign, we are investing 2 million dollars in eight key battleground states across the nation to expose the truth of the Democrats’ pro-abortion extremism and educate persuadable voters about what&#8217;s at stake in this election,” SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser told The Daily Wire. “By November, we will reach 10 million voters overall – including four million visits to their homes to speak with voters face-to-face.&#8221;
SBA Pro-Life America and its affiliates plan to spend some $92 million in total for the 2024 election cycle.
&#8220;Kamala Harris is so focused on abortion that she is blind to everything else, including the real needs of women and the humanity of the unborn children,” Dannenfelser said. “She refuses to name a single limit on abortion, even in the seventh, eighth, and ninth months of pregnancy. Harris promises to federally force taxpayers to fund all-trimester abortions and cheers on politicians who shut down pregnancy centers that offer real choices and resources for women.”
“Most Americans have reasonable views on abortion. Kamala Harris goes too far. Most Americans support parental notification. Kamala led the charge against it. Most Americans oppose taxpayers funding abortions in foreign countries. Kamala is for it,” a narrator in one of the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBylhrCKYlA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">digital ads</a> says.
Harris <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/manchin-says-he-wont-endorse-kamala-after-she-calls-for-end-of-filibuster" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> last month that she would be in favor of ending the filibuster, which requires 60 votes to advance most legislation, in order to pass a law creating a national right to an abortion.
A <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_J8wjCTIk4&amp;t=30s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">second ad</a> focuses on Toni McFadden, a black woman from Pennsylvania who had an abortion in high school.
“Chris and I have built a loving family, but part of us is missing forever,” Toni says in the ad. “We got pregnant in high school. I was terrified. Planned Parenthood handed me drugs and sent me home. A month later, I started hemorrhaging. Vice President Harris, you call this freedom? Pushing abortions in the black community? If black lives really mattered, help moms and babies.”
Abortion is also <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/pro-life-advocates-warn-of-deceptive-abortion-measures-on-the-ballot-in-red-states" target="_blank" rel="noopener">on the ballot this year in multiple states</a>, including in states like Florida and Missouri, where leftist activists hope to enshrine abortion into state constitutions.

Minnesota Governor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tim-walz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tim Walz</a> (D) on Thursday bungled his attempt to clean up the fallout from his extreme call this week to end the Electoral College.
During an interview with Michael Strahan on ABC News, Walz was asked about the far-Left position, noting that it was not the position of Vice President Kamala Harris.
&#8220;The point I&#8217;m trying to make is, is that there&#8217;s folks that feel every vote must count in every state,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And I think the sense some folks feel that&#8217;s not the case. Our campaign does that. And the point I&#8217;m saying is, I&#8217;m in five states in two days. We&#8217;re out there making the case that the campaign&#8217;s position is clear, that that&#8217;s not their position.&#8221;
When asked by Strahan if this was an issue that he and Harris disagreed on, Walz responded in-part: &#8220;The campaign and my position is the campaign&#8217;s position.&#8221;

The controversy started when Walz <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tim-walz-calls-for-the-electoral-college-to-be-abolished-we-need-a-national-popular-vote">said</a> at two campaign fundraisers on Tuesday that the “Electoral College needs to go,” which forced the Harris campaign to release a statement claiming that it does not support abolishing the Constitutional mechanism for presidential elections.
“I think all of us know, the Electoral College needs to go. We need a national popular vote,” Walz told donors at California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s home in Sacramento. “So we need to win Beaver County, Pennsylvania. We need to be able to go into York, Pennsylvania, and win. We need to be in western Wisconsin and win. We need to be in Reno, Nevada, and win.”

At an event earlier on Tuesday, Walz told supporters that he is “a national popular vote guy, but that’s not the world we live in.”
Following the Minnesota governor’s call for the Electoral College to be abolished, the Harris campaign claimed in a statement, “Governor Walz believes that every vote matters in the Electoral College and he is honored to be traveling the country and battleground states working to earn support for the Harris-Walz ticket.”
“He was commenting to a crowd of strong supporters about how the campaign is built to win 270 electoral votes. And, he was thanking them for their support that is helping fund those efforts,” the statement added.
The Electoral College was established in Article II and the 12th Amendment of the Constitution, which calls for “Electors” to “meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President.” The system requires presidential candidates to gain support from voters across the U.S. instead of focusing on states and cities with the largest populations.
As governor, Walz has pushed for presidents to be elected by popular vote instead of through the Electoral College. In May of 2023, Walz signed the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact into law, making Minnesota the 17th state to agree to award its electoral votes to the candidate who wins the national popular vote.
Walz is not the only Democrat pushing for the end of the Electoral College. After losing the 2016 election to former President Donald Trump, Democrat Hillary Clinton argued for electing presidents through a national popular vote. While Clinton won the popular vote against Trump, she lost to the Republican nominee in the Electoral College 227 to 304.
During the 2020 Democratic presidential campaign, candidates Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) all called for abolishing the Electoral College while on the campaign trail. Harris said in 2019 that she was “open to the discussion” of abolishing the Electoral College.
“I mean, there’s no question that the popular vote has been diminished in terms of making the final decision about who’s the president of the United States and we need to deal with that,” Harris said.

Panic is beginning to set in at Kamala Harris headquarters — and there is a reason for that.
Brand-new polling was released by <a href="https://poll.qu.edu/poll-release?releaseid=3913" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Quinnipiac</a> on Wednesday showing that Harris is dropping like a stone in some of the swing states.
On September 18, when Quinnipiac conducted their <a href="https://poll.qu.edu/poll-release?releaseid=3905" target="_blank" rel="noopener">last poll</a>, Harris was up by five points over former President Trump. Today, Trump is up three points in that same poll, an eight-point swing in his favor.
In that same September poll, Harris was up one point in Wisconsin, but the new poll shows Trump up two points. In Pennsylvania, where she&#8217;s spending tons of money, she was up by six; now, she leads by three.
This was predictable because the reality is that Harris has always been a balloon. Once you puncture the balloon, the air is going to start pouring out.
It is quite possible that Trump&#8217;s vote is being underplayed because it is extremely difficult to get low and mid-propensity voters to answer poll questions.
If you&#8217;re a person who&#8217;s definitely going to vote, you want to talk to the pollster; you want to show your support for the candidate.
But let&#8217;s say there’s someone who sometimes votes and sometimes doesn&#8217;t. If a pollster calls them, that person is going to say, “Dude, I&#8217;m busy. I don&#8217;t even care that much.”
That’s the point: Trump is leading among low-propensity voters and mid-propensity voters 52 to 45. Harris is leading among high-propensity voters, 51 to 47.
The issue in the polling data is that it’s difficult to tell who is voting for Trump and who is not because they&#8217;re not responding to phone calls.
CNN’s Priscilla Alvarez <a href="https://www.mediaite.com/news/harris-campaign-having-flashbacks-to-2016-over-deadlocked-polls-cnn/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">confessed</a>, “I had one source describe it to me this way: ‘People are nervous. They know the polls are tight and a lot of us are having these flashbacks to 2016 too. We know when they can go the wrong way and it can still feel fresh.’” 
2016 is the key here. Comparing what&#8217;s happening now to 2016, Donald Trump is in a better poll position than he has been at any point in any race he has ever run.

In the Real Clear Politics polling average, Trump leads Harris by three in Michigan. At this point in time in 2016, Hillary Clinton had a 7.3 percentage point lead on him there. In 2020, Joe Biden had a 6.7% lead on Trump in Michigan.
In Wisconsin, Harris is <a href="https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2024/wisconsin/trump-vs-harris" target="_blank" rel="noopener">leading</a> by about half a point. But in October of 2020, Joe Biden was leading by five and a half points. Biden won the state by .63 percentage points. So that is a gap of 5% from what people thought was going to happen by polling data.
The same thing is happening in Pennsylvania. According to the latest Pennsylvania polling for <a href="https://www.realclearpolling.com/elections/president/2024/battleground-states" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Real Clear Politics</a>, Trump is up by 0.3 percentage points. In 2016, Hillary Clinton was leading by nine; at this point in October of 2020, Joe Biden was leading by seven.
Looking at these polling stats, it appears that Trump is in a pretty solid position if he is getting under-polled at all.
Harris is lagging behind minority voters. She&#8217;s lagging among black voters. She&#8217;s lagging among Hispanic voters. She&#8217;s really underperforming, and she&#8217;s going to underperform with men generally.
Kamala Harris has a very short shelf life. Politically, she’s like a bottle of milk on expiration date. There are five minutes before that stuff starts to smell sour. 
Right now, she is going sour with the American people. The American people are sick of the “brat.” They&#8217;re sick of the “vibes.” They don&#8217;t believe in the “joy.” They don&#8217;t believe any of that.
She&#8217;s an empty suit. The lady is an entire men&#8217;s warehouse of empty suits.

&#8220;My dry cleaner,&#8221; Kimmel repeated, prompting more laughter.
&#8220;They told me to come up with something,&#8221; Walz shrugged, adding, &#8220;And that was all I could think of.&#8221;
&#8220;Well, you&#8217;re probably going to have to change it now,&#8221; Kimmel joked, and Walz agreed — but Kimmel wasn&#8217;t quite ready to let the bit go. &#8220;But then what happens if your dry cleaner needs to get in touch with you? You&#8217;re not going to be —&#8221;

Minnesota Democratic Governor Tim Walz sparked a wave of backlash on Tuesday when he said at a California fundraiser that he&#8217;d like to see the Electoral College <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tim-walz-calls-for-the-electoral-college-to-be-abolished-we-need-a-national-popular-vote" target="_blank" rel="noopener">abolished</a> in favor of a national popular vote.

The backlash was so swift that within just a few hours, Vice President Kamala Harris&#8217; campaign team had already issued a statement disavowing Walz&#8217;s comments.

‘We Didn’t Agree To That’: Walz Blasted For Call To Eliminate Electoral College

Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz said on Tuesday that the &#8220;Electoral College needs to go,&#8221; forcing the Kamala Harris campaign to release a statement saying it does not support abolishing the Constitutional mechanism for presidential elections.
At two campaign fundraisers on the West Coast, Walz called for abolishing the Electoral College, arguing that it forces candidates to focus too much attention on a handful of battleground states, The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/08/us/politics/tim-walz-electoral-college.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
“I think all of us know, the Electoral College needs to go. We need a national popular vote,” Walz told donors at California Gov. Gavin Newsom&#8217;s home in Sacramento. “So we need to win Beaver County, Pennsylvania. We need to be able to go into York, Pennsylvania, and win. We need to be in western Wisconsin and win. We need to be in Reno, Nevada, and win.”
At an event earlier on Tuesday, Walz told supporters that he is “a national popular vote guy, but that’s not the world we live in.”
Following the Minnesota governor&#8217;s call for the Electoral College to be abolished, the the Harris campaign said in a statement, &#8220;Governor Walz believes that every vote matters in the Electoral College and he is honored to be traveling the country and battleground states working to earn support for the Harris-Walz ticket.&#8221;
&#8220;He was commenting to a crowd of strong supporters about how the campaign is built to win 270 electoral votes. And, he was thanking them for their support that is helping fund those efforts,&#8221; the statement added.
The Electoral College was established in Article II and the 12th Amendment of the <a href="https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-12/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Constitution</a>, which calls for &#8220;Electors&#8221; to &#8220;meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President.&#8221; The system requires presidential candidates to gain support from voters across the U.S. instead of focusing on states and cities with the largest populations.
As governor, Walz has pushed for presidents to be elected by popular vote instead of through the Electoral College. In May of 2023, Walz <a href="https://www.nationalpopularvote.com/state/mn" target="_blank" rel="noopener">signed</a> the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact into law, making Minnesota the 17th state to agree to award its electoral votes to the candidate who wins the national popular vote.

Walz is not the only Democrat pushing for the end of the Electoral College. After losing the 2016 election to former President Donald Trump, Democrat Hillary Clinton argued for electing presidents through a national popular vote. While Clinton won the popular vote against Trump, she <a href="https://www.270towin.com/2016_Election/#google_vignette" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lost</a> to the Republican nominee in the Electoral College 227 to 304.
